Forcing a draw after so many moves is irritating. I’ve only got the online random opponent feature to work a couple times; that was met with a profane opponent that hurled insults between each move. Par for the course unfortunately with our culture, not necessarily a fault of Checkersgame . There aren’t many options for checkers out there, Checkersgame is okay, that’s it. The Microsoft Windows version was better but is not available anymore.

It’s been years since I’ve played checkers. This is an easy refresher and good practice to keep your mind sharp.
It has a lot of variations in checkers. -
There’s 3 main kinds.
-normal checkers which is normal checkers.
-international checkers where theirs kings that can move like bishops in chess, normal checkers (men) can capture backwards, you are not only force jump but are forced to jump that will capture the most prices.
-Turkish checkers which is more similar to a different game like Chinese checkers than normal checkers. Piece move in straight lines, flying kings, no black or white squares. Not like the game was named after the checker pattern.
Really fun and has different style of play. I can’t stop when I start playing really addicting if you are a checker player.
This is an advanced game that a novice used to playing regular 20 man checkers ( 10 white/ 10 black ), can move up to. You can take your expertise to the next level by going against the computer. This level requires a bit of serious concentration. The developer of Checkersgame, did a fine job of programming strategy into this game. There are several advanced levels of play. This game should keep you occupied for quite some time. Enjoy!
I tried a couple other checkers apps, but this one is the best (free one)…it has every style of play, and it’s quite customizable.

This is a superior adaptation of the classical 10 x 10 game of checkers. Plenty of options, levels, openings, and combinations. I wish there were more games like this!

Yeah, I liked the newest version “10*10*10 international. More tiles, wider board, interesting and more challenging. But, I would like to keep the best players in the house or on my player’s list, that’s what is still lacking.
I’ve played 7000 times over the span of a few years the previous version of Checkersgame. It’s a great app, keeps your stats. I should probably buy the premium version for harder difficulty…
I love Checkersgame because of its multiple levels of challenges, user interface, setting options, and the flexibility to play online with others. I have one recommendation at this point, please consider making the board adaptive to the screen orientation and size. I am glad that I bought Checkersgame and that I am part of its community of fun and lovely players. Thank you.
