I recently was at the store in Moorpark, CA. I needed help in the framing section. John Kirkegaard helped me. This is a great knowledgable employee. He went above and beyond to help me solve an issue I was having. Quite friendly. This isn't the first time that John helped me. He is a great employee and you should prod to have him work for Michaels.

What is wrong with your website? Every time I go on your website it will work for a few seconds and then it just closes down. After that I can not open up any other site until I shut my PC down and reopen it. Then I can get on sites.

We ordered a Christmas Tree approximately 3 weeks ago online (#D228451S) and when the tree arrived, it was the wrong tree (#PEFG4-330LD-60). We took it back to a store in Dubuque Iowa (the store near us in Machesney Park, Illinois would not help us and we also stayed on hold for an hour with the customer service line until we finally gave up). We then reordered the same tree online and the same wrong tree was delivered again! We have now been on hold with the customer service line again for over a 1/2 hour. The store in Rockford Illinois said they would take our return but now we must reorder again and hopefully get the tree by Christmas and drive an hour to do so! This is very poor customer service and we are very disappointed. This tree should be free of charge by now with all of the time and gas we have wasted returning 2 trees and were not the trees we ordered in the first place!

Hi. I just went to your store in Manchester NH. There are hardly any prices on the items. I price shop. I was told at the register I now have to scan everything with my app. I had the app open beforehand for my coupon. I did not find a scanner and neither do I intend to use one. Especially when I checked out and it started with requesting my birthday and then my last four social number! That’s where I stop. I feel like I’m being tracked. It’s all so sketchy. I saw complaining on line but they didn’t say anything about your social security #. Really?! You’re not my Dr. I was told at the register that everyone is doing it! This is my only experience. In talking with my crafty friends we all agree that it’s sketchy, invasive and no longer have our support. If this is the wave of the future. I’ll save a lot of money by not shopping. Please note also when I’m at your Amherst NH location. The app hardly works with the poor connection. So that will be a joke for your so called scanning. So disappointed you’ve taken this route.

Stopped by your Issaquah, Wa store yesterday. So many items like garlands and floral were not marked with a price. Only the signs that said discounts were up. I had to ask an employee for a price and when I other there were no price she just shrugged. I overheard another employee telling a customer. She could download the app and scan it. I gave up and left the store.

Yesterday I was making a small return. I DO NOT use self checkout. Unfortunately, there was only one clerk working. I, and others, waited in line for 1/2 hour while the clerk waited on 1 customer. There was a lot of discussion during the customer's substantial order. Once it appeared that the customer's order was complete and approximately another 15 minutes or so, a staff member arrived and appeared to be scanning the input in the "till" of the customer's purchases. This meant there was a staff member in the store all this time who could have assisted the rest of us in line who also DO NOT use self checkout. What this told me is that your company has no respect and very little regard for your paying customers. After this treatment I will NEVER go to another Michaels store when anything you have can be easily be purchased online at Amazon, Temu, Shopify etc. I try very hard to shop local but certainly not under these circumstances!

Of the items I received yesterday, three out of the 6 are damaged. I am trying to call to speak with someone and the call will not go through. Two of the items had plastic pieces broken off and one is totally cracked. This is a true disappointment and certainly NOT up to Michaels' standards!! Please issue a refund for the three Simply Tidy containers at 12.59/each. Thanks

Was at the Fairfield Mall Ohio Michael’s today. I understand things need to be arranged and updated but the store was a complete mess! What happened to getting fabric from Joanns? Sign wasn’t changed to show where it was moved to. The stock was VERY limited. Three people standing around the fabrics discussing/complaining what needed to be done. Seems like u have nothing but yarn now! And one girl putting that on the shelf was just tossing it up on top shelf as one roll came over from the next isle and hit me. Thank goodness it was soft! VERY Dissapointed!!!

Brought in a tile to have it framed using a shadowbox and that is NOT what I got. The tile was not oriented in the right direction, no shadowbox, just a mat and a frame. After I got home and saw this, I went back into the store with the tile and spoke with Alice who said she doesn't have a clue how to do a shadowbox and it would have to wait until Monday when another one of her co-workers could work on it. She was useless. I paid for custom framing and that is not what I got. Tried to find a customer service number to call directly, but nothing like that on my receipt. Disappointed in Michael's and their framing department.

