2 months agoRECORDING ISSUE i use a streaming service, fubo, that when i record golf if the name of the match is the same it will only record 1 time. in general that is not a problem. the issue is when ie ryder cup or solheim cup that have morning play and then afternoon play that are different on the tv schedule they are listed as the same so the streaming service only records the morning and not the afternoon. differentiation in name is needed. ie solheim day 1 morning, solheim day 1 afternoon. anything to make the different episodes some that the computer can understand. thank you,

9 months agoI am watcher of the Golf Channel but I am surprised at the avoidance of the LIV players. Is the Golf Channel a subsidiary of the PGA or is it independent ? The Open is for the best players regardless of which association they belong to. It’s been difficult to watch the non game programming because of the prejudice shown against LIV .

10 months agoI'm not getting all your info on my tv. The left side scores are cut off and also the right side. Very frustrating. I have a 43 inch tv. Maybe my tv is too small. Been happening for about a week. I've called comcast and also toshiba.

11 months agoFrequent audio problem with your LPGA coverage: A constant loud "white noise" sound like rushing water or a plane flying over. What is that? Very annoying!

1 year agoI'm watching your golf channel interview with Jim Nance and Jay monihan - an in depth interview prob about liv- but you provide no close captioning, - some of us need the cc feature- for various reasons- please add it if you can- thanks!

Short version: I accepted the previous version’s redo of the presentation of the app grudgingly thinking I’d get accustomed to it. Now an update comes in and the only layout allowed is portrait. Into the dumper the app goes; I’ll use the web page or another app instead. Long version: I keep the Golf Channel app in my iPad dock as it is, but now was, my go-to golf news app. I also use my iPad exclusively in landscape mode, unless I have no choice for an app I need. The version that was in place for years was, to me, logical, easy to navigate, and gave me the info I needed in the format I liked. Then the n-1 version came out, the articles and sections were redone to the point where it took some effort to find what previously easily was accessed. I thought it was a change I’d get used to over time. Then the current version, #477, came out, and, despite the splash screen presenting in landscape mode, once the content is filled, the screen flips to portrait mode, with no options I can find to override that in the settings panel. Bottom line, the app will leave my dock, the app will be put in the dust bin and I’ll find my golf news elsewhere. It was fun while it lasted.

The new version of this app is disorganized, almost chaotic - it is just impossible to navigate to scores and stories in a logical manner. Who thought this was a good idea? Can I give this mess zero stars? Please, take this back to the developer. Hurry. After living with the V 4.7.1 upgrade for a couple of weeks, I can say that the Golf Channel App has joined the infamous CBS Sports - NCAA basketball “Coverage Gap” as obnoxious and disrespectful to golf fans everywhere (CBS uses the time to refresh “Sir Nick’s” makeup, I guess). The CBS issue can be avoided by finding coverage elsewhere on the web. As for the Golf Channel App, all I have to do is hit “Delete” - Bye-bye! Ratings have gone from 4.1 out of 5 before the updated app to less than 3, now 2.9 out of 5. I expect the ratings will sink further from this low level. If I wanted to follow every golfer’s social media or pictures of Paige and Paulina and Natalie and every other attractive woman who adds little to the sport, I could follow them on Facebook or Instagram or who cares what other place - it’s not the information or views I come to the Golf Channel app to obtain. It truly is time to go. Wake up, Golf Channel!

Not sure what’s happening with your golf show production but I’m very disappointed. Number and length of commercials has exceeded anything I’ve ever watched - even the Super Bowl. The split screen is a disaster. The overall standing isn’t going to change for two/three hours but it takes almost 20% of the split screen and you won’t show any information on the match your trying to show on the split screen. Somebody in your organization needs to make some major changes with the overall focus on what you think the viewers would like to watch or see. Please take a serious look at changing your focus or I’m going to delete your apps and stop watching your telecast.
