ABC7’s outstanding weather team deserves better - ABC7WWSBFirstAlertWeather has many great functions but is fatally infested with obnoxious, vampirish ads and autoplaying ad videos that distract and degrade the user experience and can literally drive you off ABC7WWSBFirstAlertWeather , and there appears to be no ad-free version available. Force-fed autoplay videos can be especially annoying to users with bluetooth hearing aids - a fact that younger programmers may not fully understand or appreciate.
Sometimes it opens....sometimes it doesn’t.....I don’t know why.....I never know when....doesn’t matter the weather or time of day.....very frustrating..... I don’t understand why they don’t put more effort into making this a better app.

I always have to use another weather app because during the night and early morning you don't provide the feels like temp. I go out for a walk at 6 am and the actual and feels like temp are always identical. But other sites are updated during the night
Greedy local station/app. They penalize their followers by making us watch a commercial before EVERY notification. As if there aren’t enough ads populating every part of the forecast as you scroll through it.
ABC7WWSBFirstAlertWeather works well, the recent upgrade helped with some of the glitches. The option for captions would be really helpful.
The information should be updated in a more timely basis. Much can happen over a five or six hours spread that is not reflected in the information provided.

This weather channel is on target 🎯. When we head they took this News/Channel off Frontier we new they have made a mistake!! ABC7WWSBFirstAlertWeather is a lifesaver for Sarasota/Manatee county!!
I love Relying on my local Sarasota sun coast news station and Bob Scalzi! He was so helpful during Irma and I will continue to look to him for information regarding the latest Hurricane .
Slow or unresponsive most of the time. Really kills battery life. This is one of the worst apps I’ve used.
This used to be a great application. The last update was terrible and It’s not as useable and slower. I deleted it and will look for another weather app.
I love their tv weather reports but ABC7WWSBFirstAlertWeather is AWFUL! The screen is jammed with ads and its frustrating to wade through them to get to the weather. There are many better choices.

Too many ads- doesn’t work on iPad-notices are stupid-who decided we needed a weather alert that it was going to be sunny this afternoon? Really?
I love having a local weather app for Sarasota, but it crashes quite frequently on IOS 8 and lately, always during a storm when you would really like to see where the storms are tracking.
The animated ads are annoying.
