I don't know where to begin..it takes too long to make a transaction compared to other apps like square, the placement of the delete button confuses me.

I like the service for processing credit cards, but HMPRetail looks and operates like it was designed by someone wanting to run my customers off. They need to take a look at the flow of square or paypal app to get a feel for how this needs to be done. If I hand my phone to a customer for them to sign and possibly add a tip, they can’t see a total until they click the button that makes the keyboard go away. Really? they don’t know the total until they click another button? Seriously, way harder than it needs to be. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is I like the service. HMPRetail itself deserves 1 or less.

HMPRetail is clunky and slow. The powers that be need to redesign HMPRetail because it’s horrible. You may want to consider an iPad app as well.

I have to reset my password every time I close HMPRetail as it doesn’t remember me and says I have the wrong password. Now it won’t even let me reset because it freezes on the page with the security question. I fact the question doesn’t even load. What a shame.

Has HMPRetail been ditched by Heartland? Needs many updates to compete with the likes of Square and Intuit. Please! I want to use HMPRetail so badly but can't stand it.

Need to update so don't have to use X2 on an iPad. Would also like to be able to fill out more info on 1st page before submitting. Other than that, so far so good.

Smooth running, faster than traditional, easier record keeping, great customer service.

Very cool app. I like how customers can sign on the screen and obtain their receipt via email.

Very simple and easy to use. Love the demo mode. Equipment for the phone is very reasonably priced too! Nice job Heartland!!

While we understand that you're currently using the Square, we have a personal screening process where a serviceman comes out to your place of business, introduces you to our fee schedule, and does a detailed credit history and background check. At that time it will be determined if heartland is a good fit for you. Or if you're a good fit for them. I am contacted by 100 of these processors a month and the only thing I wasn't asked for, was a copy of my current credit card processing statement. I imagine I just didn't give them a chance to ask. I will not jump through hoops just so that I can pay 3% for someone else to accumulate airline miles.
