What a greet children’s app!

I rarely write reviews for apps, but I just wanted to say thanks for making such a beautifully designed learning game.

Not only is it entertaining with the fundamental games for letters, numbers, matching (and more) but the simple design with a lack of menu is perfect.

I can’t stress how nice it is to have an app that my son (who loves to find and press buttons) doesn’t end up stuck in a menu accidentally and can honestly just keep exploring within the game to his heart’s content.

Thanks for all the hard work and thought you put into this game, I’ll be sure to recommend it to anyone!

Great apps, but need improvement

My babies love this apps and it worth the money. However, please remove the purple music note on the bottom right of each page. It is annoying when my babies accidentally touch it and we have to fix it. Also, it is not necessary to have it on every page. Leave it on the first page is fine.

Love this one!

FishSchool says it’s for 4 year old but my 2 year old loves it. She pokes the fish and just watches them. Thanks duck duck moose!

Game

I remember this game on my iPhone 1 or something I now have iPhone 10

Diamond is not a shape

Very disappointed that they use the name diamond to represent the rhombus. As a mom and a math teacher, I hate when children’s toys, apps, etc. tell children the wrong information. It just confuses them when they go to school.

Fun in Kindergarten

I was a 3-year-old girl and I poked so many fish!

8 Great Games for less than $1!

Having the Wheels on the Bus by Duck Duck Moose, I knew we would also love Fish School. It is colorful, bright, and very kid-friendly. To change games you just click the bottom button on the left of the screen and it goes to one of the other 7 games available. There is just so much to do that I have yet to see my son get bored or even play all the games for that matter. My 3 year old is at the perfect age for this game as he is learning his letters, shapes, numbers, colors, and item differences. Then there are two other games that inlcude memory and just playing around with fishes!

I highly recommend Fish School if you have a preschool or even kindergarten-aged child and are looking for an App that is fun but also educational. Even when I was reviewing FishSchool I enjoyed it! For less than $1 it is an awesome App to get your child excited about learning and what better way than with adorable fish!

Duck Duck Moose Apps Are Brilliantly Designed!

Duck Duck Moose Apps Are Brilliantly Designed!

It is in my humble opinion and as a mother of a 2 1/2-year-old developmentally delayed child that I have to firmly state how well DDM knows how a toddler thinks. I have purchased many other toddler apps that I get stuck with never using because of frustrating, opening page, option menus (that are not shown in the screen shot examples) that toddlers have no clue how to use. DDM apps start the fun right away on the first page and I cannot thank them enough for it. I will never hesitate to pay full price knowing how well these apps are designed. If it's made by DDM, it's FishSchool for us! Thank you, DDM, every so kindly for your extremely high quality products. -A

Awesome!!!

This is an extremely full-featured edutainment app, and all for a buck. Though my 1-2 year old loves wheels on the bus, also by duck duck moose, it is fairly limited in scope. Itsy bitsy spider is much more creative and interactive and totally engages him. FishSchool though is in a league of its own, much more depth with various rich activities for learning and games. I like how the numbers go up to 20 instead of only 10. The whole app is well thought out and executed. The other duck duck apps are more strictly for entertainment while this one both entertains and educates. For the same price, it's an amazing value. It's also better than other education apps I've looked at for the young toddler.

Awesome app!!!!

I am a special education teacher who works with children with autism. It is sometimes difficult to find motivating and interactive apps to aid in their learning. I bought FishSchool to aid one of my students in learning his letters. He loves fish and the colorful fish are highly motivating! This highly interactive app provides great visuals and auditory cues to support learning letters, numbers, shapes, colors and differences. He has had so much success I started using it with other students and they have had equal success!!! Great app and worth every cent!

Its ok. Nothing special

Got this for my son who will be 3 in july. He LOVES fish. So i thought he would really like this game. He does play it but gets annoyed and bored w/it easily. He doesn't like havin to keep taping it over and over to do the abc...and alot of times u tap and it doesn't change. He does like the find the differences game. There are alot better apps out there i have found for him. Wouldn't buy this again or tell a friend about it...Disappointing..

I Heart DDM

I LOVE Duck Duck Moose apps! They are, by FAR, the best toddler apps out there! My 19 month old loves this new app and keeps asking for the "fishies!"

My only complaint, and this happens in every DDM app, is that if I get a call while one of the apps is running, when I hit "ignore" to go back to FishSchool , the sound no longer works. I have to quit FishSchool and restart for the sound to work again.

Other than that, I Highly recommend this and every other ddm app!

Saved me from a fancy-pants restaurant melt-down

My best friends invited my 2.5 year old and I to a fancy, fine-dining establishment (I should note that these are friend without kids of course :) I was expecting a bit of a melt down, but when things got hairy I produced my iPhone and my daughter played with Fish school for 45 minutes. If you have a two year old, you know that's like 3 days in kid time. Thanks Duck Duck Moose!

Fantastic!

My 2 yr old loves FishSchool. It's currently his favorite. He practices letters, numbers, shapes, colors, it's great. He's also learned how to play the memory game with FishSchool and has gotten pretty good at it. Duck duck moose makes fantastic apps, but fish school is probably one of my favorites, both for educational content and ability to appeal to kids and hold their attention. After all, a great app is useless if your kids don't want to play with it.

8 games in 1 app

Schools of fish swim around and form letters, numbers, shapes. There's a color game that makes all the fish turn one color. There's a spot the different fish game. And, there's a matching game. My 3 yo especially likes the colors, differences, and matching. She really likes being able to choose the activities herself and navigate everything without help.

Great app for 1 to 3 yr olds

We like all of the DDM apps, have to say that at close to 3 yrs old, this one and park math are the only ones not completely outgrown. This one still has a few things to engage them. But great value for the money, and kids are mesmerized by the colorful fish. Have to say too that since alphas are spelled out by fish, it does less for printed alpha recognition than other apps.

One of my 2 year olds favorite apps

He likes that there are things you can discover and play with in each screen. Mom likes that he is learning no matter what he does. There are several different things to learn: alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors and differences/comparisons. All are set to nice music and let him play with fish. Great app!

Learning Letters

My 2.5 year old is entranced by these fish. He loves watching them move and then moving them himself. He will swipe through the ABC letters and make them go faster and faster. I love that he's learning as he's having so much fun. He has shown a lot more interest in letters, even outside FishSchool.

Best app for my 3 year old son

I have no complaints for FishSchool. My son is a very intense kid and very high energy. I loved this and was able to stay occupied for longer than usual. He figured everything out on his own which gave him confidence to play the other games. FishSchool is very toddler friendly!! Thank you DDG!

The picture is skewed and doesn’t fill iPad screen

I’ve deleted and redownloaded this twice and it will not open full screen, nor in the normal ratio. It’s skewed in a strange way and black boxes are blocking the necessary parts even if we chose to accept the skewed view. So frustrating because it seems like a game my son would love :(
