Do not waste your money google maps does an amazing job. Search using public transit option. I used google maps in London,Paris, madrid and Barcelona flawlessly. I wish I could get my money back.
App seems to work for Madrid Proper, but has no info on outlying rail stations or how to get to the Metro
You need a street map!!!

MadridMetro is great but there have been new or renamed stations recently so please come back to this.
In conjunction with the maps app this was so easy and useful.
The only problem was it wood freeze and I couldn't get back to maps.
The information, however, was accurate and easy to follow.
Even with the glitch I recommend it.

No problems using MadridMetro. I had to remember to use it while I still had Wifi, but that wasn't MadridMetro 's fault.
