I’d have given this 4 or 5 stars before I went to vote today. I’d entered my choices and GeauxVote showed them when I left my house. When I arrived at the poll, GeauxVote was not functioning (I forget the error message). I tried repeatedly, restarted my phone, finally deleted GeauxVote and reinstalled it, but the same error message appeared.
A sympathetic poll worker could access GeauxVote on her phone, but (security feature) my votes were not marked.
Now, three hours later, it’s working again but my choices were not saved.
When I got to the poll booth and tried to open GeauxVote , I see “unavailable for service “. So, all of the saved choices I made ahead of time were not available for me to see and I had to rely on memory. Neither useful nor reliable for its intended purpose.
Filing a complaint with Secretary of State. Not seeing Republican candidates until I get to the ballot box. Also difficult to navigate. This use to be a good app.
While using GeauxVote I accidentally entered in the wrong address and noticed that the sample ballot provided only listed the nominees of a certain party and did not provide any information of the other nominees. Once I entered my correct address the application listed only the nominees for the party I registered to back when I turned 18. GeauxVote should not be limiting information like this.
Before the update my ballot was in place. After the update, there is nothing showing in my ballot. Please fix this.
The new update is terrible! May as well shut GeauxVote down. Was much better prior to last update. Now you can’t look up voter information without date of birth. 😡
You can no longer use GeauxVote unless you give your personal information. No thanks. App deleted.
The current version does not allow the program to work with voiceover, which is a speech program for the blind.

There is an election coming up soon and only republican candidates are being shown on GeauxVote .
Completely unreliable for polling locations.
I only use it for reading amendments beforehand now.
On the sample ballot can you include a hyperlink to the complete text PDF of the proposed amendment, law, or tax for state, parish, and city? It’s nearly impossible to find some of these online. Having a link to the PDF would make for a more informed voter.
Last year I would have rated GeauxVote a 5 but I know there is a election coming up soon and nothing is showing on my app. Is it because of the party I am registered with? I will have to google the elections. There are signs showing up in yards but the candidates don’t usually advertise the dates anymore so they can reuse their signs.
Very helpful app for letting me know who is on my ballot and keeping track of which candidate I favor while researching them. Would have liked some outside links to their platforms, but that's nothing a quick Google search couldn't cure.

GeauxVote is great but what would make it better is GeauxVote giving you notifications about upcoming elections, so you remember to go vote.
Great app that informs me of everything I need to know about an upcoming election and gives me results of the election.

Downloaded to find out where to vote early and it won’t load the parishes. Hey at least I now know how I’m voting in the Secretary race☠️

Great app, has worked well. But please allow me to print the various screens. I’d like to be able to print the sample ballot, my district, my officials, voter info, etc....
