I can no longer select a square. The clock is ticking away but nothing is happening.

I downloaded this game and enjoyed playing it. I purchased coins to use as hints etc. The game is challenging which is what I enjoyed.

However, when I opened the game yesterday the whole screen froze. I couldn’t do anything, nothing was responding. I couldn’t even go into settings to do anything, the only option was to delete the game and reinstall it which I did and it was working again. Shortly after, it did the same thing and I had to delete and reinstall again.

In settings, there is a “restore purchases” arrow so I tried to click on that arrow to restore my coins that I purchased previously. When I clicked the arrow, nothing happened. I sent an email asking about this and their response was that because I deleted the game, all my purchases cannot be recovered. The “restore purchases” arrow was only if you purchased “no ads”. I only deleted the game because it froze and that was the only option.

Other games I play always have the option to restore purchases if the game freezes, why does this one not. I guess I am searching for another game similar to this one but not by this provider. Buyer beware!

I’m sure there are reputable versions of this game. It’s probably an app that has more than just this one puzzle type. MathPuzzleGames is just an advert app. The actual game is very basic with 4 levels and after one time playing each level up to expert and 10 games playing expert I was finishing puzzles in about a minute. Then after EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. an ad would play and to skip it, you have to:
1. Sit thru 10 secs of an ad.
2. Hit skip button when it comes up after 10 secs (and that’s if the skip isn’t hard to see).
3. Hit DONE because it automatically takes you to the game in App Store.
4. Wait another 5 seconds for an X to appear to cancel the ad again (again sometimes it’s hard to see).
5. Then hit the X.
6. Then hit done again after it takes you to MathPuzzleGames Store AGAIN.
7. AND THEN you can play another game on expert level that may take you not much longer than a minute if your lucky.

Go find this type of puzzle in a legit app. I’m JUST as mad at Apple for allowing these type of Apps. I will be reporting it.
AND I’m saving this review in a Note AND keep the game so that each time it updates, I can resubmit this review.

I don’t know why but as soon as I started MathPuzzleGames, my iPad got so hot that I thought my iPad was gonna burn, I think MathPuzzleGames does something very strange in the back sending my information to who knows where, so,, for my device and my own sake I’m deleting it right away. Just not worth the risk.

I agree with the Bakingcountrygirl2011 !!!! You can’t play 2 consecutive games without a lengthy ad — and I finish the games in less than a minute bc there’s a timer !! I don’t mind ads, but this is very very lengthy ones and same ones over and over !! Not fun waiting THAT long just to play a 30-second game !!! ALSO, there’s a competition for playing 100 games —- you’ll need a month with no sleep if you plan on playing that many — bc ads are lengthening it and I’ll never get to 100 ! I love Math and love the concept — but I am done !! If I do a puzzle or Sudoku, I’m entertaining myself and not watching ads 24/7 …. Sorry —

This game is amazing, new spin on cross puzzles that I actually enjoy. The only problem I have is with all the ads. Every time you finish a puzzle it gives you the option to collect 3x coins if you watch an ad. If you skip this it then immediately plays an ad that you have to wait 3-5 seconds per part (normally 4 parts) before you can skip it. So essentially it’s either watch a 20 or 30 second ad between every puzzle regardless of what you do. There are also ads at the bottom of every puzzle. This took a great concept and made me hate playing more than one puzzle per time opening MathPuzzleGames .

I don’t see any good reason for them to combine puzzle size with difficulty. Example: easy puzzles seem to be tiny and have few missing numbers. If I’m actually doing math, it’s very easy to work out what the missing numbers are. But then the puzzle size is so small I don’t actually get to practice very much, which is what I really want. If I jump up to medium difficulty, the puzzle size is better, but now there are too many missing numbers so I need a pencil and paper to sort out what the right solution is. My opinion/skill might change if I played this for a while, but I’m deleting it: There’s no way I can get into a groove playing this game…Bad design with difficulty… and also way too many ads.

