I downloaded IQTest out of curiosity. At first impression it seemed like a well-structured app. I clicked “create profile,” (It does require your age, name, and then eventually, your email address.) After clicking “take test” IQTest navigates to a web page. I was puzzled that an app would take one to a website. 20 minutes are given to answer 20 questions. The questions themselves, and the format seemed well constructed. There are several different categories, including: math, spatial reasoning, and problem solving. Instructions at the beginning of the test, explain that “If you get stuck, you can skip that question and come back to it later,” however, when I did skip a question, the test never did return. When I had completed the test, I was asked again for my name, and also for my email address before viewing my results. However, Instead, I was directed to choose a payment plan as a condition of receiving my test results.
I chose not to pay the requested fee, but now IQTest designers have my personal information, and I am rather disappointed. I would recommend finding a different app. Thank you, and have a wonderful day.

I don’t want or need to spend $20+ to get a “report” the accuracy and validity of which are only the opinion of the developer. What group other than the developer have tested the validity? What is the sd of the test? What are the responding and the variable causing the response? What aspect of intelligence does the test measure? There is more than one such aspect!
In short, someone reading this review should understand this test is not gospel. This review was written by a graduate level psychologist trained at Hopkins .

What a colossal scam. I purchased an “UNLIMITED NUMBER OF TESTS.” After purchase you discover there is ONLY 1 TEST that you can take as often as you like. HOWEVER, we are told from the outset that taking the test more than once will provide inaccurate results.

I have been robbed and will find a way to get a refund based upon inaccurate and misleading description.

I’ve literally had IQTest for less than 5 minutes and it won’t let you go past entering your information such as your date of birth. The ridiculous thing is that there is only one option. It’s a specific date: March 22, 2017. That put s me at the age of 5. IQTest states that it is designed for someone over the age of 8, so IQTest is self destructive. At first, had an issue with having to re-enter my DOB. Second, the instructions said that the test was in sections with 8-15 questions per section with instructions before each section which could be used to pause the test. However, the test only appeared to be one section with a continuous timer. Basically, you’re assessed on how many questions you can answer correctly with in 30 minutes. No sections, no pauses. Third, the lowest I’ve ever tested on valid IQ test is a 110 which I scored with out trying due to not being told I was taking an IQ test. For most IQ test (including those given by psychiatrists and psychologist,) I normally score between 110 and 140. However, with this one, I only scored 107. It could be accurate, but being as it conflicts severely with the IQ test given by both other test aps and professionals, I’m going to guess that its not that accurate. Perhaps, it needs work. Perhaps, I needed more sleep.

I took this test to find my IQ. In other tests online, I have gotten a good enough IQ, though this one gave me many many points less. Not only did it discourage my hopes and dreams, it was very frustrating to know how bad you might do while others might get more points. The questions? There were only 39. I have heard real people with real IQs say there were more questions than that amount. I want to believe that this test is not very accurate, but just approximate or less. In my case, hopefully, very much less.

Im 15 and scored a 133 but I know I’m not that smart. The essential sense of this test is to see if you can recognize the patterns in the system, not only does this test eliminate the creative side of a persons thoughts but also denies ppl who don’t have a mathematical way of thinking to score high. There are many ppl in this world who are extraordinarily intelligent but would not score highly on this test. This would most likely include world leaders who never received a full education but through the trials they were put in they exercised their quick or innovative thinking to lead their countries out of problems. I agree this test can somewhat demonstrate their mathematical sense of thinking but everyone knows this is but one aspect to a persons IQ.

Though the concept is close it isn’t accurate. I recently had my IQ tested and it came out to be 121, yet I took this test and got 105. The idea of the test is intelligent, however do not trust it for an accurate answer. For that you must talk to a doctor or teacher/professor.

Instructions indicated that there would be sections, with the ability to pause, yet this was one continuous stream of questions, and I had no idea how to plan my time (never knew how many were left so I took as long as I wanted on each question). If I had known, for example, that there were five questions left, and I only had two minutes left, I would have gone through those last five much more quickly. However since I did not know how many questions there were total, I just took my time. And as such, I did not finish. But perhaps there was no finish. I am so confused.

The date of birth setting worked fine for me. You have to press the “done” button after putting in your age though or else it will reset itself. I don’t know how accurate this is, but I am taking a different test soon and will compare the results.

I like your game. It is well developed and is a correctly given a IQ tester. But you should make all the test free I know you might live off of this but you need a job.

So, I’ve been seeing people score really low on this test than they did on other tests (like having an iq of 140 but instead getting a 115), but I find it weird that I got a 140 on my first try. I’m only 12. 🧐

Testing w shapes on your phone may not be to your advantage; especially if you have visual deficits. After a while, the shapes began to give me a headache because they were very small and concentrating was needed on a few. I found them to start moving even though they really weren’t.
I strongly urge anyone to use a larger tablet and not their little phone.

Was just signing up and reading the Instructions, specifically, the “Attention” section in red. Found punctuation missing and you used the word “advice,” which is a noun, instead of the correct “advise,” which is a verb. You might consider an editor. I know your app has had good reviews and I’m sure I’ll enjoy using it, but I don’t think you want people to think your work is shoddy.

Took the test, I see what everyone is talking about birthday trouble, you just have to put your birthday in a couple times after putting all the other information in and hit continue/done.

My vision isn’t as good as it use to be and at the end some of the finer details were hard to see which may or may not have had an effect but I loved it

Interesting test, don’t hv results yet, very pattern oriented and I hope it doesn’t make me stupid but the consistency in the patterns were hard to figure out, they didn’t make a lot of sense to me

Exceptional testing, solid skills required. Timed. Not difficult but definitely makes you think.

Yes it’s official! I’m dumbing down😔 seriously I was interested in taking the test because I have been feeling for the past year or so that I was ‘losing it’ . I was actually having trouble remembering simple things, couldn’t remember how to spell , couldn’t remember who, what , where, how...so yes it’s official I dropped over 20 points off of my lifelong IQ ..so do the6 hav3 an app that can tell you why? Lol I’ve been noticing a decline in my health also so maybe a commitment to regaining the physical will be the first step in regaining the mind. Great App! I’m so glad it was available👍👍👍👍👍

IQTest is free at the beginning. Bug with age information and doesn't accept some years and months. Ask some childish question even if you are more than 40-50
Doesnt ask about educational history and after waisting your time ask for ~$20 for unknown/inaccurate result!

I downloaded IQTest and paid for 10 tests... I couldn’t find out how to access the test after I took one. I emailed about this and was told that getting those 10 tests really mean I could take the test 10:times but I would have to make a new user name each time... that is not how it is represented.. don’t bother with IQTest ...

Downloaded IQTest but never had a chance to take the test. Before you start you need to enter your personal data and “Age” / birthdate function doesn’t work, so you can’t actually use IQTest any further and can’t take the test. I’m so relieved I didn’t have to pay for it... Deleted!

The test is set up well, but I have an IQ of 130 and have been tested professionally. I took this for fun to stretch my brain. It said I got a 105, and I know that isn’t accurate. I was in gifted classes all through elementary and middle school, meaning you had to have an IQ of over 120. Waste of time.

I don’t understand, how you can receive money but have no more test. There is no option to take additional test

Very easy test if you had another 5 mins. I did enjoy it getting my brain moving.

I don't know why everyone says it's absolutely horrible, in my opinion it is amazing
