STILL Doesn't Work with iOS 8.1 Upgrade!!!!

HouseGarden STILL does not work with the iOS 8.1 upgrade on the iPhone 6 plus. When will you resolve this problem? HouseGarden just opens to a blank white page. This is really frustrating and is pushing me to cancel my subscription for services not delivered! Please fix HouseGarden a.s.a.p.!

Very buggy app

I’ve deleted and reloaded HouseGarden two or three times. It’s fine for a short while, but then just shuts down every time I open it.

Horrible app great magazine

I purchased a subscription a month ago and was never able to download the issue. I contacted the developer but received no response. Luv the magazine, but sadly the poor customer service and unresponsive app leave me no choice but to cancel my sub.

Can’t view purchased editions

Updating previous review: repeated emails to as many email addresses at Conde Nast as I can find have gone unanswered. Thus, I have reduced the rating to 1 star and cancelled my subscription.

Firstly, I’d like to state that this is a great magazine, and I have purchased many editions for the iPad.
However, after the most recent update to HouseGarden , I can’t access any of the previously bought editions. In fact, it seems that all I can do is to re-purchase them!
Emails to Conde Nast Support outlining the problem are not answered, and I am extremely disappointed by this.
Please fix!!

Great Magazine, Terrible App

Why terrible? No benefits of reading a magazine digitally as you find with Architectural Digest. Layout is exactly as it would appear in the print version but sometimes isn’t even aligned properly with blank gaps at the top or bottom of the page. Do they not have anyone proofreading the digital edition? Magazine often seizes and freezes up so that I have to delete HouseGarden and start again. You also can’t select issues to delete from device. I subscribe to Vogue and AD for iPad and never have any of these problems. H&G must not have much management support for digital improvements or everyone just assumes H&G’s stodgy old readers don’t care about a digitally amateurish production. Maybe I am the only one. Finally, all the other magazines I subscribe too are way cheaper when you subscribe than to purchase individual issues. The opposite is true with H&G! No discount at all with a subscription. So I just buy and download a copy when I think of it every few months. That must not be helping the bottom line or is it a point of pride that nobody at the magazine cares about the finances of running things? I guess they will care if the magazine goes under, though — or maybe not.

Great content unfortunately the formatting on an iPhone 11 or iPad are not correct. Need to be scrolling down as the top always cuts off.

I always look forward to the beautiful pages of this magazine. Such a monthly treat to peak inside other people’s homes, get great tips on gardening and cooking and just enjoy an hour’s respite from the daily grind

It is a real treat to read. I also have a subscription. This is a very English look for Americans. Very different from what you might have expected. Always beautifully photographed. A fantastic source to furnish your home with. Superb for ideas on mixing furniture and for color.