I like the game. I love math. But an ad after every game solved…..NO! I’ve deleted many games because of that. I understand ads help the developer. But an ad after every game, is ridiculous. Nice game, but deleted. Sorry

I clearly stated I understand some ads. Your some ads is clearly different from ,y some ads. We’re talking every puzzle solved, there’s an ad. I hate leaving bad reviews. I honestly do. But you state no,ads, up yet here we are. I love math. I really liked MathPuzzleGames. Fix the ads and I’ll come back. Good luck.

The beginner games are easy and work fairly well. However, as you start to play more advanced games, you’ll find that they use a lot of 1’s, which makes it ridiculously easy on those. But on other screens, they basically leave half to most of the screen with nothing for you to really work off; you literally have to just make a few guesses and see how it works out. If that doesn’t work… make a new guess and see how far that gets you. I’m wanting this to improve my mental strength, not my guessing ability.

I lasted 2 days. Now it’s time to find one that’s been given more attention.

When I downloaded this game, it said no annoying ads. Before I could even play my first game, I had to watch an ad, and now I have to watch an ad between each level. The game itself is fun, but I usually turn my phone to airplane mode and shut off the Wi-Fi, I spend 90 seconds between each game watching a stupid ad for something else that I’m not interested in

The game is awesome but there’s nothing worse than having to watch an ad after completing each little level or whatever. I’ll be deleting and looking for a better option

Why wait 19 days when you can put it online now? I think you’ll ❤️ love it at first sight like many girls! It’s a number game for all ages!

Can you try to add to MathPuzzleGames the same 10,000 puzzles which appear with sudoku on its related app? And can you add the option to restart daily puzzles to both apps after successfully finishing?

This game is exactly what I was looking for. But the ads after every single short game?? I know this is how you support yourselves but I would never, ever purchase another game presented to me this way. I know, I know, I could pay for an ad-free game but deleting it for now.

I adore this game. It’s fun, challenging and addicting. However I liked the game so much I quickly paid so there would be No Ads. That worked for maybe two weeks. Now the Ads are back. What a waste of money. Am pondering whether to dump the game, there are endless others.

I downloaded the game because the ad stated “no annoying ads”. Unfortunately, there are ads after each game which I consider annoying, not to mention advertising fraud. However, what was even more annoying was how fast it zaps my battery. My iPhone gets extremely hot while playing and depletes my normal full day battery life to less than one hour. Not sure what all is going on in the background but don’t feel safe with it on my phone.

I understand ads are necessary when you download a free app and I truly love the game. I would love to get MathPuzzleGames again if the problem with the battery is corrected.

Fun to play, but can’t get into a rhythm as the ads come up and lock the screen. Even after watching the ad, the “x” doesn’t work. Too bad as it was fun, but becomes another delete.

App has nice functionality but not challenging enough. Expert level has too may x/1=x problems. The ads are way too long and occur after every puzzle. which forces me to quit playing the game and resent each app being advertised. I guess creating an ad for your competition would be a good way to get more people using your app.

I enjoy the puzzles, but after the first maybe 3 there is an ad after EVERY puzzle. That is excessive; turns me off to MathPuzzleGames when I spend more time watching the same ads over and over than actually solving the puzzles. Disappointed.

I was really enjoying MathPuzzleGames until this morning when it started crashing. My entire screen blacked out, and I’m still not sure what happened. Unfortunately, I ended up deleting it.

The ad for this game says “no annoying ads “ when, in fact, it does indeed have “annoying ads”. Blatant lie.

