Very out of date and some of the cards I have from 2016 aren't even showing up in a search; one did and MagiccarddatabaseMTG required an upgrade for $4.99, just to be able to access it. Why would I pay $4.99 when it seems like most of the cards I have from this set aren't even in the database full stop?
By the looks of the description, MagiccarddatabaseMTG hasn't been updated since February/March 2016, so I doubt the developers are maintaining it anymore. Be aware of that fact before paying the $5 to upgrade!

When I had MagiccarddatabaseMTG on my iPhone 4 it worked fine. Now I have it on iPhone 6 and it's missing all sets beyond Khans of Tarkir. The free version didn't even have that so I had to buy the upgrade and now I'm feeling ripped off. There is no support website to help resolve this issue either.

MagiccarddatabaseMTG is borderline useless if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, and even worse, you can’t search for cards that fit well with your library unless you know every single card. But if you know every card, then you don’t need a familiar. On too of that, even if you do know exactly what you are looking for, it’s Russian roulette whether or not it will even be included in the database. You might as well just search on Safari for cards

MagiccarddatabaseMTG hasn't been updated in a long time and is missing a lot of content. It's also buggy, sometimes randomly shutting down. The card prices don't show up. It doesn't have any of the sets that are currently in standard and the cards it says are standard are not. Unlocking the full version does not fix this. MagiccarddatabaseMTG could be fantastic if it had current cards and listed prices (like it says it does in the description).

How was the easiest method for sorting cards, like sorting by color, not put into MagiccarddatabaseMTG? Wow... I also went to the settings to try and modify the search criteria by clicking on a box as if to say “Use this method with my search” but when I tried to take away the check mark in the box, it wouldn’t go away. In fact I checked all the boxes to test it out and none of them could be “un-checked”. Fix it for a better rating.

If you’re looking for a database that will quickly and easily show you MTG cards, MagiccarddatabaseMTG will do a good job with any card that you know the exact name of that was printed before M20. I wouldn’t recommend spending any money on MagiccarddatabaseMTG, as it rarely updates with new cards and its search function leaves much to be desired: I would just use your preferred website on a mobile browser instead of MagiccarddatabaseMTG - but until Scryfall releases their own app this unfortunately appears to be the best MTG database on the AppStore

MagiccarddatabaseMTG only goes up to Khans of Tarkir, six sets back at this point I believe. It does great for older sets, and I have built casual decks with the cards I've seen here, but if you want something to look at Standard cards, MagiccarddatabaseMTG is worthless. Magic has been around for a long time so there are plenty of cards to browse which is why it gets two stars, but a complete lack of current Standard playable sets is ridiculous, especially when they want money for the full app.

It's a great way to keep tabs of your cards. However, it's way out of date. It really needs an update and I can't tell if the creators are even still doing anything with MagiccarddatabaseMTG.

It's a good app but it was better in my opinion before when they kept it up to date and had a different layout.

It's alright just to look up cards but it doesn't show the price for any of them, and a lot of the cards are missing.

Pretty good app. Lots of features. Only thing is that MagiccarddatabaseMTG is not updated frequently enough to include the recent sets. Other than that, not a bad app.

There are newer set and fix the bug where if you click on a card to learn about it and ware the photo should be you get "no image available ".
Other that the above a good app that could be grate.

How do I update the database? There's some various things that are missing, and I think it'd be helpful to link to Scryfall...

It is decent but it does cost money to get the card and it is expensive I could find cheaper

I only have the free version, but it works pretty well. I love how it links cards to discussions about them so you can better understand them when questions arise. My only complaint is that sometimes it's slow and lags a bit.

This is definitely a useful app for MTG players, I gave it 4 instead of five, just because of all the content not being free but all in all, it's worth downloading 👍🏻

Great app, doesn't cover everything but what do you expect for free. Great search engine makes finding cards and effects simple and deck building even easier.

This is great but why is there cards that seem sketchy like the guy with 99 damage and health and all those test cards
by AlChandel
Recently free and open source. Most recent included set is Core Set 2019.

Magic the Gathering is more on moving to series to series and I have no problem on since the day on 2009 I been playing and their is a lot more interesting decks and it's is harder to find the one you need to start and one card to complete your deck it's only the begging to play more to come on your game

MagiccarddatabaseMTG works pretty well, however it seems like a waste of money to have to purchase both the pro unlock and pay a subscription fee to have full access to all of the cards, which half of the time doesn’t even contain the newest set of cards making casual deck construction using this application difficult.
