I've had this product for about two years. I would have given it 4 or 5 stars two years ago. However, since loading it on my new iPhone it has been worse than bad. This product has actually cost me to lose opportunities because it randomly deletes contacts. People or business numbers you've had in your contact list for years will all of the sudden disappear from your contacts. Text history that goes back to the dawn of time will suddenly appear as simply a number without a name or contact info associated.
Lest you think your troubles end their, going back to iPhone or Google contacts will result in numerous orphaned contacts. It's a nightmare. I'm not sure where things went so awry but my advice is to steer week clear.

I downloaded ContactsSync thinking that I would be able to sync my contacts onto Google Contacts. I was able to sync my contacts onto ContactsSync but it wouldn’t sync them to Google Contacts on the Google website. Since that didn’t work I didn’t want my contacts on ContactsSync anymore so I decided to delete all the contacts from ContactsSync . However whenever I went to my phone to look for some contacts I couldn’t find them. I went back to ContactsSync and saw that whenever I would delete the contact on ContactsSync it would delete it the contact on my phone. I would think that ContactsSync wouldn’t automatically set it to be that way considering I would maybe want to keep the contacts on my phone but not ContactsSync . All in all I was very disappointed thankfully I put some of those contacts onto the Google Contacts from Google. I will not use ContactsSync again.

Please respect the formats of both Google Contacts and Apple iOS-based Contacts. I do not appreciate having to go into my Apple iOS Contacts and have to clean up the mess that Google Contacts Sync makes from imposing Google’s changes to last name and Company, for example. I debate each time I use Google Sync whether it would just be easier for me to change the info I wanted updated, changed or added in both places manually. I flip a coin and am usually happier with manually updating. But, then Google updates ContactsSync and I try again. Probably getting to the end of that approach and will just manually make changes in both places and Alize that Google and Apple are unwilling to put down their swords in favor of pleasing their customers. Same kind of warring formats for calendars, too. Bummer.

Easy to use and saves lots of time. I have all my contacts in my multiple Google email accounts specially the email addresses with their names to compose emails easily and look professional. I have an important request. I have multiple Google email accounts and I’d like to set up all of them on your app to have all new contacts synced automatically at once in the background and in the Standard/Auto modes without manually signing out from an account and then signing in another. Also in the event of duplicates, would you please add a tab to show possible duplicated contacts split between different Google email accounts separately with the ability to edit the merges or create separate contacts when needed? Thx a lot…

Contacts sync has saved me enormous amounts of time. Originally I used it to keep my iPhone contacts synchronized with my Google contacts so that I could continue to use groups. More recently, they have added the ability to synchronize between two Google accounts, and I have been using it to keep my business and personal contacts synchronized (limiting that synchronization to just the two or three Gmail labels that I want to keep in both sets of contacts). Fabulous app!

I could not get my 1500 google contacts to show up on my iPhone. I followed the directions on both the google and Apple websites, and even spent an hour on the phone with Apple tech support, all to no avail. This is an obvious, glaring problem that the “geniuses” at google and Apple need to solve. In the meantime ContactsSync works like a charm. It synced my gmail apps to my iPhone without a hitch and very quickly. Maybe the best $5 I ever spent. Kudos to the developer!!

I don’t write reviews often, however, I DO GIVE CREDIT WHERE ITS DUE! ContactsSync is exactly what I needed. I have tried others before this and nothing comes close to ContactsSync and all the features you get with it for a very reasonable price-for life! It is always accurate and quick. No confusion or glitches at all! Organizes all my contacts and accounts just the way I want and NEED them done. I can set it up any way I want because ContactsSync has so many options! Thank you for creating a wonderful app and for making the price for it also so reasonable! I definitely recommend ContactsSync to anyone who has multiple accounts/contacts that they want to keep perfectly synced and up to date! A++++!!

