LightX : Background Remover Reviews

I have to say, I absolutely love LightX. If there was one app for all of the photo apps that you would ever need, it's this one. Although, I do find some imperfections within LightX . When using the "Blend" feature (after I have merged two photos) I attempt to erase the overlying image, only to find that the erased outline doesn't come out as precise as I would like. Maybe this could be improved upon by adding a zoomed-in, magnifying window to this Blend feature? Another few drawbacks that I have noticed: the brushes are sometimes not small enough to receive "detailed" precision (but this can also be due to a lack of an increased zoom.. which should be updated to zoom as close as we would like. Also, when the magnifying glass appears when I'm attempting to whiten teeth (among other edits), the magnifying glass will not show any changes that I make in real-time, making it hard for me to see what I'm actually changing in the picture (as my thumb is in the way)--> please update these features? Preciseness is the only aspect of LightX that I would wish to be improved upon. this app has set a new engineering standard for all photo apps! That being said, I have deleted every other photo editing tool on my phone (save for my stock camera app). Keep up the hard work!

I love LightX! It has so many features, and new ones are added throughout the year. Once you learn what each feature does, you can create some really cool images. I love the background feature because it doesn’t look overly fake. Each feature is easy to use and they give you very clear instructions to help guide you. For $3 it’s totally worth it. I’ve never had any of the issues others mention with LightX crashing, it always works well for me. I would highly recommend LightX

This is an awesome photo editing app for amateurs like me. I love the quick instructional video before you go to use a feature for the first time. I use LightX to edit clothing photo shoots for our online retail business and it works great!

One suggestion for improvement would be to allow multiple undos instead of undoing all the edits with one click. Sometimes I'll make a small mistake, but when I press undo it takes away all the edits I just did and I have to start over again.

After reading many positive reviews I bought LightX . I found the cutout tool to be very hit and miss. Mostly miss unfortunately. For some reason I can't zoom when doing the cutout which makes it practically impossible on a phone sized device with anything not large in the frame. Maybe it's better on an iPad. "Retouch" does better at the cutout and healing brush type of tools I've found. In summary, it works sometimes, then it's great, other times it's just easier to use photoshop.

Lastly the tutorials get really annoying. It's pretty straightforward to use LightX because it's like many others. The tutorials should be opt-in not mandatory.

I have used LightX quite a bit. I like to use it to tweak some of the colors autostyles in other programs use so the are more to my liking. I also love the blend function and many of the effects that have been released thus far. I agree that a little more precision would be nice. Also a redo button would be helpful, especially when I undo something I didn’t mean to. A way to zoom both layers in the blend function would help with editing. That said, I am sill using LightX all the time.

I use to love this application but not so sure anymore. This new update is not user friendly like the one before this. I loved them old virgin and i wold bye it again if its available.
Otherwise i use LightX for all my Photo shops is just a little bit difficult to do what I used to do at ease before this update. It takes a little bit of work and to know what to do to mix the pictures and Photoshop them
bottom line Developers please please make it user friendly like it used to.

LightX is really nice and really perfect to use when wanting to crop something out or take something out and add to it I would really appreciate a video one where you could edit your video and crop and take out any background you don't want you clearly care about your app and the people who use it and I would like to say that doing this video thing would jump the roof and rate it even better then a 5 and a half

It has everything I need in order to manipulate, create, edit, add title photo, title styles, delete, change size, color, skin tones, fast touch Editor, transparency, dissolve and so much more! It’s just wonderful what I can do with it, just with imagination I can do anything with it! Thanks, love your luxury logo on my iPhone plus looks so much beautiful, you guys take care every detail and please keep it getting better according to the new releases of the new technology, thanks again 😃👍

A very useful app that has many features from creatively adding effects or editing colors in a picture. LightX can also blend pictures together and add text. I would even add a couple extra arrow heads to the "color mix" to blend better, more presets in the "blend" and a color wheel to the "filters, retro" tab. (Modifying the filters further will be the next step) Overall, the selfie feature proves to be highly overrated!

I have been using LightX for about a week before the update and I was in love with it and would’ve gave it a 5 star rating but after the recent update I cannot complete any of my photo edits. So once this bug is figured out I will be able to give LightX a better rating. The issue I am having is when I add a background from my photo library it never finishes loading it stays on the loading screen. LightX preset backgrounds work fine but not when you go to add your personal backgrounds. Please update and fix please and thank you.

As someone who takes photographs of my action figures with app helps add another dimension to pictures. This is my first experience with photoshop & found LightX very easy useful. The video tutorials are a huge encouragement to try new techniques. I found myself having tons of fun taking pics & playing around with the backdrop, lighting etc. So glad to report that this isn't a waste of money & only motivates me to take more pictures.

I've been using LightX for a while now, and it was my go to app for all things photo editing. However, in the past update the color shade adjusting button has disappeared and has not been replaced or added to another feature within LightX . Without this feature it's very difficult to edit photos with only their preset filters that are provided. Please bring it back!!!!!! With those features LightX is an easy 5 star. With out that fundamental feature LightX is no longer the premiere photo editing app.

LightX is good and offers a lot of features that are desirable for a mobile editing app. An issue I have with LightX is its problem with precision. I found myself getting very annoyed using the select and erase options when editing hoar color in selfie. it would randomly make the whole background a certain color or ye "brush" or lines you drew with fingers were too big which resulted in me erasing a lot of what I made. It would be great in a future update if they made an option to thin or thicken the lines in selfie editing or any other editing.

Similar tools and familiar interface as photoshop. Of course,Photoshop is the standard, but for a phone App this is pretty amazing. I've already switched faces on an image. It is totally worth the cost for those that never save or post a photo before editing them. I also like the focus shift also, though there is still one App I prefer for depth of field adjustments and burning and dodging, but this one is still my new #1.

Not one to usually write reviews but i’ve been using LightX now for a few years and it has been everything I needed and more. I was looking for an app to be able to edit out funny pictures of my friends and LightX is a mini photoshop in the palm of my hands. Would totally recommend for anyone thinking of purchasing; easily the best investment i’ve ever made on an app.

This is one of the greatest photo editing apps ever created! Especially with cutout features and blending all in one app. But there is one issue with the cutout feature, the cutout is very choppy and cannot get the precision cutout that I was hoping for like in the screenshots of LightX. Please fix this because I really want to use this feature but just can't right now. LightX deserves a 5 star rating but the cutout needs to be fixed, great job and thanks!

When I am cutting out an image I want to get it exact but it corrects to what it thinks I should select and not what I selected if I want something that's not part of a big object it will come out very ruff. I do also wish I could skip cut out when I have a picture I just want to overlay I wish I could just click next or at least have a select all button

I hardly ever write reviews on anything, but I'm just so thrilled with LightX I can't help but share my joy in finding it! I'm a professional photographer & most often feel I need to go into photoshop etc to make my iPhone images look the caliber I'm desiring. The tools given here are so broad & so user friendly...I'm thrilled! Thank you, thank you!

I understand I gave it 4 stars. The reason is, even though it is a freaking awesome app, it lack certain functionality. For instance, I can only fully edit one image at a time. Like changing the color on two objects. Other than that, I feel that it is better than abode illustrator for the phone. Thanks for creating LightX . I hope to see some improvements to make it even better!

I’ve been using LightX for about 2 years now and it’s been great. The cutting out precision is better than any other app. The only problem is when cutting out several things and putting it on one picture the picture’s quality constantly degrades. It gets blurry and looks terrible. Overall, a great app but this one problem is brining it from five stars to four.
