why am I not able to get a puree white with the color options? There is a noticeable yellowish halo tint around it. Thank you

Hi, I’ve used Youdoodle to put my poetry on top of my photograph for years now. When I’ve gone in tonight there is gridlines on the photos making it impossible to see the writing to position in it. I understand that they are not on the finished product, just there to position but I cannot work with text with them there. For the life of me, an hour later and I can’t get rid of them. So frustrated atm lol