I was having contacts syncing issues across multiple platforms and came across ContactsSync. I registered for a month, but was so impressed, that I just registered for their lifetime premium service.
I will remember the old days and hassles of sinking contacts but didn’t realize how far solutions like ContactsSync have progressed. In minutes, I was able to sync across four different iOS and Windows platforms. It was intuitive and easy. Well done to these developers.

Have found it very helpful to keep contacts organized and it even keeps your groups/categories as well, which is awesome.

Really like having an option to export contacts as well.

The downside is syncing between devices. If you make changes on your laptop and make changes on your phone there is going to be lost changes or contacts. I suppose this is a hazard in general.

This is less likely to happen if you remember to sync between changes between uses. Changes are made on the laptop BEFORE making changes on the phone or another laptop make sure to sync. Then make new changes. Essentially sync between uses and/or changes. Even doing this I have had lost info.

Nothing is perfect, but this really is a life saver and gets the job done without having 3rd party storage on a cloud, Apple, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. Plus, it's very simple to use and uncomplicated.

Two years ago I switched my phone service from carrier to Google Voice. It was then I found ContactsSync to sync my iPhone contacts with Google Voice. I have had a few issues but nothing I can’t live with. I credit ContactsSync with making/keeping this transition simple, organized and with no extra work on my part. I have no idea all ContactsSync does but I know it’s a lot, especially in making sure contacts in both Google and iPhone stay in sync.

This is a ok app. Dose what it’s supposed to. But any time you use ContactsSync for anything a pop up to rate it comes up. Time after time after time after time. So I’m only rating this 5 stars in hopes the pop up will finally go away.

Well used ContactsSync today and the pop up was again there. So I just thought I would post every time I got the pop up about how I wish it didn’t pop up. I mean I gave you 5 stars. What more do you want? I can’t rate ContactsSync any higher so why do you keep asking me?

Let me start by saying ContactsSync has been outstanding at syncing my gmail contacts. It has saved me so much time and energy when picking up an iPhone for the first time. But even better than ContactsSync which is where far more than the $6.35 with tax is the customer support. This was the first app I purchased and it didn’t go through right probably because of something I did. However the developer stayed in constant contact until everything was figured out. I can’t thank him enough.

I recently switched to an iPhone but was having trouble getting all of my contacts to port over, especially because I have 3 gmail addresses that I use for different things that each have their own set of contacts. ContactsSync worked great for me but I did have to upgrade to the subscription. I was able to log in and out of my various gmail accounts syncing everything to my iCloud. Then I was able to sync my iCloud with my main gmail to make sure I had an additional backup of all of my contacts. Really happy about how easy it was.

I know that many phone services use the Cloud to backup contacts but then you run into the problem needing to buy more Cloud storage to accommodate pictures, videos, or larger files along with your contacts. I found ContactsSync that also syncs my email with my contacts so I can make sure to find the information wherever I want to look. I had to replace my phone and once I got the new phone I downloaded ContactsSync and re-synced my phone with all my groups and contact information in just a few seconds. Great app!

I absolutely love Google contacts sync!It makes it so easy to synchronize my contacts across devices! All you have to do is make sure you’re saving your contacts to your Google account and Tadahhh!!! The only thing I would say that would make this better, and I hope Google pays attention to this, is if there was a way to merge or update duplicate contacts, IN ContactsSync , so that the contact with the most information or recently updated information is preserved and to not have to do that from a desktop through the web.

Surprisingly, IOS does not provide for access to contacts that were imported as vcf cards to Google. They can be seen in the GMAIL WEB client, but not in IOS mail. Also, if you have an imported record with an eror with either product, they do not indicate which one. I was completely trapped by various product limitations.

Needless to say, ContactsSync addressed my concerns quickly and reliably. I also find it useful beyond simply fixing my initial problem. I love the back of feature and synchronization features. Very cool!

Bravo to the development team.

