Perfect app for fans who follow multiple teams!

I’ve never reviewed an app in OneFootball Store before but felt so inclined to do so with this one. It’s amazing. The user interface is well done, it’s clear where everything is and it’s intuitive to use, I love the match schedule page. You select the teams you follow and then can see a composite list of all their upcoming games. Thanks to this, I’ve been watching more soccer then ever! Knowing when every game is has made sure I keep up to date with my teams. The notifications are helpful! They don’t take advantage of that, and you can set your preferences (when a match starts, when transfer news comes up, etc) which is helpful to me because I follow several teams in several leagues so it lets my keep up on all of them in a way I previously wasn’t able to. You can also follow individual players and leagues/tournaments. Been recommending it and everyone loves it. If you’re a soccer fan, download it now

The only app you’ll need…but could use an update

this app is my go to for everything soccer. It allows me to follow all my favorite teams (Spurs, NE Revs, USMNT, 3 Lions) and leagues all in one space with solid updates, live ticker and breaking news. Only a few small issues…the most infuriating is the bug that doesn’t give me any notifications for an entire week despite a reinstall. I woke up at 2am this morning to my phone dumping 100+ notifications from all the matches and league news. That needs to be fixed asap. Other than that, it’s just minor details. More info on notifications about who scored or got the red and why. Things like that. Just polishing really. Despite all that, it’s a 5 star app.

BAD redesign. AWFUL

Dumbed down visuals. Too much white space—MUCH less info on the screen at any one time. Information is the whole purpose of OneFootball. And what use is OneFootball if you can’t easily—quickly—get to the info?Probably did this on purpose, because you see more ads if you have to keep scrolling. And the ads are so big, it’s hard to swipe screen without brushing one. Then, whoops! App Store or browser has opened and screen has switched to that. Close the new window. Go back to OF. Try to swipe without touching an ad and get back to what I was trying to look at. I hate it. It was nice to have so much info in one place, but bookmarking some websites will be lads aggravating. I’ll
leave OneFootball on my phone for a while to make sure OneFootball stays posted, but I won’t be using it.

I HATE it when a perfectly decent app gets trashed by so-called improvements. Other issues: too much white background—wastes my battery power. Last complaint: When will graphic designers learn that serif fonts are easier to read?

Suggestion

I’ve been using this app for a while now, and I really enjoy OneFootball . It’s definitely the best app to keep track of soccer teams and leagues. However, I have to address a couple things.
For one, it would be nice if all of the teams on OneFootball were well-accounted for and included all of the team members in the rosters. I’m sure this might be difficult because it’s a big sport with a ton of different teams, but it would be cool if some of the teams that weren’t super famous were kept track of well, too.
And lastly, I’d very much like it if OneFootball contained league history. For instance, if I wanted to know who won la Liga three years ago, I won’t be able to find out on OneFootball ; rather, I’d have to go google it or something. And again, I know it would be a lot of information to enter in, but it would be really cool if I could educate myself on the history of the sport.
Otherwise, really great app!

Suggestion for improvement

I use OneFootball nearly every day to check all the news of my favorite clubs Everton and Barcelona. I have all of the news from the local newspapers and online blogging sites from English sources(because my phones preset language is English), but I wish there was an option in OneFootball to aggregate articles from multiple languages such as Spanish or French. There are many more articles and perspectives available for teams in for example, Spanish speaking countries that many people miss out on because they have a different default language set on their phone. One of the only thing I think OneFootball could improve on is adding an option to include news outside of countries that speak the phone’s preset language like a multi-lingual option. Besides that OneFootball is great!

My review on OneFootball

I’d say this is my number 1 source for football news. OneFootball is amazing keeping me entertained every day. If there was any change I could make it is that I can’t follow any players anymore. I used to follow almost 500 players but it was cut down to around 100, and now every time I try to follow another player it’s automatically unfollows for me. And OneFootball used to have the favorite players clubs and competitions going vertically, now it’s horizontal and I have to scroll down all the way to get to players and competition. And now I can’t organize it by holding it down anymore like it used to let me. Still, this is an amazing app I use regularly.

