This app had a great potential to be helpful in planning for an early retirement. However, unfortunately the forum suffers from over moderation by a bunch of censors that are very much into themselves and censor not only anything even mildly political, but any criticism of the censorship itself as well. As a result the forum is nearly useless.

The latest update is fairly flakey on the iPad 2. Some buttons along the top and bottom only work in certain device orientations. A few (like login!) don't work for me in any orientation. The usual tricks of force quitting, restarting the iPad, or deleting the app and its data and reinstalling don't correct this. (This "feels like" an uninitialized data bug, which often leads to behaviors that vary wildly from user to user.)
Prior updates worked very well, and I found the app faster to use than the web browser interface.

That's good as they are honest and data driven. What's not great is the heavy use of acronyms, many specific to the forum. Plus there are acronyms that are specific to the individual writer. Some posts require a translator. There really isn't any need for the use of many acronyms. Just use speech to text software.
