I have played the older version and beat it many times and continued to play it because it was still fun; but the newer version forces you to pay to keep playing. I’d stay away from this one! If you notice most of the good reviews are from before when they ‘revised’ the game. They must not have been making enough money. Go for something else.

I downloaded GoblinDefenders and for some reason the game picture is showing bigger then my iPhone screen. I tried to zoom out but it would not let me. I couldn’t see the coins, round, or how many lives I had left. I even tried to uninstall the game and reinstall thinking maybe there was a patch and nope same thing.

I opened the game and went to press campaign, before I could click it I had an ad pop up. I was not even in the game for the first time for 15 seconds and I had a ad filling my screen. The game is built to force you to spend money if you want to play it. This game is so bad I chose to spend my time writing a review. Absolute garbage game.

They obviously never ran GoblinDefenders on an iPhone X because they would have seen that it only displays the bottom corner of GoblinDefenders . So all I can see is the bottom left quarter of GoblinDefenders . How does a bug like that get past the developer? I can only imaging how bad the rest of the game must be.

I think this game is a scam if you get to level 11 it’s so hard no one can finish it

Game starts out great but then as game levels increase you are forced to use up your diamonds and then pay real money to pay for items to win mid to upper levels. You have to buy a map to get to each level as well, which greatly decreases your reserves and ability to win. This game needs to allow winners of each level to go to next level without paying for a map.

WARNING you are either going to spend weeks getting to the next map or your own money with on app purchases. The gam play is challenging and fun for the first two levels then the business side of it comes out and it becomes to difficult to move forward without in app purchases. If you got money to burn its a good game but if you don't have a trust fund move on.

Writing review because I just downloaded the game and it doesn’t fit to the screen. Looks like it’s only showing the bottom left of the whole picture

the components of the various towers and maps have at least some promise but cheesy graphics and the need to purchase lots of things to allow you to win makes it a huge thumbs down

Can’t play it on the MAX anymore ...

I love this tower defense game. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes TD games.
I love survival mode. Trying to see how many waves you can survive is the funnest part of this game IMO.
Only gave 4 stars for a couple of reasons.
1. You cannot save games at a certain wave. It is annoying to have to play through the first 30-40 waves again just to get to that wave you are having trouble with. This is the biggest complaint. If this one thing were changed it would be 5 stars. Everything else on this list is minor.
2. No bonus gold for clearing an entire wave.
3. Only limited information about the towers and how they work. For example, how many times does the lightning tower jump between targets and does it do full damage every time it jumps or partial damage and if the later, what percentage of damage does it do? How long does the poison last? What is the rate of fire for each tower?
4. Some towers are 'stupid'. They prioritize what mob they want to attack in inefficient ways. Or they fail to even target because they are facing the wrong way, which you would not suspect to be a problem except I have watched mobs zip past a tower and the tower does not react.
5. A community web site to post and share successes and strategies.
All in all, a very fine game with many hours of challenging fun.

Can you add an info to learn about towers and enemies like in the pc version, please? Also fix the bug where the game freezes after beating a level. Please stop the wheel from popping up in the map which crashes the game.

I've seen a few games (Strategy wise/Defend the castle) where you put the selection of preventative measures that you can in the midst of the (wave after wave after wave) of enemy onslaught! I did rate this FIVE STAR which I was tentative to do since I have seen these type of games before and frankly the selection of defenses that you can put up were not impressive. Mainly due to the limit of selections that you've given there is lack of depth there. However out of all the same types that I've seen (And there are many, very many out there) this particular one has the best graphics I've seen-The greatest selection of intruders you come up against & above all the "Gem drop" which is not some lame attempt to illicit money from everyone! The drops are often & do add up. That doesn't necessarily excuse the fact that I think there's a play for people's money but it is much, much, much more subtle then most of the free apps out there. So I caved from thinking I was going to go with four stats & went with five. Very well done pat yourselves and all those in your Guy's (& Gal's) crew as I give this one 5 thumbs up! Thanks for the mind numbing fun, Stephen. (I meant that respectfully funny BTW). Take care and May GOD BLESS You & Yours!
