Doesn’t keep your pace while you run. Don’t waste your money
RunningPace basically does a straight split. Meaning it thinks I’m going to run approx the same speed every mile for 26.2 miles. Every runner knows that’s not always the case. Don’t waste your money. I could have calculated that myself!!!
RunningPace doesn’t have a bunch of unnecessary features, which I like. It does what I downloaded it to do. I do wish it would let me break down splits by meter-splits or lap splits, though, for track interval purposes. It just takes an extra second to think, ‘ok, so 400-meter splits are 0.4 of a kilometer,’ when x100-meter splits are universally used for workouts.
Works as expected but it would be nice if it was updated to fit phones with larger screens
I've tried several on the iPhone and this one is by far the best. I'm always running new routes, and even though MapMyRun does fine to capture the whole run, when I want to figure out splits for certain sections, this is the fastest and simplest to use. Then when I'm designing a workout and know what pace I want, I can get the splits or goal time for any odd distance. I'm often going back and forth between miles and km, too, and this makes the transition easily - with a miles calculation showing, say, 1 mi splits, I just tap km on the split line and get km splits, for the pace per km.
It always shows (or takes as input) the pace per mile, not km, so if you are km-centric that might be a drawback. And sometimes I wish the time inputs could be typed instead of always having to use the scroll wheel, but it is still very fast and simple. No need for a "settings" screen or a "convert" screen, and the splits show up on the same screen as the input, it's all right there on one page, great use of screen space.
Some apps give you only one decimal place for distance, so you can't even get quarter mile splits, but RunningPace takes 3 decimal places so I can use either .125 mi or .2 km to get 220yd/200m splits and any other decimals I want.
Very simple and flexible to use - great tool!
This is a great little pace calculator. Does its job well.
I love RunningPace. Very simple and does what I need it to do. No ads or other gimmicks.
Great tool for pace calculations! Easy to use & easy to switch between metric and imperial measurements.
Easy to use and very quick pace answers. Worth the cost
This is my go, to calculator to figure out pieces for various types of distances. I would be lost without this I would have to look on the Internet. This is so much quicker and easier than any other method. Thank you.
I’ve used this program for years to help me prepare for my military fitness tests. Stable and steady. Awesome!
I use this a lot. Finding a goal pace, figuring how long a workout will take, and converting miles and kilometers.
Not sure what I would do without this little App. Been using it for years now.
Does exactly what it says on the box! No updates in years? No problem. It just works.
Great app to get all the details on goals or recent run data. Very simple and straightforward to use
What's not to like? RunningPace was free, doesn't take up much memory and is easy to use. I refer to it at least 3 times a week during training runs. Very handy!
RunningPace is very simple and easy to use, and it gives all of the information you want to figure out splits for a race etc.
I love RunningPace. It’s simple, elegant and easy to use. Unlike so many apps out there, it’s not full of useless junk and other stuff you don’t want. It’s simple and to the point and always works perfectly. Thank you!
Very simple, speed calculator… I use it all the time and so should you!