Great app needs this update that’ll make it better

All in all this is an amazing app. You get everything you need. My biggest gripe with OneFootball is that when I want to look at the games for the day, the leagues that I want to find are very difficult to find. Obviously in the world the football there is a lot of games in a lot of leagues. But most likely users will want the most common leagues (Premiere league, La Liga, World Cup Qualifying, etc) so in the games sections I feel like it should be ordered by the most common leagues not random club friendlies or Turkish 2nd division. This will make the user experience that much better than what it already is.

The essential app for football lovers

I’ve been using OneFootball for almost two years now and I can honestly say I couldn’t live without it...

I’m a lifelong Borussia Dortmund fan, so I constantly need to check for the latest Marco Reus injury, and with OneFootball I get notifications almost instantly. I get updates and news about my team from this app ages before the BVB fan app or any sport-news website publish anything on the matter. Also, I’m able to easily follow many different leagues in Europe (2nd or 3rd divisions or smaller nations) that I wouldn’t necessarily be able to on mainstream apps or websites.

this app is always the first to post reliable news that you can reach with a single tap, has live tables and news for hundreds of leagues across the world, offers the latest confirmed transfers and rumors, promptly releases lineups, provides live commentary on hundreds of matches per week, etc.
If you love the beautiful game, OneFootball is the best way to stay connected to not only your team, but the headlines circulating world football.

Declined in quality

I’ve been a user since the windows phone days, I even purchased the subscription when the price and terms were reasonable. But then recently I’ve been having all kinds of issues, ads are ruining the UI and I can’t scroll properly and view content, I even purchased the subscription but still the same problem, also some ads still show up after purchasing the subscription, other issues: too many spam articles from horrible source (like give me sports and 90 mins), the UI isn’t the best and too much scrolling needs to view content and schedules, scores get stuck a lot and sometimes never update. Btw I have the same issue on 2 different phones, restarting and reinstalling OneFootball never helped. I ended up switching to Forza Football, much better compact UI with more information and faster updates.

Best App For Everything Football⚽️

this app is genuinely a 5 star class act with its initiative way of producing a variety of continental news on the world’s favourite sport. OneFootball allows you to view the times, lineups, dates, backgrounds, and locations of matches; ranging from the top 5 leagues in Europe(if you wish to include the Eredivise, then 6) to less regarded ones across the globe. Well reliable for transfer information, along with comical skits or gists on occurrences in this game. The casts fluid, enthusiastic script per story is fruitfully engrossing; Kindheartedly showing even the negatives from our beloved sport(🙏🏾 out to the recent fire in Brazil). this app is truly a “must-have” for ANY football fan!

Beats all other soccer apps I have

OneFootball is amazing compared to every other soccer app I have found.
I love many of its features ranging from the notification when your team scores, or in a game you are following that it even notifies you when there is a yellow card or red card.
I love the fact that they always come out with a great daily news video and power rankings. The main reason I like OneFootball so much is because of its news, it’s always coming out with the biggest news around the soccer world. It’s always very well written with a lot of detail.
OneFootball also has nice features like player ratings as well as cool viral soccer videos and a whole section dedicated to transfer news.
OneFootball is always fast and does not lag. I also like the fact that you can vote on player of the game and the highly detailed game facts.
I 1000% recommend OneFootball to anyone who loves to know what is happing in the soccer world or just wants soccer games updates!!!

Love the new look

I think the new overhaul made OneFootball ’s look much cleaner. But I think having the teams in the same line in the Games section would’ve helped the user grasp more information. Having the teams below each other with a very faint line separating the matches requires slightly more time to understand what’s going on. Every UI uses a single line to depict the fixtures for a reason. It’s not like more information is being displayed with the extra space each fixture gets. Now it also takes more scrolling to see the future matches. I hope this feature is reverted back. Besides this, I think OneFootball is much better.

Love but mad

OK so let me start by saying I love OneFootball . However the newest update not so much. I don't know if its just me or if it's suppose to be like this, but the main display of news is minimal. My favorite club is Barcelona and PSG is a team I follow but not as much as other. Barcelona and PSG are the only two clubs that appear on the home news page along with top news, world football, and the mixer. I much preferred the old way where there were a dozen clubs news. I don't like going to the following page, having to select a club one by one to read the news. I get notifications but that is not enough for me. I love to stay up to date with everything. Is there a way to have more than just 2 clubs news appear or can you change it back to how it was? Thank you. If this happens then it’s definitely 5*.

