Waaaaay too short

The game only had 11 stages. It didn’t even take me 5min to finish it. This game has such high reviews it makes me wonder if I missed something?
If not then it’s such a waste of money and I wish I could get my money back. I’ve never written a review like this before but paying money for a game that didn’t even last 5min is ridiculous.

Love it but…

My 2.5 year old toddler loves this,
But recently it looks transparent. I think it happened during a recent iOS update.

It just looks weird and isn’t as enjoyable.

The Original Toy Gaming App

Toy gaming (Vignettes, GNOG) is an exciting, imaginative form of app gameplay that pushes amazing creative boundaries, and Windowsill’s colorful adventure is one of the first to do it. It’s a bizarre little gem that at times requires odd solutions, but none too difficult that you give up entirely. The game is, however, way too short for its price; I completed it in 20 minutes max and I simply don’t see how it can extend for two hours. There is a neat unlockable after the game is completed, but it isn’t enough for true replay value. And the lack of even a simple soundtrack to compliment the quirky sound effects is a missed opportunity. Overall, though, the game is quite enchanting and laid the groundwork for such a fun kind of puzzle.

Truly Gorgeous Experience

this app is a delightful multi-room game, with seemingly no object which cannot be manipulated in some fashion. Some actions advance your progress, others are just for enjoyment as you move along through the rooms. True, it is rather short but is so very well done, I can't fault it in any way. The closing scene is not to be missed.

Agreed, this app seems to be meant for folks who enjoy exploration for its own sake as well as escape-the-room games. Unlike many escape games, your goal for each room is clear right away. The beauty of the game is found in the method of achieving the goal. Object manipulation is a pure pleasure; the game seems very logical as well as creatively done so older children and adults should be able to enjoy the experience. Graphics and animation are lovely to see. I wouldn't object to more levels someday :) In the meantime, it might be worth replaying in order to be sure I didn't miss any of the objects and what they do.

Why is it so weird

Game is sooooooo fun but also soooooo weird pls add more levels

Work of art

4-1/2 stars - beautiful and immersive, but kind of short (took me an hour to play through)

The best part of this game is not the puzzles - they are not, in and of themselves, terribly difficult, if you are willing to be persistent - but the interactivity. There are characters on every screen - sweet, quirky, clever, and never threatening - that give the game an atmosphere of quiet playfulness. Exploring each scene is as much fun as solving the puzzle itself. I can see why this would give it great appeal to children - but I found it really lovely as an adult as well. I've spent far more on apps that have given me far less pleasure. Even short, this is well worth the money.

Throw back!

At first I didn't know what to expect and was skeptical about the game and it turned out to be one of the best games on my iPad. When I first tried it I found it amusing but I didn't quite get it at first and the puzzles were to short in the beginning but the puzzles got more elaborate as I kept playing and turned out to be very clever and fun. Then towards the end of the game it clicked what it was supposed to be and represent (when we were kids and put our cars on the windowsill with our toys in the background) and that completely got me psyched and suddenly I was thrown back to childhood and it got even more enjoyable. The ending would be one that would naturally disappoint me, but the experience was so enjoyable that it was almost heart warming. For the full nostalgia effect try listening to "let me take you there" by the plain white t's it completes the experience in my opinion. The game was really great and I actually just finished the game about 8 minutes ago I had already spent five minutes raving to my friends about the game and the rest writing this review. All in all a really well made experience that throws you back if you had that kind of childhood or a really enjoyable experience for children, the graphics are like a child's book and the puzzles are very clever. It is something everyone should get. And I want to get replaying the game as soon as I submit this review. Five out of five stars great job to the dev's.

Lovely game

I play this game about once a year. Something about it is just magical to me.

My kids love it - beautiful game with so much to explore

Thanks for making it work on iPhone!

Super fun

This is a super fun app to explore and play with. Honestly, never played euthanasia anything like this before. Wish it went on forever.

More Levels!

This game is so good and I love the thought that has to go into each level. The only issue I have with this game is how short it is. I have been playing this game ever since I was a toddler and I remember it being way longer. It only takes about 2 minutes to complete every stage so it doesn’t take that long to complete the whole thing. I would love to see more levels to play in the future!! Other than that, this game is amazing!

OMG, this is the best!

I love this game so much! My mom got it for me and I loved it! I have wanted it when I was little and it was AWESOME! No bugs, no glitches, all fine!

A True Classic

Like playing through a dream. I’ve loved this game for a long time and I have been excited to share it with my children now. They love it as well.

Very nice!!!!!!

I tried out this game only because I liked feed the head. But it was so good !!!10 stages of tricky puzzles and fun fun fun! And only two bucks? This should be like $6!

Oddly charming and interesting

This is a prime example of an imagination come to life. The visuals fit the theme of Vectorpark, the gameplay is unique, and the puzzles are creative. If you’re a fan of games with an oddly satisfying puzzle game, give this one a go.

Fantastic!

this app is an excellent puzzle game for all ages. It has interesting and whimsical gameplay, a nice story, and beautiful and intriguing art. Even after a full play-through there are still small details and hidden functions to discover. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who wants a puzzling, pretty, but relaxing app!

Great educational tool for young kids

This helps kids develop problem solving skills by engaging their natural curiosity. Even if they’re too young to solve, they’ll spend time enjoying all the hidden pieces. Reviewers mentioning they solved too fast probably didn’t look at the age recommendation. My 4 year old loves Windosill, and there is nothing like it. I do want more levels!

Cute Little Experience

My mom had this on her iPad when I was much younger, maybe 8 years old. It’s a great game, tho I’m not sure if you could even really call it a game. The experience is about a cute little toy car, moved by your finger, going through different rooms with simple puzzles. If you are looking for a fun experience that takes ~10-20 minutes to complete, this is a great one!

Still Essential After All These Years

Apps by Vectorpark are incomparable to anything else as a combination of beautiful minimalist art and interactive design. I feel inspired every time I play with one.

Now I enjoy them with my 3-year-old and their value has gone up exponentially.

It would be a shame to ruin any of the surprises by describing them here, so allow me to simply say: get this and the rest of the Vectorpark apps, touch every part of them, and you’ll be glad you did.

I want more!

This is an incredible app. I've replayed it many times and every time I do I find little surprises. I love the detail including the sounds, an essential aspect to a good game and is often overlooked, but not here. The entire thing is tight and well designed. Its natural and fluid and gorgeous. I highly recommend you acquire Windosill as soon as humanely possible. You certainly will not regret it. I only hope the developer might make another volume or add more levels, but based on the thought and imagination and effort put into each windowsill, I'm sure it must take an extensive amount of manpower and time.