My package is lost!! I had a package shipped to Michaels via UPS access point (voice of america store in ohio). UPS tracking shows the package delivered january 19, 11:34am and received by Brooke. The manager assured me that the package is NOT there. I contacted UPS in person, they called the driver. According to UPS, the driver recalls the delivery specifically and verified that Brooke received it. Went back to Michaels, again, they insist the package is not there. In fact the manager Glenn, said UPS often brings in packages, simply drops them off and has them sign without actually verifying what they are signing for. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. This item has a value of $1200. I will be calling the police if I can't get the help i'm looking for. UPS tracking number - 1Z33X39V4294926136

It is now 12/5 and I have not received the item, I am extremely disappointed in your service and if the item does not arrive by tomorrow I will give the better business bureau a head up and will never order from you again.

I received a box of straw wreaths and they were too small. It only offered 14 inches and I thought it was measured on the inside. We cannot use these wreaths. Love that you are embracing iOS capabilities, but PLEASE create a single variable SiriKit Intent donation instead of the 21 you do today. Your app floods Shortcuts with 21 individual "Search for ...." queries when it could be one with a parameter.

I have, previously ordered online from Michael’s with no issues. For the past week, though, I have unsuccessfully attempted to place a sizable order. I keep receiving the message that “something has gone wrong” and “to try again”, of which I have made numerous attempts only to receive the same message. Why am I unable to place an order? I am using a mobile device as I always have in the past. Could someone please assist? Thank you!

I filled out a survey for michaels and was not impressed with the question....do you identify as ....male, female etc. I don't identify as a female. I was born a female and that's what I am! You like others will start to lose business if this continues. Makes me sad. If people want to choose "other" then let them. But don't make me say that I "identify" as a female!!!!!!!!!!

So I ordered online from our local store yesterday, May 28, 2021. I received a text confirmation at 11:15am that my order had been received and they will notify me when it’s ready to pick up. Well it’s now 8:15pm May 19, 2021 and I just got off the phone with the manager. This is how that conversation went down. The first person who answered the phone answered it by saying welcome to Michaels, this is (name given) how can I help you? I asked if a manager was there and could I speak to them. She said yes one moment. I waited a little while, not long then I heard a voice say hello? I said hello, is this the manager? She replied yes. So I asked her what is your name. ( Why did I have to ask a manager this?). She told me her name, then I asked about my pick up order I ordered yesterday but never received notification it was ready. The manager put me on hold and went to check my order. After a bit she came back on the line. Oh my gosh she told me they were in the middle of a reset so they didn’t get my all my order pulled. WHAT? This is the 3rd time I’ve had issues with the store not getting my orders pulled or shipping to the store and the store never calling me to say the order is there. I’m done with Michaels for awhile. The app is ok but it’s nothing without customer service.

Horrible!! I tried to cancel an order five minutes after I ordered it, and they have nothing on the app to be able to do this. Even on the website for Michael’s, there’s no place to cancel an order. I even called customer service five minutes after I placed the order, and they could not cancel it as well. They say they can only cancel curbside pick up, but cannot cancel an item that’s going to be shipped, even after five minutes that you place the order. I explained to them that I thought everything was coming from curbside or pick up from the store, and I didn’t realize a portion of the items were being shipped. Then they told me that you can cancel the order within an hour after placing it. I explained to them that within the hour I did cancel it, and they would not allow the cancel to go through and that it was not possible for items that are being shipped. I even called the store that’s shipping it, and they said they cannot cancel the order, even though they have not even packaged it. I have been on hold for over an hour calling back-and-forth, and still no results. Horrible app, horrible customer service for the 800 number too! Horrible horrible horrible!

Do not buy online from Michael’s even if it’s an item that is only available online. If you make an error on your online purchase they will not do anything to assist you and say their system cannot change or cancel an order unless you contact them within 30 minutes. Yes 30 minutes of your order. Because of their app being difficult to use I purchased for Christmas trees online which were not available in stores and only found out that I erroneously ordered four because we checked the bank statement a couple hours later. Upon calling them the same day they told me their system would not allow them to cancel the order because I did not call within 30 minutes. This is not customer service whatsoever. Given the current state that we are all dealing with Covid, financial stresses, Christmas stress, etc. You would think that a corporation as large as Michael’s would have some flexibility in order to satisfy customers who clearly made an error in their order and it was not a situation of buyers remorse. Never and I repeat never buy online from Michael’s unless you are sure within 30 minutesThat your order is 100% correct.