An ad after every level or two is maddening! I finally deleted the game. Too bad. It’s fun…when you actually get to play.

this game is pretty good will definitely keep playing but the puzzles arent really as hard as the levels and the levels say we get things wrong sometimes

Agree with the reviewer who said keys and selections were unresponsive. Given that all games are timed, let’s take some of the fun out of the “competition.“

Despite being promoted as a game with “no annoying ads”, I sure get an ad after almost every level. The gameplay is fun, and moderately challenging for some of the harder levels. My biggest issue (aside from the slew of ads) is the ridiculous AI images you get as a “reward” for completing event objectives. Avoiding even getting into the AI debate, it’s insulting to get pictures that clearly haven’t even been checked over by the team before approval. A prime example of this is the 4th Easter reward, which features a 4-eared mutant rabbit thing being passed off “festive”. 4/5 stars

I think your app is awesome and I love these puzzles. The big challenge is trying to determine between ADD (+) and DIVIDE symbols. They look quite similar and I am moving the phone around, trying to get the best view. If you could change the color or make the symbols more clear, it would get you a 5-star rating from me!!!

I really like this game because not only can I help someone that needs it and it comes like a different level but also it comes in times division math adding subtracting but also because it also gives you like a time and if there’s a time timer so you have to figure them out for the timer stops and it’s a really fun game and it could help you with your math and a bunch of more things and it’s also pretty fun and it’s not boring at all

I love the concept; but, the puzzles don’t seem to be getting more challenging. I’m doing the expert level and still able to complete them in less than 5 minutes.

Good game for short break. Different levels of difficulty makes it challenging and fun. The only frustrating thing is it closes the screen way too fast when you complete the game. I don’t get to see how long it took me to complete the game. It needs to pause at least three seconds. It closes instantly.

I'd give this terrific game a five star without hesitation were it not for the terrible ad one is forced to watch to get a hint. Royal Match is not only a tired old game, but the ad is very long and with a very irritating man braying about how much he loves it. Good grief ... it's been around for years and is a dreadful game.
Be fair and drop this ad .. the others are tolerable so the excuse that you "need" this ad to support your Cross Math game is ridiculous. Use the others instead!

I love how challenging this game is. It gets the gears in my brain working - plus there are equations/combos I never would’ve thought of!

However, I have two problems with MathPuzzleGames :

1. What do I spend the coins on? I’ve searched all over MathPuzzleGames and MathPuzzleGames ’s entry here in the store and yet, I can’t find anything that says what you can spend coins on. So for now, I’ll just collect them.

2. The excessive and lengthy ads are getting annoying. I usually don’t mind ads but it’s gotten ridiculous! For one thing, they’re often longer than each game. Especially when you have to watch the full 1 minute “here’s what you can do in this game app” but then have to wait another 15 seconds of just a screenshot with the game’s app store entry popping up be fore the X to leave the ad appears. Also, what’s the point of having the “skip ad” option after a few seconds if you still have to wait before the X to leave appears? For the 3x coins ads, I sometimes have to watch a second ad just to get the bonus. Not to mention that after I’m given the 30 coins, ANOTHER AD IMMEDIATELY STARTS! As I stated, I usually don’t mind ads and I get why you have them, but the length and amount is ridiculous. If possible, please fix this.

I love this game for the practice you don’t realize you’re doing because it’s fun and challenging. The only flaw in my opinion is it’s lack of arithmetic function selection. No matter what difficulty you play, all four functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) are used utilized, limiting gameplay to fourth grade and above.

The game is fun. My little sister uses MathPuzzleGames all the time and boom after every single puzzle adds. Usually I don’t mind adds but these adds are the complete same. I like interactive adds but since they keep repeating I can do them with my eyes closed! To add on you have to watch it and then have to wait for the X button to show. Most of the time the adds on the X don’t show. All in all, this game is really fun but I think they can cut down in adds.

Updated: developer responded to my review and I have noticed a favorable change in the ads. Seem to be less frequent and quicker to skip through. Updating score to 4 stars for now!

