Installed this (plus paid $5) to receive text messages to my NetTALK number forwarded to my phone. Automated verification texts never go through. Plus, phone calls never connect to my iPhone when they ring my number. Currently, app won’t even open even after re-install. Not sure what I am paying for…

netTalk duo customers get no advantage at all in being able to use NTConnect freely to mark and receive calls in the nation with existing netTalk Duo number. Unlike magic jack which lets customers make AND receive calls to the iOS app for free with your current account and number. At starbucks with just your ipad? No prob, Magic Jack will ring to your ipad and you can take the call without the device at no extra charge. Not nettalk, outbound only, no link to current account. Not personalized. No customer benefits. Not super portable. Current NetTalk Duo customers are supposed to be advantaged and rewarded. Not with nettalk...I bought Magic Jack after being failed in hopes by NTConnect. If you want benefits for being an existing customer, do the Magic Jack. Your outbound and inbound calls move with your iOS device...free. Like how it should be.

I am using net talk service from last two years. Surprised to see downgraded service. Unable to make any international prepaid calls. Tried to reach busy customers support only chat line. Never was able to speak any one over phone! No one helps... feels like money got stuck. I feel like helpless

If I have add up with international account with $120/ year and then I have only option to call from land line, not from app or cellphone bcoz DUO account is not link with app. So useless. And there are many applications available that gives you call function on app to app, like VIBER and some more. Now, verizon and optimum started to give phone with internet free. If you close the phone line and keep the internet only still no prize difference, then why we need this?? A big question. I spent money with think that, I can use my yearly subscriptions to nettalk app also but unable to link. Hope nettalk team update NTConnect again and due account link function applicable before people close their subscriptions.

I used to be able to make calls on both Wi-Fi and on my cells data network. I recently updated NTConnect and it now only allows me to make calls while on a WiFi network.

My iPhone 7 has v4.1.24. I can receive incoming calls but outgoing calls do not connect to the destination #. I hear ringing from my end but the destination phone does not receive my call. Reloaded NTConnect , used different routers and ISP’s, with and without VPN, with the same results.

Terry 3GS OS 4.2.1 Calls are clear when you can get them to go through. Great sound quality....BUT a lot of calls that are attempted get a "request timed out" response and never connect. Tried to make four calls to my office phone while sitting at my desk and only two were able to ring through. When a call is successful it can take a really long time to start ringing. The music on hold is a nice feature BUT if you ever want to be able to return to a call you put on hold be prepared to toggle the hold function numerous times. One call I never could get back to. Best not to try to use the hold feature until the next version comes out. Rating this 2 stars because of all the bugs. It is great when it works though.

It's a perfect app for me. I have benefited from NTConnect on my iPhone as well as on my blackberry bold 9700 and it works great on both of them. I can make free calls to Canada which I really needed with less hassle an the beat thing is that I didn't have a voice plan on my blackberry since it's the work one but now I can use my blackberry as a second cell phone for making outgoing calls and not just check the corporate emails which is really nice to have.

NTConnect is awesome! Of course it will only get better with updates but u can still make free calls over wifi! All of u complainers need to grow up! NTConnect should definently be downloaded! And i didnt have to give any credit card info and i was making calls from my iphone that does not even have a sim card in it!!! Update.. You can even record your conversations!! If yall get a blue screen try to reboot or turn your iphone or ipod off and it should work! You cant receive calls but you can still talk for free if u have someones number! AWESOME APP A+++ Rating

Like everyone else, I hardly write reviews but, NTConnect is free. If you don't like it, delete it. It works for me, call varies from time to time and you do get occasional problems like the person on the other line not being able to hear you, just hang up and call again. I have an iPhone 4 iOS 4.1, after making phone calls through wifi and 3G I went back to check if I used up any of my day minutes and lo and behold, I didn't use up any of them. How can you turn that down?!? Get NTConnect , it's worth the free admission price tag ;)

Need to make sure you use the right caps for password as it is cap sensitive. Application worked great the first time I tried it. The person in the other end of the call sound like it is talking in a big hall. The same was reported from their end. Overall the voice sound was clear and static free. You can add favorites from your contacts list for ease of calling and convenience. Wish the conference bridge call number could be made as one of the icons for ease of calling. Overall I give NTConnect a 5 star rating!!!

NTConnect does exactly what it says it does. You simply sign up for an account (which takes 30 seconds), wait for the confirmation email (3 minutes or less), click on the link to confirm, sign in & you're done! I thought it would be more difficult. I didn't want to pay for Skype & it's hard convincing friends to use the same program you're using; no matter HOW easy or intuitive it is. I was glad to see that Nettalk was true to it's word. Every now & then, the sound would get choppy but it's a minor complaint. I use NTConnect with my 2g iPod Touch & I couldn't be happier with it. I bet NTConnect gives you better reception than on AT&T! I haven't gotten a dropped call either!

Works almost every-time, except when certain landlines I call do not accept phone calls with caller ID which I am assuming Nettalk app does not release cause its a free voice app. The voice get modulated once in a while, when the wireless signal is low. Otherwise awesome voice quality. Way better than iCall. Have not compared it Ooma app yet however NTConnect costs 10 bucks & need a $250 device plus nominal monthly fee.

I did my research. Currently Nettalk is the best VOIP device on the market & also the best value. I just ordered 2 Nettalk Duo devices. I am going to leave one of them overseas so I can have a local US number there. Cant wait to transfer that number to NTConnect so I can call any phone & not have to worry about not having a caller ID.

Five Stars because of the whole package of the VOIP service at home linking to NTConnect that allows me to make/receive calls via NTConnect just as if I were at home. Excellent value.

If I were rating NTConnect alone I would perhaps give 4 stars and note a few bugs. I expect these will be worked out with future updates. The biggest of which I have noted so far is that the audible alert does not accompany the visual alert the pops up with an incoming call even through everything is set up to do it (and other apps such as Pinger are working). It does, however, "ring" audibly if NTConnect is active on the screen. NTConnect got stuck a couple of times while I was playing with it too. Minor stuff though: this is really cool.