Absolutely awsome app!
After trying a few other apps for syncing my Google contacts, and also messing around with exchange, ContactsSync really stands out as the best.
It is simple to use, synchronized everything flawlessly including groups, and it is lightning fast (my contacts list has several hundred items, and it took seconds to process everything). It also provides good flexibility in deciding what to copy and what to merge (when you need this flexibility), gives you a report exactly what records it intends to sync and how, and allows you to change your mind just before you give the final OK to sync. I can't think of anything that can be improved in ContactsSync.
None of the other "sync" apps that I tried were both fast and able to handle groups accurately.
I installed it both on my ipad running ios6 and iphone 4 running ios5 and both worked perfectly.
And it still works flawlessly on ios8!
Still using it on ios 9 and so far it always works flawlessly.

I have been looking for an app that automatically add my contacts from my google account to my iPhone with ease and finally found it. I had tried several other methods and none of them worked as promised. Bought ContactsSync and it worked correctly the first time with no issues what’s so ever. I added over 1600 contacts to my phone and now they sync back and forth. Now I need to final an app that will do the same thing between my Outlook account and my google account. If I can find that, then I am good between all three programs.

I had my iPhone setup to sync my contacts to iCloud and google. I had to format / reset my iPhone and download all my setting including my contacts from iCloud, but to my surprise lot of my recent contacts were missing on iCloud. They were also not synced to google. Thanks to Apple. Now I have this app App , I would never loose any contacts, it syncs all my contacts to Google and iCloud. I have bought the manual sync package, the only caveat being have to sync manually. I did not want to spend the extra money on automatic sync package for now, but manual option works well for me.

I have attempted to delete multiple contacts. I have deleted them from ContactsSync , from I phone, from google contacts. I have synced and they are deleted from all 3 . The next day with auto synch all of them have been recreated. It is maddening. I emailed their customer support and got no reply. I watched all the videos and FAQS. None of them address how to permanently delete a contact from all contact sites.

Maybe they might respond to this but it have little hope. Don’t buy ContactsSync

More info. Now I am losing contacts I did not delete. They contacted me through Apple and I again used ContactsSync to inquire and get help per their instructions and even gave my phone number no help. DONT BUY ContactsSync

On my first installation, I ended up with over 40,000 contacts in iCloud. That’s not good. It’s slowed down all my email application to a crawl. So ContactsSync works great, but you have to take the right steps, and here they are. First, from your desktop, export your contacts file by going to file/Export/contacts archive. That will be your backup. Next, turn off the synchronization between your desktop contacts app and iCloud from your desktop system preferences/iCloud. There is too much mirroring creating too many duplicates. Next, go to iCloud and delete everything by going to the gear icon in the lower left, clicking select all, selecting delete. Get rid of all your Google contacts duplicates by clicking the duplicates menu item in the left navigation pane. Stop Google from automatically creating contacts from each email by going into settings/create contacts for auto complete. Once your list is pretty clean, you’re finally ready for the next step, which is setting up ContactsSync .

I have used ContactsSync for many years to send out text messages with community announcements. At times I have had issues mostly because syncing is not something for the faint of heart. I have about one hundred groups and I have learned that it sometimes necessary to sync the contacts twice in order to get all the groups synced. I am very happy now to have auto sync. This makes a big difference. Overall I don’t know what I would do without it. I sync between gmail and my iPhone.

This makes it so easy to keep your contacts in sync between multiple devices and Gmail. I have an iPhone, an iPad and use Gmail. ContactsSync "just works". It's that easy. It keeps all three locations in sync with no effort whatsoever. For the small costs for unlimited syncs, and perhaps a few extra $ for the developer, it's a great bargain! You won't be disappointed. I've been using this for at least three years and it has been flawless.

I have a simple strategy. I always add new contacts to my iPhone. Then I use ContactsSync to send those contacts to Gmail on my PC. Finally, I get on my iPad and copy them from my PC down to my iPad. I don't do any merging. Whatever is on my iPhone REPLACES what is on my PC Gmail account, and that REPLACES what is on my iPad. This simple approach works great for me. Of course it means I have to be disciplined and always put new contacts on my iPhone first. I've been doing this for perhaps 3-4 years with 100% satisfaction.
