this app completely revamped Equibase at the end of July here. Equibase is fully functional now, doesn’t crash and has quick access to information. Equibase is sleek, it is intuitive and I already find myself using it more than the old one....which I used almost daily for entries.

Two things I would like to see 1) actual virtual stable integration into Equibase , not just a redirection to the website. 2) results dating back at least a week. For example: today is 7/30, I can only use Equibase to pull results back to 7/27. If they add a calendar feature in the top right where we could select the date we want to go to for results and/or charts I would really have no reason to ever use another source for entries and results.

Great job this app folks. The seems like your first real foray into serious apps. THIS is how you get the younger generation into this game. BRAVO.

- You can’t read the font. They made it SMALL and LIGHT!

- They changed the navigation. HORRIBLE!

You can’t read anything. It’s hard to navigate and use.

Equibase is literally useless. If you can’t read anything, you can’t use Equibase .

Please change it back, or address and fix the font and navigation. Thank you.

- 1 quick navigation issue. When choosing entries from the menu...If it’s Monday and I want Friday’s entires, I have to scroll all the way to Friday. Previously, I would just click on Friday. To me, technology wise, it’s backwards and less efficient. I think everyone would rather click on a day/date, rather than scroll through entries for Tue, Wed & Thu, just to get to Friday’s entries.

I will email this and other examples of navigation issues.

this app was the go to app for quick easy access to racing info. The developers took an easy. quick reference platform and made it complicated and difficult to maneuver through it for the quick info you want. It is another case of App developers trying to validate their jobs by ‘improving’ an App that did not need improving. An example is the Bet Calculator that does not readily respond to the incessant tapping you must do to enter horse numbers.
Equibase developers should have allowed its users to chose Equibase format it users want to use. The users impressed with the new format could use it, while the users who want the old format could use it. When I requested the old format I was dismissed with ‘It no longer exists’.
I took a 5 Star app and now rate it 2 Stars
On the plus side, this app is still the go to app for racing info, albeit more complicated to navigate
Also on the plus side, Equibase developers warned its users not to download the new version, because they realized from the complaints it was no longer user friendly
On the Big Negative side, it’s faithful users of Years and Years, should have been given the choice as to which App version was on their phones

Virtual stable is the crown jewel. That unto itself makes this a 5 star app, wow, and thank you to the evil genius(es) who thought it up and made it happen.

Daily entries. Page 1 with everything you’d get in a basic program at a track and far more info than in a sports page. If you have time to snoop, you can get more detailed info, just gotta familiarize yourself. You can see when they last ran, how they did, compare earnings...in a sortable list.

Results, from most tracks with an added ability to see the detailed race chart.

They post changes. Workouts. And it’s free.

The pop up add issue was brutal and nearly unavoidable. It has long since been fixed. Yes there are pop ups but you do have to click on them to get them.

Don’t bother with Equibase. Video pop up ads are so intrusive and constant that it is impossible to check the entries or results of even one race without interruption. Wildly frustrating. You can try to X out of the ad but it pops back up immediately. Or, you can watch the ad. That doesn’t help either. When the ad ends you are returned to your desired page where you get a glimpse of the content, then the ad pops up again. Over and over and over again. Hey, this app. If you want users to start hating State Farm, keep it up. I’m moving on.

Love Equibase and the data it provides. Great to have everything at my fingertips and they seem to listen to users as they’ve added many of their full site features over the years. It’s really a one stop solution for everything. That said, PLEASE fix the freezing/restart issue. Equibase locks up all of the time and I have to start over. If that was fixed, it’d be easily five star.

I love the new update! The new layout is significantly better than the old one. All my favorite tracks are right at the touch of a button. Great job!

Upgrade...which I mindlessly installed...as do most of us...was a drastic change from the old. I hate it And will not use it. I used the old app for several years. Very easy to quickly navigate and get info. The new one? Not so much.

I feel we should be able to revert to the old app. Until then, Ill be using other apps.

I’ve used the this app app virtually every day for the last 10 years and have loved it, but this new version gets a thumbs down from me 👎🏻. The old version was much easier to navigate and quickly get to the info you were seeking, this new version is not nearly as efficient. DO NOT UPDATE if you are happy with the old version.

I’d love to rate this higher as the info it provides is just what I’m looking for but in the past month, despite updates and deleting and redownlods, it constantly refuses to load when I want to open it. Please, please, please fix it!

This has been my go to racing info app for years. With the new update, you can’t even see the morning line odds on a horse with a longer name! Very much regret installing the update.

Love it thanks. I am a thoroughbred racehorse trainer and rely and use Equibase everyday. Changes, scratched....etc

Can’t view older horses on here, was hoping to use it to watch older videos that won’t allow me to watch them on my phone via the website but Equibase is pretty useless for that

Great info wise but Equibase constantly hangs up on all areas suddenly and then stops working. I’m here though as there’s now real competitor.

Equibase is published by the this app Company, who hold a virtual monopoly on North American horse racing data. this app has not slouched though.

The entries section provides the basic program info for every track in the country. One of the most useful features is the ability to obtain up to the minute scratch reports for every race. The results section provides detailed price reports and post race turn-by-turns. There are even links to pay-per-view video replays.

Equibase is a good trackside companion. It's even better for following horse racing when you can't actually be there in person. To that end, the big room for improvement is in the area of betting pool and realtime odds updates. That kind of info, currently only available through simulcast feeds, is what will put handicappers in zone.

Another needed feature is the ability for users to record their selections and wagers. In the old days, we'd right our bets in the margins of our program. A smartphone based answer to pen and paper handicapping is still needed.

I liked the old version much better. This is difficult to navigate .

I used the old version for years and I think it was the best apps for handicap I am lost now with the upgrade you can add Bar graphs and line graphs and it will be perfect

Why is it that I don’t see the win & winning % in the snapshot page for some races ? Is it a bug or something? I’m a monthly subscriber . I would like to see these features for all races .

I subscribed to the as free version. There are still an unbearable amount of ads. What am I paying for?
