Got DribbleUpSoccer for Christmas for my 8 year old son. My wife and I, who have played soccer most of our lives, tried if the first foundation drills and they were so fast and ill-informed there is no way an 8 year old could do it. He tried and said he doesn't understand what is going on. The demonstrations are so short and at full speed, there is no way anyone can comprehend what the trainer is doing. There should be a tutorial in slow motion showing each step before you go straight into the session. What a scam. Wish i could get my money back.
i got it for christmas

i got it, and i was exited to use it. i quickly realized that it was NOT for beginners, it was frustrating, a PAIN to set up, and was just bad. We tried using it, and it was SO frustrating, i got very angry and was on the verge of tears because i had such high hopes. DO NOT GET IT IS TERRIBLE. It was a big waste of money, the camera doesn’t track, and it expects you to be as good as the coach! it gives you 30 seconds to do 22 reps! It was so sad because i was SO exited to use it when i got it, and then it was so bad! it made me cry, because 1: it took an HOUR to make an account. Then, it was so frustrating! it did NOT track you, it tracked anything yellow or round. DO NOT GET. I wish i could rate it less than 1 star! like negative 5 stars!
APP IS SUPER LAGGY

i got this dribble up soccer ball for christmas, and i was having fun with it, until DribbleUpSoccer started glitching! every time i tried to do a drill, the scanner wouldn’t work and then when the scanner did work, the tracker on the ball kept on glitching out! it was so frustrating because this was happening every time and i kept on having to restart it, which was messing up my practice time. overall, a decent experience. it’s a great idea, and was executed pretty well, but needs improvements to DribbleUpSoccer . thx
ps: i recommend adding a training schedule to your app. people can make a schedule and then DribbleUpSoccer reminds you when to train. pls consider
Good Idea, Needs Work

I’m a 13 year old soccer player and I got this for Christmas. I was very excited to learn the drills however, some of the drills were a tad hard for me and didn’t go into detail on how to do them. They also are very fast and I like to start out slow. So when I go slow, I’m not doing enough reps in the amount of given time. I think that there should be slower stages for beginners and more description on how to do each drill. Other than those issues, it is a good app and does help you learn.
However DribbleUpSoccer does not factor in small or petite players. For example my daughter is a petite 8 yr old so although she is doing the exercises correctly the width of the ball does not travel from one circle to the other and therefore her rep count, speed and agility are not correctly read which is quite frustrating. DribbleUp’s ball is best applied to the young beginner youth player, however its clear that the development was based on using adult leg size.
Good but needs work!

I’m a 13 year old Soccer player who loves to play I got the ball for Christmas and set it up, most of the stuff on there I didn’t know how to do it didn’t explain it and it just showed how to do it. I need lots of help understanding most things so got very stressed and was on the verge of tears and made me feel like I was awful at soccer and wasn’t able to play and should just quit because I couldn’t do any of it. Also HOW DO YOU GET DU ON DEMAND IT NEVER SAYS OR EXPLAINS HOW TO GET IT OR EVEN THAT YOU NEEDED IT TO GO LIVE!

I’m a first time soccer coach with a motivated 7 years old daughter who loves the competitiveness and technical work within the game of soccer. This system of soccer dribble up is amazing for so many reasons. First, it’s an APP and kids use nothing but their iPad and are so advanced from a technology standpoint so they love that concept. Second, it’s a game with a leaderboard which pushes them to want to “progress” with their ball touches and skill set! Brilliant for the young competitive minds to have something to drive for. My daughter loves climbing up the leaderboard. She woke up this morning and wanted to get touches in! DribbleUpSoccer also shows you the moves and uses key phrases every soccer coach should use early on, control control control!
Good for all positions.

I’m a 15 year old boy playing for a competition soccer team in Utah. I primarily play defensive wing and sometimes even goalkeeper (rarely). At first I thought DribbleUpSoccer was to help forwards and strikers score more goals in games, via footwork. After I used DribbleUpSoccer for a couple of days I realized it’s not just for strikers. I noticed that instead of just clearing balls up the field during games I would start controlling the ball and moving around the opposing players. This allowed me to find better passes to my team. Our team has one more game this year and if we win we will take second place in our age division. DribbleUpSoccer has helped me, and my teammates have better performance in games.
Amazing tool for Soccer Kids who love video games

My son is a great player who also loves gaming. Dribble-up is perfect for him. As soon as the ball arrived he set it up and before I could get home from work he had done two 15 minute sessions. Since then he has done it every morning before school and after school as well. It nets him and extra 1000 touches a day and the activities provided get him doing new things with the ball and pushing him to do the things he knows faster with better technique. I am so excited to see how this translates to the field.
App works great on both iPhone XR and iPAD. Will need cord from phone to TV to stream live. There is a delay if you use Chromecast. Also, phone camera needs to be parallel to floor to get a good read on the ball. Otherwise, it may not “see” or sense the ball. Overall, very satisfied with all the drills. I would recommend an animation or drawn out picture of the ball movement as some of the drills are hard to replicate and understand. I’m sure with time they will get it, it would just be a bonus to draw it out with lines and arrows.

I’m a father of 2. I played soccer all through my youth levels, represented south eastern US on the Olympic Development Program, and some Collegiate ball. I have plenty of knowledge to pass down and my boys have been receptive and in some cases not.
What I like about DribbleUpSoccer is it is a fun way to hit these technical drills. Teaching as a dad has many limitations even if dad has the knowledge. The kids need to be inspired on their own and master the techniques. And the leaderboard aspect is what my kids are excited about. Very good job Dribble Up!

Upon immediately opening and registering himself with Dribble Up my son ran drill after drill with a competitiveness to achieve a certain level. Very excited to see his enthusiasm. I was a bit disappointed when he all of a sudden stopped because he “daily workout” was achieved. It just seemed a bit premature but, hopefully, we can adjust the length of his workouts, if we feel they seem a bit short. But day one was exceptional! Great product!

The DribbeUp ball was the perfect present for an eight-year-old soccer maven. She is spending hours a day refining her skills with the ball and DribbleUpSoccer . The skills are well explained, easy to follow, and practical. Her game is definitely improving quite a bit (she was able to dribble everyone including the goalkeeper in one of her scores in yesterday’s game). What I like the most of this program is it’s simplicity. Get the ball, put the iPad on the stand, start DribbleUpSoccer , and boom, you are all set.
Kids love it!

The kids love it and I find that at their age, it’s the bang for the buck. Rather than paying for them to play in a league without them already mastered ball control fundamentals. After this New England winter, I think they’ll be ready to step out with more tricks up their bag. The free classes they are to send, I haven’t received so I’m waiting on those. I hope I receive them soon.
I didn’t know what to expect with this product but after day 1, I can say it was a great investment. I have a 7 and 10 year old and they love training with the product. They like it a lot more than Dad running them through drills. It also has a video game type of feel to it so they gravitated to it quickly.

Dribble UP website, customer service, and customer relations management all need work. This very basic, almost automated response, to questions leaves one to question if this is just a scam to get email addresses. I have not received the product yet, and I hope that experience will be more rewarding. For anyone considering this product- buyer beware.
