Release bug in software on Friday, and as of now issue is still not resolved. No one will support you.

We have been using Handshake for a couple of years now. It works great but if you need help with anything god help you because you can’t call to talk to anyone. You have to send an email and then hopefully someone will write you back within 24 hours. Then you have to respond to the email and who knows how long it will take to get things resolved since they don’t call you just all by email. The customer service for Handshake definitely needs to be better. I’ve reported an issue on Monday morning and it’s now Thursday with only 1 email sent to me and no resolution.

Disappointed that app updates are not triggering to Handshake Store. No way of knowing if the version on my phone is out of date. Anyway this could be solved with the Sync function?

Ok app but would be much better if it would run faster on iPad2. It is maddening when you are entering part numbers on an order and you have to sit there and wait for what you have typed to actually appear on the screen. Then you have to wait some more for the screen to populate. Handshake also completely locks up on iPad2 about 30% of the time and when this happens you loose everything you have just finished entering and then you have to start all over again! If these problems could be fixed I would give it at least 4 if not 5 stars.

I'm not the admin so there are likely features I'd like to have that are available but I haven't been made aware of yet. Seems like shipping and billing fields should be on one page with option to select if same. It's confusing to enter info in one set of fields and not have the option to save for the other...or to see it auto-populate. Pithy I know.

I do like that I can manually change info on the email before I send in the event I need to amend/change notes, pricing, or other data.

I'm new to Handshake so likely have a curve to flatten, but so far it's working fine. I hope to upgrade my rating as A) I become more proficient and B) the boss adds more functionality :)

Great system. Easy and fast. I work trade shows by myself. The customers ooh and ahhh when I get them written up and out of my booth in minutes. The email they get also has linked jpegs of all their purchases. The encryption is smart too, they feel better about paying by cc. The best way for the buck. I use the cheapest 16k iPad minis with wifi they are perfectly suited and smaller than the big one.

Love love love the simplicity of using Handshake for taking orders!

The online tools are a bit weak though, would love better bulk options for downloading orders (rather than one at a time or all combining into one massive PDF). And prompts to exit page whenever I click on a field (i.e. copying an email address) gets annoying. Maybe have an edit mode for client info?

Reporting is not spectacular, and pretty much all useful info has to be accessed by exporting the data to excel, but I still love Handshake , and suspect over time these things will get better.

The sync meter is not a useful feature. Does not give any real indication of what has synced, level of progress, or how much data needs to sync. Having to pump sync numerous times, completes, then tells me it only partially synced. Frustrating.

There is an issue when trying to update discounts in the Cart tab on iPhone X. Once you make adjustments, there’s no Done button or way to collapse the the keyboard. Please fix ASAP! It’s been almost a year!!!

See? I'm speechless. Handshake is truly incredible in its simplicity, ease of use, and raw power for maximizing efficiencies while at shows and on the road. Yes, we are using this in the office, too, for reducing time and data entry errors with phone orders. Thank you this app! Moving forward, this will change the way we do business.

Handshake gets it done in a clean, sleek and easy to use platform. Most importantly, it's super fast! Once a customers account is created an order can be taken and copies emailed to all parties in under a minute. I can't stress enough how much we love this app here at Marquet!!

So glad I found this app. I got everything setup pretty quick. I can't wait to start using in January. I've used some of the other iPad ordering writing apps but I think this one looks to be easier and faster to use. The price is great too. I love that we can hibernate the plan too. We only need it a couple of months out of the year. Great job & props to the this app guys!

Update: Totally working perfect again. Couldn't recommend Handshake more for an outside sales force.

Title says it all. It lets me log in the first time I open Handshake , but after it deletes from the memory of my iPad/iPhone (after running other apps or "killing" this app), it hangs on the first splash screen and eventually crashes back to home screen. The latest update did not address this issue as I was told. I need it back so I can take orders for work!

We looked for months for a solution that would allow us to take orders at trade shows and it was important that the solution be able to work offline which very few can. this app was one of the few that worked offline which was great.

this app also offered easy customization of export files which made integration with our backed system fairly simple. There customer support is very responsive and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a mobile order entry solution.

Handshake has become a vital part of our business. All of our field Reps are equipped with 3rd gen iPads and this app. And as long as you allow the application to sync once a day or so, it runs beautifully. Best of all, you can use Handshake offline all day and send in all the orders at once. Technical support has been very helpful and we are happy to report that we are almost to the point where HS is our only method of ordering left. We recommend Handshake to any company with a strong sales staff in the field with or without a high level of technical understanding.

I found this app about two years ago when looking for an order entry solution at trade shows. I can't imagine going back to hand written order forms as our SKUs have grown significantly. All we need now is to keep out database up to date and enter on an iOS device.
I also love it for reporting. We get real numbers during a show and see trends.
The home office loves it as the orders are clear to read and they can begin shipping orders before we have even left the show.
Customers are impressed when their orders hit their door within days of the show, sometimes the order beats them home!
Hope you enjoy this app as much as we have.
