Pretty good app to keep up on your math facts. I wish more students in class could do simple math in their heads. They just don’t seem to have it anymore. This could help. And for adults, you wouldn’t be happy to admit you couldn’t read, right? So why be satisfied saying “I can’t do math?” Math facts are really a development of memory more than anything and this is a pretty good way of doing it. I wish the developers would augment their settings for the mid level multiplication segment. Any two digit times any two digit is a little challenging so maybe programming the second multiplier to be 15 or less would be good? Then another level to practice any two digit number times two digits between 16 and 20. Just an idea. Thanks for creating this cool app!

I’ve been playing this game for pretty much about a year and I am a master but when i do addition i get something correct and i answer the second question very fast but th recheck distracts it wastes time and without the check you know what questions you did right at the end cause maybe it will repeat a same question again who knows and this issue happened to me for a year straight and today I had enough of it and so the check should be removed and I am in 8th grade right now that’s why I’m good at math hope you read this review... But so far this has been a awesome game.. for improving my math and I’m am first in my class from this game but now I am too fast for this game so I hope you remove the check and also my high score is 598 just to let you guys know I could’ve got more bu the check distracted but so far this game is AWESOME

Math isn’t my favorite subject lol being out of high school since 2010 lol well I’ve been digging through math things to help me out well I came across MentalMathCardsGamesTips and let me tell you this has been a huge blessing for me. I’ve been studying other math apps, website and also got a tutor as well and I can say MentalMathCardsGamesTips has help me in so many ways. Also I’ve been studying to take the ASVAB and I can say I’ve seen a lot of improvement since I’ve been studying these flash cards and etc so if math isn’t your favorite subject do what I do I’m making it my favorite subject. So whoever made MentalMathCardsGamesTips thank you so so so much because MentalMathCardsGamesTips has definitely helped me out. Again thank you

I’m using this for my high school math classes only to speed up mental math calculations and get more fluent in it, while minimizing simple mistakes. Setting aside a few minutes a day to do this is already proving useful for things like factoring where knowing the multiple different factors already helps quicken the process. The only downside to this would probably be that you must pay for an in app purchase in order to unlock a mixed mode to become more familiar in real world scenarios, but even then, it would help develop MentalMathCardsGamesTips more and make the learning experience much better. Anyways, it’s a great app, and if you’re looking to quicken up some basic arithmetic this is the one I would highly recommend. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Some may discourage this application and give it a 4.5 , or maybe even lower . However , the main purpose is practice daily and build that muscle memory as well developing an algorithm to solve these problems . The new updates are really cool. It empowers the user either set a time limit or not set a time limit. In addition to that , it has voice recognition to read out loud the problems and so the user can answer the problema as well. In short ,it’s a cool and it’s definitely worth checking it out.

*Revised. After two months of using MentalMathCardsGamesTips I am glad to say it is in the top five apps I have ever used. It has just the right amount of difficulty. I was concerned at first, but no longer. The developer has done a great job setting MentalMathCardsGamesTips up for people like me; people who just need to relearn or memorize the basic multiplication that you didn't when you were younger. It has been incredibly helpful for me. I would encourage anyone to use MentalMathCardsGamesTips.

Hi! I think the math game is super fun to play when u are board and I am in fifth grade so it will help me a lot with my family issues and in school! And my grades are going down on math and reading but I don’t think this game will help me on reading but it will definitely on math!! Since and history and writing are my As but on one of my math test I got a 10!!!!! And I was not happy with my grade I got. but this game will help with all that! So thx for everything and making MentalMathCardsGamesTips it really helps

I use MentalMathCardsGamesTips to stay sharp. My arithmetic is much improved from a lifetime and of being bad at it and overly relying on calculators. One thing I would like to see modified: when doing a timed challenge at the end, my fingers keep moving and I end up missing the score much of the time. There is no delay so I end up swiping the score away or hitting the ok, because I am trying to beat the clock for that one last answer. Anyhow, A small delay or something like that would help.

Wanna know why I rated all five stars ?? Because this really helped me when they online schooled during this quarantine time and this also kinda fun way of learning and I am literally addicted to this . When in school you have to do the old way of calculate with a calculator, but now all the answers are in my mind and I don’t even have to look at anything and I just practice and practice without counting or anything and now I am way better at math before now. I LOVE THIS🤍💯

I love MentalMathCardsGamesTips!
I’m in eighth grade but my math skills are still barely out of seventh grade. I used to be so nervous about having to solve math problems with big numbers, no matter the operation and would panic slightly when presented with a problem.
But MentalMathCardsGamesTips changed that! Just working on it for a half hour every day has improved my math skills. MentalMathCardsGamesTips is a lot better than other math drill apps I’ve seen because you don’t have to pay money to drill larger numbers.
MentalMathCardsGamesTips is amazing. I totally recommend it!

I think this is a generally good app! You can test your math skills, and it can make you like math more! Take a break from your sudoku and play Mental Math! Even though there are a lot of ads, it’s a well-thought out app. I enjoy this (I’m a nerd :p ) I think if you want to practice your mental math skills that this is a good app for you! This is the best game ever because because you can do subtraction addition times multiplication multiplication I am the first time I started doing this I don’t think it would be so easy but now now I think it’s easy pretty pretty pretty pretty easy so if you’re reading this and you’re a grown-up you should try it too and you should like to be one or two-year-old to do it so when you go in the first grade they’ll know how to do it my brother does it too it’s pretty easy for both of us were my baby sister did

I’ve always liked Mental Math but I like it even more with the new voice-based mode, now it’s 100% mental, no longer fumbling with the keyboard.

