Disappointed After $5 Pro Purchase

Downloaded RedPanicButton, paid the $4.99 pro upgrade fee to add more than one contact to the panic alert. Only to find out after the purchase when added to a second family phone on my account that it wants me to purchase the pro version again. It specifically states family sharing up to 6 users. I need to know who to contact about this, Apple? Ultimate Communication Software LTD? Don’t make this purchase until this problem is resolved.
Family sharing is turned on, on my iPhone. So idk what the problem is.

Useless

Needed way for stroke victim spouse to contact me when around the house. Stroke victims have a hard time sequencing multiple steps. On iOS this requires five separate steps to navigate to send a panic alert. Good luck even for the young and healthy, especially in a panic situation. On multiple occasions it's simply went to a settings screen which could not be unlocked. It could be a great idea if the panic button was on the opening home screen and did not require any further navigation.

Honestly...worthless it won't load

Some help RedPanicButton is when the location service doesn't work!

Deceptive

I purchased this and then realized it does not work without upgrading within RedPanicButton . Absolute crap. Do not buy this! It does not even say how much the upgrade is.

Wha?

As far as I can tell, RedPanicButton does absolutely nothing except display ads. You cannot send a test, you can't send a message. Nothing. Don't see any clear instructions, either.

Deceptive Practices!!

It was only after buying RedPanicButton that I learned you have to pay extra for the capability to customize emergency messages, a feature that is critical to convincing contacts that it really is you and not some crank or scammer. I'm sufficiently annoyed that I want a refund. There must be other emergency app developers out there who are up-front about their product!

Worthless-won't load

A wast of $1.99-I want my money back!!! Will not load-unable to use-find something you can use!

Fu$&ing terrible

It has you put in contacts for them to alert but IT WONT LET YOU ADD ANY CONTACTS 0 stars

Nothing

Tried it with several emails. Nothing, does absolutely nothing. Maybe not up to date for latest IOS?

Red Panic Button

I bought it for the Apple Watch connection. If I use it on my watch, I have to push send on iPhone to actually send the message. Not much use if I can‘t get to the phone.
Right now it is a good idea, but a waste of money.

Pay attention to the add ons

You have to pay extra to personalize each message recipient, otherwise they just get your name and gps location. And my accuracy was 10m, not 5m like the picture here shows.

Brazil: does not work in Brazil.

Kudos for the utility and cleverness of RedPanicButton !

It, however, does not operate in Brazil because app will not accept cellular operator code. In addition, it requests a country code, but most Brazil cell operators will not forward a call within Brazil, from a Brazil-sourced SIM card, with a Brazil country code inserted in the phone number string.

In addition, the message is not customizable or changeable, and is only usable for English-reading people (which, due to its style, have to be priorly briefed about the message and its app), severely limiting its use, especially in vastly illiterate societies.

If RedPanicButton worked properly, it would be a hit in Latin societies, where flash-kidnappings and theft heists are a normal part of life.

Extremely limited

Extremely limited and doesn’t do what I thought it would.

Not impressed

I've had better. I've tried it a couple of times to see how accurate it was, and I've had some that were way more accurate. Not horrible, but not the best either.

4 for GPS accuracy issues

Just found out about it today, got it. I noticed the GPS accuracy was not very high, ths the 4 stars, but then again maybe that was due to me being inside the house?
I like the simple yet impressive design. Seems like a very professional app that one definately needs to have on the phone.
You can never be too sure...

No sound?

I thought this used to sound an alarm

Grateful for This App

RedPanicButton was at the ready on my phone when I needed an ambulance again last summer.

I found and added RedPanicButton after nearly bleeding to death the previous fall. I wasn't aware that I have an arterial disease that causes the arteries to hemorrhage. One evening, in the fall, I was alone, when I was overcome by excruciating pain. I couldn't stand, nor could I talk, so I couldn't get help. My daughter walked in just as I was losing consciousness. I was in intensive care for five days and in the hospital for three additional days.

Last summer, symptoms of internal bleeding reappeared. My blood pressure was much too low. I pushed the panic button. Notices were sent out. An ambulance arrived, and so did my husband and our daughter. Due to Red Panic, I got to the hospital fast enough to get the hemorrhaging under control and avoid permanent brain injury, stroke, another prolonged hospitalization, ventilator, intubation,..

A must have carry-on app

One never knows when trouble awaits. A great app to use in difficult times

emergency must have

Wish I had this one when got lost in Alaska. Can this be licensed for search and rescue agencies?

simple, free and useful

The kind of app you do not want to use, but comes sooo handy when you do need it. I would like to see it connect to social sites (like Twitter, Facebook)
