The description is describing the Pro version. This is the Lite version. It only has 15 birds. Complete waste of time.

If this free version is supposed to entice me to buy the full version, it ain't working. All you get is a choice of some pretty bird pictures with no info or a trip directly to the page where you can buy the $12 version. No thanks. It's gone.

Contrary to the previous comment, the app is available in English (also French), but you have to work through the settings menus in the default German to find the selection. The free Lite version is basically a demo for the fee version. With only 15 species, it lets you try the interface but is useless for bird identification. If you tap on any but the 15 sample species you get a prompt to upgrade to the fee version. It doesn't seem to have range maps or other features available on other apps. It does have audio of songs and nice photos and links to online sources. The full version may be OK for novice birders but won't satisfy more experienced ones.
