Live Soccer TV: Scores & Stats Reviews

LiveSoccerTV is literally the best and has always been everything I needed. Now it will hardly load and some times seems very glitchy.
The main screen line up of all games across all leagues is not as convenient for finding the game I’m looking for. ***edit, app wouldn’t even load today. Deleted and reinstalled and it looks like they at least went back to the traditional line up listing divided by leagues.*
I like the field position showing of players but would still like to be able to see the subs list after the game gets started.
I can appreciate the want for improvement and redesign, but not at the cost of quality. I’ll still give it 4 stars because it does provide a lot of useful information and I know there are always bugs to work out when such a big change come about.

1. Custom sorting my favorite leagues tends to revert back to some other sort. This is frustrating. I have quite a few leagues favorites… I spend some time creating the sequence I want only to have it revert back while I am doing it or soon after. The sort it is selecting is not user friendly and has had me unfavorite some leagues just to keep them from showing up too early in my matches view.
2. Landscape view needed. I typically use LiveSoccerTV on my ipad… which is typically attached to the keyboard in landscape. I have to remove the iPad from the keyboard each time I use LiveSoccerTV. Most of the other apps I use are fine in landscape.

If we can get these two items addressed… I’ll change the review to 5 stars.

I do like LiveSoccerTV. The latest upgrade fails for many, as reviews indicate. On my iPhone 6s, I was able to recover by uninstalling, then reinstalling. Happily they must store your preferences and favorite leagues in their cloud because I didn’t have to reset them.

A minor downside in the latest upgrade related to “lesser” favorite leagues that do not display in the main section, such as when ordering items By Time with various league games intermingled. These other leagues (such as Dutch Eredivisie) had previously displayed just below the main section. Now it displays alphabetically. It seems that marking a “lesser” league as a favorite has no discernible effect.

If I'm totally honest, I would say 4.5⭐️ for content, 4⭐️ for UI (I wish they would match iOS better, but it's usable). But I've been looking for quality soccer apps since LiveSoccerTV Store opened, and this is easily the best, so it gets scored on a curve. The only way it could be better is live game text info and for teams that provide web based audio streaming, one tap to listen. (I'm streaming an NUFC match as I type this.)

I set the reminders often, and use it to put my team's fixtures into my calendar. Both super useful.

I understand the need to improve but the latest upgrade took the absolute best, wonderful, amazing app and turned into buggy, annoying, maybe-I-should-look-around app with many sleeker and more modern design elements. But the old design wasn’t bad so the improvements there definitely do not make up for all of the annoyances it has now. I had to redo my competition preferences but they never stick now, I keep seeing leagues I don’t care about. Etc etc. You should have just changed the look and styling. I don’t see any improvements on functionality if not several steps back. Very disappointing but I knew they had it before so hope they will fix it.

Honestly...been using LiveSoccerTV for years and hyped it up to anyone I met that wanted to know scores, channels, especially great when traveling to find times/channels. Since this so called “update” which turned the icon from red to blue, placed some ads, now its just awful! Layout changes are one thing, but connectivity is poor, things like “not connected” when sorry I have always wifi or LTE. Slow to open or not at all. Cant scroll the tabs to table, lineups, etc like before. I think it’s a classical example of “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it” hesitated at first to leave a bad review because it’s been so great for years but I figured it would get fixed fairly quickly after this was released but it’s just terrible awful and no fixes in sight!

I loved the previous version, used it for anything soccer wise. The new version is much less organized, doesn’t show what leagues some games are being played in, and all scheduled games in “prominent” leagues are all shown together, in order of time. It gets a bit confusing. Also, I liked being able to see who was on the bench for games and now that’s not possible. Tough for someone who plays fantasy or something. I might be missing the way to see the rest of the squad that isn’t starting but I don’t think so. Would love to see that function back in. One thing I do like is now the formations are shown.

I’m like the most recent views got so much trouble with the new upgrade LiveSoccerTV I uninstalled it and reinstalled for few times but always works then later stops loading and it’s hard to navigate unlike before this upgrade used to be easy and clear to read so bottom line please listen to the so many people using your app and roll it back to the old version before the upgrade

I’ve been using LiveSoccerTV for what seems like a few years now. It’s in my Home Screen so that should tell you how often I check it.

It’s easy to use, reliable, data is always up to date and honestly the only bug that I’m aware of is when you open it, you try to go to the following day and it seems to skip a day. The easy work around is to just swipe left again and it corrects itself.

I probably use LiveSoccerTV a handful of times a day to keep up on games I want to watch around the world and I love it ! With that being said I would like to be able to “star” or “favorite” a team and be notified when they are playing. Right now I need to go and select each match individually to remind me of when the game will start, not a huge deal but would my experience when using LiveSoccerTV . 5 out of 5 stars for me though !!

