Used to rely on this to test our audio equipment. But the ads are all over the place now. Lately, it doesn’t work with some of our connected Bluetooth speakers. There are so many other apps now that it doesn’t make any sense to use this one anymore. It was good at the beginning. Not anymore. Too bad.

You have to pay to get any of the features. Should just not be shady and be upfront about the $.99; I would have paid it. But since you were shady about I'll get something else instead.

There seems no way to increase the volume or amplitude which a glaring design error. The sign out selection is impossible to access long enough to actually sign out. Selection of controls seems awkwardly designed and counter intuitive.

Every time you do anything it plays an ad. Start a tone play an ad. Stop a to e play an ad. Minimize app and come back another ad. Garbage takes 5 minutes to play anything g because of all the ads

I wanted to have an app for testing speaker system response, I thought Tonegenerator would do it. Seemed ok at first, but without paying to unlock, Tonegenerator is really slim and only has one function - play a tone. Then suddenly a full screen ad took over that I couldn't seem to close without just terminating Tonegenerator . That's a deal breaker for me. I'll find a better app.

I use it to demonstrate resonance in an air column in 9th grade physics. Very convenient.

Slider makes it very easy to scroll through tones quickly. Very much like the subtle frequency changes you can do (can change it as little as 0.1 Hz) Only thing that would make Tonegenerator easier to use, is making the play/stop button bigger. Otherwise, just what I was looking for!

One of the practical applications I've found is to demonstrate to people what I hear as tinnitus. I will set it to the frequency and amplitude that I hear and people are amazed at it.

I use the tones in Tonegenerator for when I'm sleeping at night and I've gotten better sleep ever since. Definitely worth purchasing!

I love Tonegenerator the only problem that I have and probably everybody else has is that you cannot find tune the frequency that you want the sliding button you guys made it’s not easy to get the perfect frequency number that you’re looking for if you can put a manual up and down button that will be amazing please try to fix this is an awesome app thank you in advance.

I use it to teach people to hear God at a frequency near 11,000 Hz. Turn off the generator and it still is there, according to your faith, as Jesus said. That removes limits that we are accustomed to placing on God God activates the Pineal Gland which Jacob discusses in the Bible when wrestling with God all night. The City of Pineal, or Jacob’s ladder can be dialed in at around 11,000 Hz. Study the Bible this way for more WISDOM and gifts from our Heavenly Father.