Just one suggestion

I really love using OneFootball and have been for a while! I’ve been using it now for about a year or more to keep up with games, news, and transfers and it’s worked so well and helped me learn a lot too. The only thing I see that is lacking is a way to save an article for later (I might just not know how to do this though). But there are so many times when I find an article I want to read but don’t have time right then and then have to search to try and find it again.

Besides this, OneFootball is nearly perfect. Also the podcast is very good and worth listening to.

Also a comments section for articles would be cool!

Ads.

First of all I don’t usually write reviews for apps. I love OneFootball it is by far the best soccer scores/news app I’ve ever had. I have almost 0 complains about OneFootball it’s almost perfect. I also don’t have any problems with ads here and there however in the past two weeks I’ve noticed that I’ve been getting the same exact ad whenever I click on a video. It’s the ad about Apple AirPods. It’s so annoying. Like I haven’t even clicked on the video and I already know it’s coming. It’s happened literally every time for about two weeks now. I’d suggest doing something about it because OneFootball is truly great.

One little request

OneFootball is amazing, I just wish that I could see a players overall season stat. I personally would like for all the cup performances from an individual player to be added up, like total goals scored for that season and total assists, and goal contribution and such. But other than that it’s the best app for football out there, I’ve recommended OneFootball to many of my friends and all have really appreciated that I did that. Must have if you’re a busy guy (or girl) and want to be in the know in anything and everything in football.

By

Stop reading the reviews and download the App

You'll have access to LIVE updates on for every one of your team's matches, which is about a minute or two ahead of alive broadcast, which is funny, because I lose my head when I see that my team scored on OneFootball , and I have yet to see it, about a minute away on broadcast.

Additionally, there are daily well-written articles that release and are very relevant towards the current goings-on in the Footballing-world.

If you don't have the this app app, I just don't know what to tell you.

The app is Amazing! 1 suggestion though

I want to start off by saying that is app is amazing. I’ve been using it for a while and I can definitely say that it provides quality information on football. however I do have one suggestion.

Whenever I get a notification about an article, but don’t have time to read it I’ll come back to the article later . However when I do get time, I can’t search and find the article that I want. So I suggest adding a way to search and save articles

Besides that one thing I think that OneFootball is great, and is a reliable source of football information.

By

Please listen developers

I’ve really been enjoying OneFootball lately and it always gives me great articles to read, but it is lacking in one aspect. I always find myself reading articles and by the end I would always have something to say but I am not able to, OneFootball is lacking a comment section. I would think that it would be great to have discussion with other football lovers about articles. It would give even more life to the as it would have a tighter community. Please think about this developers. Oh by the way OneFootball is basically perfect other than that.

Left Wanting

Ok, so I wish I could give it 3.5 stars because I can’t find a better app than this for football! But the articles are infuriating sometimes, for instance they will have a story about how some player has become the youngest player to score a hat trick in a certain league and it will be a long article but at no stage will they give his age! It can get ridiculous sometimes with the amount of necessary information they leave out!
This happens with the majority of articles, I’m actually expecting that I’ll have to Google the necessary information after I read the article.

Best soccer app in App Store however....

I started using this app about a year ago and it’s great for staying on top of everything going on in soccer around the world. The only issue I have with it is that there is NO women’s soccer.. AT ALL. No English, Spanish, American, South American, nothing. I hope this changes some time soon as the 2019 women’s World Cup is fast approaching and it would be nice to stay up on what is going on while not being able to catch all of the games. Other than that amazing app keep up the good work.

Good app but one thing wrong

This is great app but I think the live ticker system is much more in depth for games in the premier league than the other top 5 leagues, for example, even for a small game like Huddersfield vs Cardiff, they give in depth descriptions for what is happening while in La Liga for example, small games get commentary like “corner conceded. Villarreal.” Or “ Goal. Getafe. Left footed shot into top corner”
This commentary is frankly boring while in the peen the game I mentioned before gets stuff like descriptions of the buildup to the goal and there is more emotion in the commentary. It’s just a little complaint not a big deal.

Waiting for articles to load

I really like OneFootball and would give it 5 stars but there is one problem. When I am reading the news articles, after about the first three that I read; I click on an article and then the page goes blank with the loading circle in the middle for a long time. Usually 2 or 3 minutes. I have had OneFootball on two different phones and used it on countless different WiFi’s. So the problem is not my phone or internet connection. Other than that, fantastic app, totally recommend it