LiveSoccerTV has been my life saver for the last few years!
It's alll knowing for any game you could think of. I will continue using it for as long as I can

EDIT: since I’ve started using LiveSoccerTV few years ago. It’s only ever giving me inaccurate information on game TIMES twice. Other then that they’re so accurate even with small leagues or small less popular teams. I use it mainly for the Mexican league and Mexican youth teams like U17, U20 and they’re always accurate with the times

I haven’t found a better app at displaying what tb channels to find a game in, which is what I initially Used LiveSoccerTV for but it has been improving update after update and now is the only app I use to also follow scores and table standings amongst multiple competitions. If you have $2 spare do like yours truly buy the apps free version because the devs deserve that

My only gripe would be that UI could be better with some changes

Great job app maker! I love soccer! Great app really good, I’m not a good review writer and I ran out of things to say, but this thing apparently has word counter with a word count minimum, and I’m just trying to pass the threshold. Great app though, seriously. If I would’ve had LiveSoccerTV before I wouldn’t have missed so many great games. Too many words on this minimum requirement. This will definately be the last review I ever do.

This is my go-to app to see whether or not there is any soccer available to watch on tv. LiveSoccerTV not only lists the games for the day but it also tells me which network they're on.

The one thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is that it's not a universal app so it's less than ideal using it on my iPad. For those of you saying "Just turn it", I usually have my iPad mounted in landscape mode so it's a bit of a pain to be forced to use an app in portrait mode. Make it universal and I'll update my review. Btw, this is not a paid review.

Revising my earlier review after the upgrade. I prefer the old version but can live with this one. The only complaint is there no longer seems to be a number indicating matches currently being played to the right of each league.. this is helpful for checking leagues you don’t usually follow, in those times of desperation when you just need to watch a match, any match! Thanks for the recent updates things are loading better now.

After a rocky road to updating LiveSoccerTV , it has returned to a stable state, and does what it does better than any other app of its kind. Indispensable app in my book. I do wish that if I ‘favorite’ a league that it would automatically set up notifications for all matches for that league. If that’s supposed to happen, it’s not for me. I go in daily or weekly and manually have to set up my notifications. Should be an automated process. That’s the 1 star knock on LiveSoccerTV rating...

I have found LiveSoccerTV to be one of the most reliable resources I use for the leagues I follow. I can easily find what matches are being played on a given day and where they can be viewed (channel or legal online streaming services). Broadcast info is given for other countries as well as your own. I've never had any problems with glitches, crashes, or slow response. 5-star app; highly recommended for soccer fans.

It's great being able to go to one place on my phone to see schedules for matches all over the world and where I can watch them. I like that you can sync game times/dates with your calendar. Im not always able to get the games I want to watch at work, so I do like getting the score updates from the Live Soccer TV app. I use it pretty much every single day. Excellent app for anyone that wants to stay informed about soccer games going on across the world!

Nope, I'm not a paid reviewer, LiveSoccerTV just asked me at the right time. I use LiveSoccerTV daily to see broadcast times and channels for my favorite teams. When you follow teams that play in La Liga, UCL, all the small cups that come along with it, you follow teams from different continents and your national teams, LiveSoccerTV keeps everything in one place nicely and neatly.
Lol, and as I'm writing this, I get a Live Soccer TV notification telling me that Real Madrid is playing in 30 minutes for Copa del Rey.

Not only does it list every game on tv anywhere, you can turn off any score notifications so you can check where games are playing with zero chance of accidentally seeing a score of games played or in progress. The only game it doesn’t capture is when my MLS team is airing on a local affiliate but that’s not really and issue b/c if it’s a nationally televised game it’s on LiveSoccerTV , if it’s locally televised it’s always the same channel.

It’s so straightforwardly good that you almost don’t think about it.

As an American who is a footy fan l, I use the ESPN app for news and tables for the Prem, Champions League, etc. but if I don’t know where a game is broadcasting, this one is just right on about all my options. LiveSoccerTV paired with a cable subscription w/ sports package and/or ESPN+ or maybe NBC Sports Gold pass and you can see mostly anything from phone/computer, or AppleTV or... LiveSoccerTV just breaks it down for you in real time. Simple and effective. Bravo...

I’ve been using LiveSoccerTV for about ten days and it’s a very good user interface where one can readily find virtually any significant team in the world. The only thing I can’t do it get it to switch to landscape view, though this is not a complaint by any means. I can easily scroll to monitor scores if I like and look at scheduled matches using the date fwd/back feature. It’s an app that’s hard to not like.

LiveSoccerTV is the go-to place for finding out who's playing, at what time, and how to watch football. It adjusts for your time zone, and it will send you notifications for when your team is playing. Although I mainly use it for US and English teams, it seems to carry schedules for every country and continent as well as more than the top league in these counties. Cup games are included.

LiveSoccerTV is great! I manage a soccer bar and anytime there is a match I can find the match, the time of the match, and what channel the match is on. It's a great asset to have when you show
live soccer on a constant. I also like the features of international leagues, and international play as well. I also like the you can view table standings for each league. This is just a great app, I use it all the time!

Probably the best app I have on my phone, you can pick whatever team or teams you want LiveSoccerTV to notify you 30 minutes prior to start. You can check TV listings for almost every channel that carries football weather it’s in your country or not. And of course the daily schedule of all matches, very well done app.

I use LiveSoccerTV primarily for finding out where a I can watch different games and it has always been a very reliable app. It even offers the opportunity to find leagues or competitions you might not have known about. Highly recommended for anyone who likes to catch games across the pond through a video stream.
