I have used MoonGarden for over a year now to time my agroforestry activities. I grow many medicinal herbs, hardwood trees, wild plants, organic vegetables, and indoor microgreens along with multiple fungi both indoors and out. MoonGarden has increased my success and yield substantially. I don’t know what I would do with MoonGarden!

From what I’ve seen so far with results especially with planting new seeds, MoonGarden is accurate!

It would be nice to be able to click into days in calendar view to see specific days in the future.

It’s the best app I have ever used.

I Began using MoonGarden about a month ago and really enjoy it. I plant mostly vegetables and herbs, live in the south in the Central time zone in North America and it seems to be pretty spot on with the timing.

Love it. I reference this all the time when planning and prioritizing work in my garden.

Extremely accurate!

MoonGarden has potential to be quite helpful and I find that I check in on it from time to time. Good for a quick check...it really seems like it could be so much more.

MoonGarden has great potential. I was so much looking forward to using it till I discovered it must not be updated for Northern hemisphere even though I selected it. The moon signs are off by 3-5 days. Making it useless.

I LOVE MoonGarden!

It’s so simple to use compared to the Almanac. Icons show per each day, so you can prepare ahead of time.

There are other features that are free to use…making notes, sharing pictures.

The touch feature for MoonGarden is fickle and often doesn’t work, or jumps around the calendar. “Dictionary” is misspelled in the main menu. It’s more cumbersome than it is helpful.

I really want to like and enjoy MoonGarden. I have found that the signs lack a few days behind which makes MoonGarden pointless on what we should do as gardeners. Need to go back to the almanac books

Everyone knows that when the sun is in a sign, the moon will be in the opposite sign, when the moon is full. This is not the case with your calendar. Something seems to be off.

This is a very useful tool. I’m really grateful to have the info and guidance and easy access to what’s going on with the moon.

Could use a few improvements in my humble opinion:
The moon section: it would be nice if you could swipe to different dates from the moon page, rather than having to go back to the calendar page, choose a date, then tap back on moon. Kinda tedious.
Also would be really cool if the moon image displayed was real time. So if it’s a quarter moon on the date you’re looking at, then the image would reflect exactly what it looks like in that date.
Also it would be cool if it displayed the phase (waxing, waning, crescent, gibbous)

Dictionary could be expanded a little more, give a little more info on techniques and stuff. Also, what is the difference between plant and plant out? Is planting out the same as what we call ‘repotting’ in the US?

The Garden section is a little confusing. It says “What to do: Harvest fruits, vegetables fruits and flowers or leaves” What?? That is a very confusing sentence, or maybe that’s suppose to be a few different points and they aren’t properly selected by commas. Could we get some better wording there? Also when you’re looking at a Root veg day, it mentions cloning and grafting. Do you graft root vegetables? Or clone them? From what I’ve researched cloning and grafting are not applicable to potatoes, garlic, carrots, radishes, onions, etc. But maybe I just don’t know.

So basically, I think it could just use some grammar editing, and a little more specific and clarified information on what tasks to do/ not do.

But once again, I want to thank the developers for creating this and making it available to us! Much appreciated

MoonGarden allows you to choose Northern or Southern Hemisphere. It does NOT show the correct Moon, which is the point, RIGHT? Don’t buy this.

I don’t get MoonGarden. It’s not what I thought is was! On the what to do page, it don’t do nothing. I can’t get past that page. What’s up?!

The information does not match other moon cycle references. I cant set my planting zone or get the weather.

Give incorrect information. You should fix MoonGarden. Deleting it.

I recently submerged myself in the wonderful world of gardening and thanks to MoonGarden I have a great guide to know when work the soil, clone, plant, etc. greatly recommend.
