Spanish by Nemo Reviews

I've been using Nemo to learn this app in the car on the way to work. Initially used the free version until I learned all the words then bought the full version. After 8 weeks my vocabulary is getting stronger and I can understand more this app at work with coworkers that are bilingual and only this app speaking. Although I have learned basic phrases, Spanish does not teach typical responses to phrases, so I get stumped by every conversation I start when the other person's response is unknown to me. Spanish also does not provide sentence structure, verb tenses or conjugations so knowing the word may not make sense when trying to put them together to make a sentence. I would like to see Spanish add a typical response feature that can analyze the student's response as correct or close to correct. Also a sentence structure building feature and flash cards that show a picture of the object or activity and then force the student to say the correct name, word or phrase as a response. Since I drive an hour both ways to work the ideal app must be hands free. So far that hand free operation of Nemo is excellent and that is why I use it over Duo Lingo.

I am using it on the IPhone 6s and it all works very smoothly. I thought I should try and exercise my mind maybe by trying to learn a second language, like this app. This little app just keeps me motivated. Instant feedback, how quick or slow you want to go, Spanish gives you complete control. I highly recommend Spanish!

I wanted to refresh my this app because it's been a while since I used it. I like the play back feature in Spanish but it doesn't tell you how accurate you are, so unless you know the nuances of the pronunciation, that's not even that helpful. There's no way to test out of the basic stuff. I took four years of this app, I don't need to be taught "hola". Possibly helpful for the most beginner of beginners who doesn't know how to introduce themselves and ask for the restroom. Language softwares that even bother to teach "hola" actually make me really suspicious. I guess I'll be sticking with duo lingo because it actually has conversation practice now! Memorization without usage is pointless. Don't waste your time.

I’ve been using all the Nemo apps for this app, Greek and Chinese. They are easy to use and offer a great variety of vocabulary. I just need casual greetings etc. and the ap more than takes care of that. Two weeks before I travel I just brush up and feel like I am not completely lost.

I have been using Spanish to keep my pronunciation sharp and to practice words I do not use often. Very few people speak this app around me! Is there an update for Spanish?
Aaaaaaannnndd I have a question no one seems to be able to answer.
I am divorced. Do I go back to using Señorita or do I continue to use Señora? Thank you?

Works well in the car. My only quibble would be a setting to legnthen the amount of time the this app phrases are shown on screen. Even a second or two would help on longer phrases.
Overall, easy to use and good pace to increase your vocabulary.

This is an awesome app!! I just love it if you like things that relate to flash cards where you go over everything over and over this is for you!! Now if you not as dedicate to use your time and practice then this is not for you! This is the best this app app I have had yet!!

I have had this for a couple months. I really like it, it works perfect have no problem with it, worth the money. I can play automatically when Iam in car driving so I can here the words or do it manually. It meets my expectations Thank You

This is a great app....easy to follow. You are able to pull out a set of words to learn each day.....please add more to the listing. It would be well worth the cost to get more....Once again this is a really good app for learning this app. I use this in conjunction to my studies.

I have tried for years to learn this app in lots of different programs and apps and computer software and this has been by far the best and easiest way to learn this app! I can remember it then or I can repeat it better it's just all-around great

Wow, this is an awesome this app App! I recently found and installed Spanish, and from day one I knew this was Spanish for me. You can save favorite words and phrases, along with using your microphone to speak into. Just a wonderful App that I recommend to anyone wanting to learn this app!!

I wanted an app I could listen to while driving or doing other tasks, and this has been extremely helpful. I'm using Memrise as an interactive app, but this has helped me really nail down the formal and informal pronouns. Very useful.

I think Spanish is amazing! I’m in 6th grade this year and next year I’m taking this app, but I didnt know anything. I downloaded Spanish after getting Duolingo and it’s Amazing! My only problem is it doesn’t provide sentence structure and there are no quizzes to see if you are improving, rather that that it’s great!

Love my this app app I’m learning quicker than I would if I didn’t have it tried books and they never worked Would recommend to anyone and I am 69 years old

I learned this app in high school, however, that was Over 20 years ago. Nemo is helping me get back in track. Actually I didn’t forget as much as I thought. When you snooze you lose.

A good app for learning and reviewing vocabulary and pronunciation. Comes with practice tests and optional reminders to do your daily study/review. Voices are clearly recorded and I've found no errors in the material so far. I recommend it as a tool for reviewing this app.

1. separate volume controls for this app and English speakers. (For some reason the English is way louder than the this app)
2. Control for how often new words are added. (I just use it hands free and it is just giving me too many new words. I would like to slow it down just a bit.)

Memo is muy Bueno. I play it all day, learning new words and perfecting my accent. Helps me put up with traffic and waiting in line. Useful words, great methodology and terrific teachers. Best online language course I've tried

I love Spanish to learn any language all day everyday if I want. You get new words daily & you can use the voice recorder to make sure you are saying it correctly. It's great!

Need to learn how to say words and it's very difficult for me! I also need to be able to start spelling the word for communication with someone. Google translator does not work as well as I thought and it really make large mistakes that can easily be taken out of context. Spanish makes sure you complete understand what each phrase or word means so that you do not butcher sentences. I looked though a lot of apps and this one is truly amazing!! I want to say that you for giving so many options to speak, write, and learn! Very well laid out and so easy to use. Thank you again for Spanish!!
