It’s not working

You can’t go forward on some lessons

It’s also BS cuz it says all nicknames are taken

Idk if the developers just won’t read the reviews but so far I have complained that LearnSpanishCards is not working correctly. Please fix this already!!!

Malfunctioning.
It was so good but now is broken.

LearnSpanishCards keeps playing music even if you set the setting off

LearnSpanishCards will not open. I’ve deleted LearnSpanishCards & reinstalled it numerous times & it will not open.

We can’t get LearnSpanishCards to play. The home screen keeps repeating eflash apps.

There’s no way to turn off the very loud, very distracting background music in the paid version of LearnSpanishCards . When I tap on the “sound off” option, as well as when I tap on the music note with the line through it (that indicates you want the music turned off), it does nothing. My daughter can’t even use LearnSpanishCards because of this. It’s too distracting.

I like LearnSpanishCards, but I appreciate if developer will add more categories to app, like family, travel and so on.

We do these flash cards with our 5yr old! They are great!

First, I really like LearnSpanishCards. Good pictures, the voice is easy to understand, and I like being able to see both the English and Spanish words. That said, I see several errors on the vehicles card set. The "boat" picture has the English word said rather than the Spanish "bote" spoken. The card labeled "llanta" is pronounced as "rueda" and the picture for the card labeled "biplane" shows a hang glider.

Would give you 5 stars if not for the errors.

I love this. My husband and son do it together and are having a blast. I would REALLY love an Amharic version!! So many of my friends are trying to learn and an app like this would really help. :)

I disagree with reviewers who mention naranja and banana. These words are perfectly normal. What I find odd is the use of the word "frutilla" instead of "fresa," and the picture of a katydid with the label "tucura," a word I have never heard and cannot find in any dictionary. Also, please add an accent mark to the word "búho."

Beautiful, full color photographs, even some with sound, clear pronunciation. Definitely download!
Cons: no english equivalent, so the body parts are confusing. As an adult, I could not figure out exactly which body part was being depicted. English equivalent would help readers.
Found one problem for iphone users. The next button is directly above the phone call button on an advertisement. My daughter was upset that her volume had gone away, and I could hear a woman saying thank you for calling Direct TV. I explained to her that my daughter was playing a game and called her by accident. Probably not the best wording to describe what happened! This functionality should be able to be turned off on apps for kids.

I vacation in the Caribbean pretty often and LearnSpanishCards has proven to be an invaluable reference to lookup words and expressions. I like that it functions completely offline so I don’t have to worry about getting wacked with overseas data rates.
One feature I tried for the first time is attaching notes and photos to dictionary entries. I didn’t really see the use of that until my last trip.
I had a delicious dish in a restaurant with plantains and decided to write the name of it in the annotations for « plantains » in the dictionary. I took a picture and attached that too. Then I asked the waitress to pronounce the name of the dish and attached that to the dictionary entry as well.
I have done it for a lot on words now so LearnSpanishCards is full of vacation memories. Fun!
LearnSpanishCards comes with a good phrasebook as well. It gets you through most situations like getting around, hotels, making friends. It could be a bit bigger but you can add your own phrases which is useful. I don’t have any other language apps that let me add things.

Very useful app

I had my 2 1/2 y/o daughter use LearnSpanishCards everyday for 10 minutes or more and her Spanish was doing amazing! I had to reset her iPad and lost all apps on it including this one and I couldn’t remember the name of it and I was so sad I thought it was gone. I just found it again today and we are both happy that I did! LearnSpanishCards gets 5 stars!!!

Hope they keep updating it! Please don’t give up on LearnSpanishCards!!

I appreciate the fun the 2-3 year old children from Spanish speaking families have with LearnSpanishCards that I see as a Speech Therapist. Great for improving their attention, motivation to interact with me or a parent and to develop their understanding and expression of vocabulary!

It's too bad you removed the swipe feature. The small "next" button to change images is not ideal for my 2 year old. I'm still giving 5 stars because this is the best app of its kind. My suggestions: add 100s of more words (free or paid), bring back the swype feature, and make my 2 year old your spokes baby...seriously he could make a great instructional video