I played a few rounds, and the game itself is rather fun. However, it seems very difficult to get out of the ads and back to the game again. If the ads are shortened or give an easier option to skip through then I’ll fine it another try

I always want to open a chest, and you have to complete 20 puzzles first. It takes some time to complete the expert levels , and sometimes even the hard ones! I think that maybe this game could do less levels to complete to open a chest or make it give you a chest when you pay 5 coins in the game . Also think about little kids who want to play the game doing easy or medium mode . They might take a long time to get a chest unlocked because you have to play 20 times! In this game , sometimes when u open up the game, it just closes it right away . But it helps you learn math because it can make u learn division, addition, subtraction, and multiplication! To me it’s a great game otherwise the problems.

I personally like this game however, you won’t be able to win certain sets because the answers they give you are wrong. I have tried the same problem set 5 times due to them not changing it to a new one when I requested one and still no change.

The ad for the game said no ads. But you do have watch ads. We need to start holding these people accountable for their false advertising. I don’t mind ads. I just don’t like being lied to. False advertising is illegal.

The game is okay. Dragging the numbers needs work though because it does no work well. Sometimes you’ll try to drag a number and it will put it in the wrong spot. It also doesn’t show accurately where you’re dragging it.

The game is fun overall if it weren’t for a few things that hold it back

Like many reviewers, I enjoy playing these math games very much! However, the advertisement situation is getting out of hand and it’s affecting enjoyment of game play!!

When tapping “continue,” too often tapping the (x) to exit the advertisement, my browser to “purchase” the product is accessed. Going in and out of the game several times before the ad was stopped and game play available to resume.

Lately, after completing a game, I do not have the option to “continue “ and view shortened ads. There is only the option of the “ad claim x 3” option. This dramatically slows game play and exponentially decreases my enjoyment of the game. I have tried closing out of the game and/or shutting down my device to try to reset the “continue” for shorter ads option with no luck.

This cross math game is a must-play for math lovers! The puzzles are diverse and creative, and the game mechanics are flawless. I love how it keeps me engaged and entertained, and I always learn something new about math.

If you are a older person and are looking for something to keep you sharp, MathPuzzleGames is KILLER! If you are interested in logic, proportion, numbers and overall self improvement, I bet you didn’t find this game just the thing to do it. There are all kinds of ways to play it to keep you challenged and engaged, even while watching TV or other distractions. If you can, skip the ads and buy a few hints, if you’re slow like me at 73 years old, but I was slow to begin with!

I never rate games. I’ve been struggling to find games that I can enjoy without feeling like I’m being scammed. So many deluge you with purchases or ads. This game is far better. I’ve been playing this game for a few months now. I don’t go in for anything fancy. I chose medium difficulty and don’t really go for tourneys or competing against anyone. I just want to relax and do a bit of math. After each game comes an ad. Very reasonable. It’s relaxing, and no stress.

I absolutely love this game. It is indeed a great way to pass the time, especially when in the process of waiting for someone or something. It allows me to have a bit of fun, while also sharpening my wits via the critical thinking skills this game requires. Definitely tackling two birds with one stone! Thanks for creating it!

This game helps me get all sorts of different equations which include different subjects addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and helps with homework! For adults and kids it’s a way to exercise your brain and get thinking! I recommend this game for homework and brain exercising! Let’s go math! 🤩

My phone got super hot and it sucked my battery away. I suspect they are using this game to collect all the data from my phone, can’t think of any other reason such a simple game concept would heat my phone like that.

I enjoy brain games and these puzzles are great! I realize this is a free game and ads are necessary to keep it free. However, some of the ads are excessively long. One, in particular, is a minute long followed by another 30 seconds. I would almost rather pay for MathPuzzleGames than to have to endure this much advertising. That said, I love the puzzles!

This game could EASILY rate 5+stars but has way too many LONG ads. I urge the developers to limit the ads as well as their duration! Other than that, this is a great challenge!

This game makes you think. I was never very good at math you have to write down. But I can get through the medium puzzles quite quickly.

My arithmetic is improving by playing this fun and interesting game. I like that I can choose the level of difficulty. Sometimes I like to drill easier problems, other times I like to challenge myself to puzzle out more difficult problems. Very fun and very entertaining way to improve my arithmetic. plus I like the coins can be spent on hints to alleviate frustration when stuck.

