I have to admit, I used to love using MPRDrugandMedicalGuide for quick references, now they decided to charge for using the app, when you have advertising, the users should not have to pay, the PDR app is more comprehensive and accurate, loving using the free app
This was a great free app I recommended to all my colleagues and residents. Now it’s no longer free and massively overpriced for the changes they’re proposing—and not only do they now expect you to pay, you have to pay extra for anything not the basics. No ads isn’t worth $35 a year. Sorry, but time for me to delete MPRDrugandMedicalGuide.
After working fine for a few weeks now it booted me out and I can’t log back in despite paying a year’s subscription I cant even reset my password. Either they are having major issues in which case you shouldn’t buy it or it’s a rip off and again you shouldn’t buy it.
I used to enjoy MPRDrugandMedicalGuide and be able to find any kind of meds, even from other countries... Today I was looking for blood thinners, heart meds even some meds but every time was: no matches found. I’m very upset and I think I’ll uninstall it.
I have received complimentary access to MPR since I was a medical student over 20 years ago. First to the periodical and then to MPRDrugandMedicalGuide . I updated my app and all the sudden I have to pay? I thought the ads by the pharmaceutical companies underwrite the physician access. Disappointed to say the least. Had been a big fan all these years.
I am an FNP and find MPRDrugandMedicalGuide useful. I do my documentation on iPad Pro connected to iPad Pro keyboard. It would be nice to have MPRDrugandMedicalGuide work in landscape mode in order to use split screen function. Currently I have to turn the iPad to use MPR app then re-orient iPad and re-sign in to EMR afterward. I could use MPR on iPhone except I use the I phone as my telemedicine conduit.
I have been using MPRDrugandMedicalGuide for quite a while and really liked it. But I am wondering what is the difference between the silver membership and gold membership? Also, why are there 2 items listed for each membership (there are 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze listed for subscription in Apple Store), are those duplicates or completely different memberships? Thank you!
This is my absolute go to for good drug information, but agree with other reviewers that drug interaction info would be helpful. Also hard to find information on old drugs that have been out forever, but are still prescribed.

Really like this reference and very easy to access as a phone app. Very disappointed that they started charging for it; and expensive as well.
Charging new fees for a service that is widely available elsewhere for no charge seems ludicrous and a betrayal to those of us who have found it convenient to use in the past.
