Find Your Car with AR Reviews

I’ve lost my car 2 times depending on FindYourCarwithAR . Literally is useless, the navigation was sending me the wrong way!!!

When an app keeps spamming for a review I leave one.

When I first downloaded FindYourCarwithAR it worked just fine. I liked it a lot. You could even use FindYourCarwithAR without the Augmented camera enabled. However, now they made it where FindYourCarwithAR does not work at all unless you give them permission or access to your camera. No thank you. Deleting

While FindYourCarwithAR is a good idea, it does not seem to work well at close range - like trying to find my car in a busy airport parking lot. Several times I've set the location of my car, outdoors, using the High Accuracy setting. Immediately it shows my car to be about 50 feet in the opposite direction. From a long distance away this may be ok, but a few days later it was no help. I had better luck with my car remote, chirping the horn when hitting the Lock button.

I thought I was doing something wrong, but alas, it turns on the camera for no particular reason at all. It would be smart to take a picture of where the car is, parking space number, nearby sign on a pole or something like that. But to turn on the camera withOUT taking a picture to find the car later is totally useless. I can see better through my own eyes than looking through the iPhone's camera viewer. The camera display in this program does absolutely nothing at all - but waste precious battery power.

If they update FindYourCarwithAR I would be happy to try it again.

App uses phone’s GPS but nevertheless REQUIRES being given access to the camera even if you tell it to use your map app instead. Thus granting FindYourCarwithAR access to your camera SHOULD be optional but it is NOT and FindYourCarwithAR refuses to work for yoh if you do NOT - strange and questionable, at least to my way of thinking regarding privacy and security matters.

This once simple and dependable app was turned into a finicky overly complicated one by the upgrade. Unlike in the past, you often have to try over and over again for it to set your car’s location.

They have no business snooping on my camera.

The annoying prompt at the application start must go.

Accurate enough. But I need to be able to add a note to a saved setting. Previous app I had could add a note and a picture of where the car was parked.

Would be great if those functions were added.

I've used FindYourCarwithAR about 10 times now, and less than half of those times took me to my car. Usually, it's accurate in direction if I'm very far away (about 1 or 2 blocks), but as I get closer, it points 45-90 degrees in another direction, and as I'm sitting in my car, FindYourCarwithAR says I still have 20 feet to go! I can see how this would be good at a theme park with a huge parking lot to get you at least to the right vicinity you parked in, but you still should try to simply remember where you parked.

Yea, I usually don't post reviews, but this works! Just flew in from Denver. I had a pretty good idea where my car was already, but gave this a try and sure enough took me right to it. I was a little leery because it didn't look like it took a pic or anything, but like magic took me right to it. I was in a parking garage, no less. Starts out with an arrow pointing in the general direction, then brings up what looks like a green viewfinder when you point in the general direction of your car. Pretty cool app! Haven't used it enough yet to get 5 stars.

I use FindYourCarwithAR to find my car in Philly Airport Parking Lot. I was gone for 4 days and need something to remind me where I park my car. I like FindYourCarwithAR since it is just basic and simple but you need to put in some note to help remind you where you park your car. It is 30 ft. off from where I park my car but the direction arrow did help and you should be able to see your car that far. Minus 1 star for less than accurate and no place to put a note to help remind you where you park your car like landmarks or near what place. If you want something basic and simple, FindYourCarwithAR is for you.

Car Finder is a game-changer, offering a stress-free way to locate my parked car. Its accuracy and user-friendly interface make it indispensable for every driver.

I move my car, sometimes very early in the morning. I also travel a lot. FindYourCarwithAR saves me a ton of problems with both of those things. Easy five stars.

And for the "battery hog" review -- don't leave it running for two hours, dummy! Just set the location and exit FindYourCarwithAR . Fire it up when you need it. Leaving it run is just .... Not bright.

Parking in extremely large parking lots or anywhere too new used to present the possibility for confusion but no more. FindYourCarwithAR takes me right to my car every time.

I have tried several "find my car" type apps with mixed results. I think this one is a keeper. Simple to use, calibrates and loads quicker than most, and actually points to my car! (as it, of course, should! :-) )

I was happy FindYourCarwithAR is free to try and a mear .99 to remove the dreaded ads and unlock other small features.

BTW, this seems to work fine on my 6+ with iOS 9.3.4.

Best AR app for parking, I use this so often, it’s a game changer for people who forgot where they parked, Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, FindYourCarwithAR helped me find my car easily amongst the crowds trying to get out all at the same time,,, using since 2012

FindYourCarwithAR is simple to use and takes me back to within 10 feet of my car. The augmented reality, where you can look through the camera, is a good way to figure out which row you've parked in. Suggestion for using it: Before you mark your spot take 7 seconds to hold the phone flat and move it around so the GPS gets an accurate lock on your position.

I use FindYourCarwithAR when we go to the Renaissance Festival, concerts, or anytime we’re parking in an unfamiliar place. It’s never let me down.

FindYourCarwithAR has been great for theme parks! Anywhere that is an open parking lot. this makes it easier to find my car. The only issue would be parking garages, but that’s a given.