I have a suggestion for the voice feedback: Full sentence confirmations like “64 is correct” are a bit distracting and take time away from the 2 minute timed challenge. How about replacing them with short correct/ wrong beeps? Even better, have just brief wrong beeps and simply continue to the next question on correct answers?

MentalMathCardsGamesTips tops all the other ones and I love practice this with my baby doll, I can tell she loves MentalMathCardsGamesTips as much as I do! I’m ten years old and I love playing. It helps me stay focused on school even when we are on Spring break it helps to get a little boost before you go back to make sure you don’t forget anything! It helps when you are about to take the GMAS. I like practicing because it helps me a lot! I kinda miss a few the first time I play it, but the second round I’m more better! I love MentalMathCardsGamesTips and recommend that you use it too!

It really helps with your easy addition , multiplication, and division . I’ve been using this the whole summer , every day , to get me prepared for middle school . If I don’t have any practice , I will not remember almost anything from my previous math classes. It needs some more color, when I work , I like to have at least a little color to convince me to do my work . I feel like MentalMathCardsGamesTips can be for any age . Also , you can use it at anytime for free , instead of paying for something you can honestly do on paper . But , since you don’t have to pay and MentalMathCardsGamesTips is free , and also convenient , it’s great !

I love MentalMathCardsGamesTips. I was horrible at multiplication and was running behind the class in it until I got MentalMathCardsGamesTips . This game allows me to learn the maths facts and have fun at the same time!!! Now, after school I come home and play this for a few minutes and I already know like 5 math facts. I strongly recommend it to everyone, teachers and students. It is a great way to spend my free time. Playing and learning all at once. If there is anything that I would consider is that every time you beat your record then you get some points (depending on how you did) and when you get 100 points then you have officially passed that part.

It’s fun with a new update where something speaks to you, In 2008 I did horrible on multiplication but now I’m much better if your kid is trying to learn multiplication let him do MentalMathCardsGamesTips it is so fun I’ve finally got a 50 on hard subtraction, thanks mental math creators shout out to Nichols McNamra answer me back did you see that wassemoft guy I think he cheated somehow I’m not sure but in two digit afittion he got like 900 points (you get two points for EACH QUESTION) and he got 998 the timer is set to two minutes and you can’t change that but if your doing it for fun like me don’t cheat it’s not fun that way. I got 335 in multiplication one digit (shout out to anybody who can beat that!)

I love everything MentalMathCardsGamesTips has to offer and I’ve been using it off and on for a few years now, but it looks like from their most recent update the text sized increased and not everything fits on the screen. I’m using an iPhone SE 2020 and already tried changing the text size through the menu.

Update: Nick has been quick to respond to my issue and I completely understand what he’s going through as a fellow developer (web apps). I just happen to have a specific device set to a specific setting (iPhone SE 2020 with display zoom set to “zoomed”). Other than that, MentalMathCardsGamesTips works perfectly and it does exactly what I want.

I give MentalMathCardsGamesTips a Five star rating because it’s good for you and you can see your accuracy, that means how fast you go. It can push you to your limit and there’s even a time challenge that you can pick and that gives you like a 2 min timer!!! I think people should also try XtraMath first because it’s so fun and you can make Mr. B have a sad face on that he didn’t get the question before you did. Let’s get to the main point here though. MentalMathCardsGamesTips is fun and educational. It can test your and your child’s knowledge and you can even select medium, easy, and hard math facts. I often will do multiplications on hard mode to practice. I am now using the voice method to practice. Soon I will practice division as well, and hopefully see some improvement. All in all MentalMathCardsGamesTips is great and it’s very easy to use. I ask the developers please don’t try to change it to make it better. It’s already pretty good. If the developers add anything keep it separate from the basic multiplications. I would say adding a theory section with tips for a rapid multiplication tricks would be appreciated. Also a super hard mode with triple digit multiplication would be useful as well. I hope this message reaches the developers well. All in all, I am super thankful for MentalMathCardsGamesTips, as it is fun and good for my cognition.

MentalMathCardsGamesTips is a nice one it helped me prepare for a test and I’ve been using it over the break from COVID19 and it’s been teaching me what I need to know i have used it about 15 min a day to keep up I used these a lot for me and it’s been showing significant growth between every times test I do on Friday's just to see how I’ve been doing at the end of every week and it’s been pretty good I can be lazy and prepare at the same time right here in my bed while eating food or driving somewhere in the cars it’s really fun and easy to used while isolated from COVID19

Honestly, you would think it’d be easy to find a simple math practice app, but there’s so many bad ones. This one is super easy to use. The interface gets out of the way so you can focus on the math itself. The buttons are easy to press, the numbers are displayed clearly, and the last update allows the numbers to be read out instead of shown; this is an excellent feature. It’s very likely that if you have to do mental math it’s because the numbers are given to you verbally as opposed to on paper, so this allows a whole additional degree of practice. The things i’m missing in this application, and I’m hoping will be added are: 1) More customization/difficulty with the numbers. For example i’d like to multiply 2 digit by 3 digit numbers and 3 digit by 3 digit numbers. 2) Decimal places! This is another thing I’d like more practice on. 3) Negative numbers. Similar to the other aspects, i think this just would be a nice addition. Sure some of these things exist in other apps, but those ones all just feel harder to use and are clunkier. This is by far the cleanest, simplest mental math app, so i’m willing to wait for more updates.