This game is challenging, but fun. I love this game and it is so fun for all ages. you can do anything it just gets harder and harder but you’re always come past. It is so fun I really think you should try it and download it now if you think, but that’s what I think about it, thank you

I downloaded MathPuzzleGames yesterday, it’s the game it was advertised to me as, there are adds but I’ve yet to get one in the middle of playing a board, my only complaints would be that I would like to have a way to note possible answers which as far as I’ve seen there isn’t, and the controls could be better but they’re not horrible.

A very enjoyable game that one wouldn’t regret having on their device. It is fairly challenging, because the difficulty level is well regulated according its label, and can take a while to complete when set to the highest one. However, I highly recommend it if you are willing to give a fair challenge to your brain.

Math is something that I have to use often in my work life and usually put it off until the last minute.
I started playing this game and it has made me enjoy math. Even more surprising and exciting is the fact that yesterday I was called upon to do several calculations in my head.
Not only was I able to do it, I did it so fast that the employee that I was helping seemed mildly shocked.
After years of trying to avoid math, I am finally embracing the opportunity to make my life better with it.

This game is one of the best games I have ever encountered. It helps me thing better, and it makes me smarter! I really do recommend getting this game, and the best part, the only time an ad will pop up is when you want an extra life. I absolutely love this game! But one thing, I do wish that everyone reading this will get this game. There are no problems ever, and really no ads! Please get this game if you do not already have it! It is the best!

Just got the game today. I Have tried many brain games and can say that fast forward on ads is perfect plus (so far) ads start muted. Excellent!! Thank you for a very playable and challenging game. I will play for awhile to make sure I’m addicted to the play (likely) and I’ll buy the ad free version. Why? Someone at this game company has shown that they care about players and do not abuse them with ads that just peeve you to the point of just deleting MathPuzzleGames and moving on. I highly recommend this game as good playable ad based games are few and far between! Congrats from me!

Love the math puzzles. The game is smooth, and please pay attention to the order of operation, multiplication and division come first than addition and subtraction. I think many of us would make the mistake.

I’m 64 years old and these puzzles are very challenging at working my brain cells. I do the expert level because the others were too easy. They are not as simple as it seems. One that was really really hard took me 3 1/2 hours to complete but very satisfying when I did! Just don’t like pop up ads but I can get around them. Also instructions on what the coins are for would be helpful

Two days after leaving a review about app crashes, the developers released an update that fixed the crashes. This could be a coincidence, but a few other reviews mention how active the development team is in fixing issues and refining MathPuzzleGames . Super cool!

It would be neat to have more milestone awards to try and get (like the daily puzzle trophies, but for different difficulties / etc). Also, I would love to be able to use my coins or graduation caps to buy different skins for the puzzles or permanently unlock new features / ways of playing / skins. Just a suggestion! I'm a new daily player and adore the function of MathPuzzleGames.

I enjoy the game by immensely. However when you select a number to play they are usually unresponsive. I have had to touch them as many as six times to get a response.

In think that cross math is a great game and can get you brain working. It also is a great way to improve you math, however I don’t like that we have to watch very long ads to get a hint. I think that we should pay virtual coins on the the game for the hints. I know that somehow we need ads so I think for more coins should be where the ads come in. Also please don’t judge this is just my opinion. Thanks!

I have waited a long time for a math game. This is it.

I love this. It’s challenging without being impossible to finish a puzzle.
But I really would like the option to purchase and do away with ads. Hope that is in the near future. I never inform others about game apps I use. But this one is the exception, as I’ve forwarded MathPuzzleGames info to about 2 dozen friends.

Nice to mix in a math game with many of the word games. It has good levels to choose from! Nice to use my brain without a calculator!

I am fighting dementia. I have used games to help with other cognitive functions but needed one with math. This is great!

