4 months agoToday December 16, 2023, once again did not receive our Edmonton Journal!! This time the recording said it would be delivered in 2 hours or to call back. Was not delivered so called at 5:20 and no service. You never have a voice on the other end. We have been subscribers for 35 plus years. We also get the Sun on Sundays but now have been missing these papers occasionally. A few days ago we got a photocopied Christmas letter from I believe it was (Leroy?) saying he delivered our papers for Journal and Sun and so I left out a Christmas card and a gratuity. Sure took that. Very frustrating when we can not count on our paper being delivered and no person to talk to when you phone the Journal. 6 months agoI HAVE BEEN TRYING TO PUT A VACATION STOP ON MY EDMONTON JOURNAL FROM OCTOBER 5TH TO AND INCLUDING OCTOBER 23RD. I HAVE SENT AN EMAIL TO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND IT SAYS IT WILL TAKE 7 DAYS TO RESPOND; TOO LATE. I HAVE ALWAYS PREVIOUSLY DONE IT ON LINE BUT FOR SOME REASON IT IS NOT WORKING FOR ME TO DO THAT AUTOMATICALLY. I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS TYPE OF ISSUE BEFORE. PLEASE COMPLETE MY REQUEST. THANK YOU.

6 months agoNever received my Journal for Saturday September 23rd. We had a vacation stop and delivery was to resume September 21. We did get the Journal for 21 and 22 but not the 23rd. The delivery was been good for the past few months so we are surprised Saturday was missed. Please credit my account and add an additional $3.50 for my purchase off the rack at Rexall Drugs Stony Plain. Thank you

1 year agoDidn't receive the paper on Saturday, March 4th. Do you provide a reduced rate as you've been missing a number of deliveries in the past few months. I don't see any reduction in price to match reduction in service. Please advise.

1 year agoWe need to put a hold on home delivery for 3 months BUT holds longer than 2 months are not possible online. Longer holds must be set up by phoning the Ed Journal. I’ve been on hold for 2 hours with a looping voice recording. Is anyone actually there? Is there a more direct number to call? Or do I just cancel my subscription to stop delivery?

1 year agoI live in a condo complex and have not received our paper 2 days in a row. I have tried to contact someone to talk about this issue but all I get is the automated system which doesn't solve the issue. I am about 5 minutes away from canceling my subscription.

I use to like and surf this now and then to see what is up in my home town,,, Now I can only read the headlines and a MUST SUBSCRIBE thing pops up... So limit your clicks,,, sad to what has happened to most print papers's.