This isn’t just a mindless game. One must use math skills learned decades ago, and put them to good use. Skill levels make one feel accomplished and ready for the next level. I love this game.

This is a great little game to help my 8 year old grandson keep some math skills sharp during the long summer break from school. And I enjoy the harder levels myself!

Can play this game for hours. Really forces you to think about number relationships. Many levels to work up your skills…

As a Sudoku supporter, I was glad to see this new challenge using not just numbers, but also including a variety of math operations. Truly an enjoyable game that sharpens the mind when played.

This is a challenging game, just what I wanted to help exercise my 65 year old brain in a way that is different from word games. The ads are not too intrusive like so many other games, so thank you for that.

By far this is the most useful and entertaining app I have seen in a long time. Keeps the mind working, gets me in a state of calm and concentration. Thank you so much for creating MathPuzzleGames. I consider it a perfect example of constructive informative useful educational and entertaining applications. Even when I need a break from work it is not wasting my time it gives me a good brain practice that helps me unwind and re focus when done. Much respect to the developers. 😎👍

The games itself are nice but I have never seen these many ads in an app to use for free before. Even if you click something by mistake you are slapped with a 30-45 seconds ad. It’s good for people who have a lot of time in hand. I understand they need to make money, but there has to be a balance which MathPuzzleGames seems to have crossed. I will not be using MathPuzzleGames often and will not recommend it to anyone in my circle. Plenty of mental mathematic gaming apps out there.

Finally a game to stimulate my mind in an intelligent way. I am old school so I don’t need the games with cartoon characters. Just give me old school mental challenges that enhance my overall intelligence. Love this game.

I really like this game except for the amount of ads. Would really like to be able to pay to get rid of the ads. Otherwise it just gets to be too much work.

Overall, this is a great quality game. The fact that this game doesn’t have many ads, and it’s not as mindless as many brain puzzle mobile games is why it deserves 5 stars.

It’s fun friendly I love the game I’m nine years old and I can still solve aHard problem Should try it’s really fun also if you want your children to do mass in there on the fourth or fifth or third grade you should have them try it

I downloaded this game a few days ago. I always loved working with numbers. This hits the spot. I can’t stop playing it. I like that there are different levels of difficulty. I have been using the medium level. Will eventually up it. I don’t mind the ads too much with one exception - Royal Match. It is long and noisy. Very annoying. Hope you can eliminate that one.

If you like numbers, this is the game for you. I've been playing it for quite awhile now and I haven't had any problems at all.
Looking forward to it becoming challenging.

I started out with the hard level and found a challenge - so I challenged my dean’s list grandkids and I win every time. Thank you electronic calculators and computers for bringing me serious respect!

It is a good game for the brain! I like it better than some others and my new fave over sudoku. I hope it’s okay to say that because I still do like sudoku but this one is terrific! It doesn’t take all day and after you figure it, it’s done! I think I will hold onto this one for a while! Thank you!

Just started playing this game a few days ago. I really am enjoying it. It really makes you think, depending on the level you select.

My 9 year old never liked math until we started on this program. Now he LOVES it! On the Easy setting there is just enough to challenge him without discouraging him with errors!

I enjoy figuring out these puzzles. It’s helping me to remember my math facts. (Turn off WiFi. The adds don’t appear). I’m in my 70’s and enjoy the challenge!

It’s not as easy as you might think. I like the way the colors respond when you have an incorrect number in a slot or the correct number in the slot. I play every morning before I leave the bedroom. It gets my mind stimulated for the day I love it.

Challenge yourself to a wonderful experience in using your brain. Starting from easy to expert. Don’t give up, think! You can do it.

Free version ads can very long and annoying, if you can’t find their 5 second “skip” buttons

I was playing the cross math app and it asked for my review. I wanted to give it 5stars, however somehow when I hit the star, it was the first one, and it didn’t give me an opportunity to make sure it was 5. I have just started using it, however, and enjoying it very much.
