I got Kappboom because I wanted a live wallpaper and I went through a million apps and it is not anything I would be looking for and it really is weird to see a live wallpaper app and not get a live wallpaper and I'm not sure if it for new Ipads or if it's only for phones but I was really disappointed with it but the wallpaper is beautiful and I really like Kappboom but if you are like computer wiz and I'm just dumb and don't know how to make it live but if it really isn't live and your looking for a live wallpaper its not really the thing you want. But I am still keeping Kappboom It's still an amazing app and if you like still wallpaper then this is for you.🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

I’m not a Diamond subscriber. I certainly understand the developers desire and need to make a profit from their work. I did pay for the ads to be removed at an earlier time and that has been continued.
That being said I still feel the quality and quantity of choice is among the best, if not the best for backgrounds with this app.
The resolution of the images is outstanding, and with over 10,000 to choose from, with very frequent new content, I’m quite happy with Kappboom . Most other offerings are far behind this and I appreciate the developers’ proactive approach to answer users’ concerns.

A friend of mine had Kappboom, and we used it to play a game over messages. Then I thought, ‘Hey. I need a better wallpaper.’ The other apps I had gotten were trash, but this has no adds, thousands of selections in every category, is completely free, adds new wallpapers every day, and you can search for what you want instead of just picking a category. Search ‘rain’ and a million different TYPES of results for rain pop up. Rain, wet flowers, water drops on leaves, puddles, etc. all showed up. If I could rate it 8 stars, I would. 👍

This is the only wallpaper app I have ever paid for and I’ve had it for years . I have zero interest in live wallpaper or inspirational stuff. I can’t seem to move past the “get Diamond” ads. I usually catch on after a while, but I just can’t seem to open Kappboom , search what I’m looking for and get the selections. Maybe I’m old. But I know I’m not impressed anymore. Sorry. Kappboom is now everything I am NOT looking for. I hope it works out for you guys. You provided a great product for years that I enjoyed and used often. I’m still wondering why you didn’t create a separate app for just live and inspirational off of the platform you created with this one? Then again, I’m not a developer. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Btw, and this isn’t to be mean.....but the K on Kappboom reminds me of the old Kellogg’s K, now that it’s been revamped.

I have never paid for a subscription to a wallpaper app in my life and will never do so. I understand expenses which is why Kappboom is add driven. That should be enough. Especially if you were offering a one time purchase to remove the ads. Perhaps the revenue from this model was not enough, yet in your infinite wisdom, you believe people will pay 50 dollars a year for content that is readily available for free with a simple google search. Had you had artists offering their creations, then you may be on to something with a subscription. Your expenses are not anyone else's concern. You offer nothing more than any other wallpaper app. All your content is free in other apps. You don’t seem to understand this. But you will. Your app has been deleted, and you won’t bamboozle a penny out of me.

I used to like Kappboom. Hadn’t tried it for a while and went to open it. All of a sudden there’s some woman’s voice loudly blabbering about subscriptions. I’m in a quiet place, so thanks this app! I don’t want subscriptions, don’t want the noise, don’t want the taptic engine pinging away! I feel like I’ve been ambushed and I press a “continue button” to try to get the hell out and back to the normal app. But -- POOF! I’M SUBSCRIBED! And after a short free trial I’d be charged $50!!!. Yeah I should have paid more attention but you know what this app? You knew exactly what you were doing, hoping to sucker people who’ve become accustomed to your app. Being unethical to put it mildly. I’ve cancelled the bogus subscription, removed your app, and filed a complaint with Apple. Lowest possible rating.

App is great! Cool wallpapers, cool edits, it’s all great. Except for this new “Diamond” program. I get it, developers gotta make some money. But the issue is, sometimes when I’m scrolling, I click on a picture before checking if it’s Diamond. Then, I get a full screen pop up asking me to subscribe to Diamond! The makers of this advertisement didn’t even have the DECENCY to include a little “x” in the top right corner. Nope. The only way out of the pop up is to
a) subscribe to Diamond!
b) watch a thirty-second video (and unlock the wallpaper)
c) close Kappboom completely, re-open it, and oh look! You lost your place.
It’s disgusting! The fact that they put a pop-up that you CANT EVEN CLOSE! I’m honestly horriffied.

Hi! I just want to say to the developer/s of this app did an amazing job on Kappboom. When I first saw it, I thought it was just an ordinary app with blank backgrounds. But I decided to install it to give it a shot. When I entered, it was voice recorded which really loved. I wanted something simple,but not too simple. When I found my favorite insect, a butterfly, on one, I knew this was perfect. Thank you To the developer/s of Kappboom for making it inspirational, but.. Just amazing in general. I have loved your app for years, but your recent update today simply made Kaboom unusable for me. I appreciate you made a decision to push a new $60/year Diamond Subscription, but your app now not only pushes it way too hard, but introduced ads interspersed with graphics that were not there before ... I suspect in large part so you could differentiate why the Diamond Subscription was now necessary.

Anyway, count me out. I don’t appreciate an app I’ve used being changed to force ads on me. Very disappointed in your new annuity approach for those of us that were users of your application. I’m sad, disappointed, and am now deleting Kaboom from my devices.

Kappboom is wonderful and I highly suggest buying it. It gives you a variety of child-friendly amazing quality pictures to chose from and you can even edit the photos to your liking before downloading. I haven't even tested out half of Kappboom and I already can tell that it is truly spectacular! It even comes with stickers for your texting needs(or so I've been told) and you can save the photos for later by tapping the heart. Stupendous app❣

They have beautiful pics! I enjoy them all! It's fun to have different wall papers n screen savers. I recommend it highly to any one. My family enjoys them also.

Love their Daily this app. They have Daily reminders and so much more. Their Wallpapers of water falls, beaches, nature, are breath taking. Cute animal pics. I have had Kappboom for years and have shared them with my family n friends. Though I wish they had more Christmas, birthday n holiday ones. Thanks n I wish the developers the best. I enjoyed ur app.

I cannot say enough about this free application- everything about it is great- I never have any problems with the application. The pictures are very sharp and varied, search function is great, and it's a very intuitive overall. You can even modify the wallpapers to your liking within Kappboom . And I just discovered today you can turn off the sound on Kappboom too- wonderful! Go nowhere else, this is the only wallpaper app you will ever need.

Love the photos and ease of use. The only place I was disappointed was that the social media post function keeps failing. Yes, you can work around it by downloading the edited pic and then going directly into desired media to create a post, but it is always nice when a menu feature works the way it is intended. The wide variety of backgrounds allows you to express and highlight virtually anything!

I’ve been a user and lover of Kappboom for years and while this is primarily a wallpaper app, one of its best features is its iMessage stickers. Unfortunately, the iMessage stickers feel like a project now abandoned. You could once sort the stickers by category, but that is no longer an option, and many of the holiday stickers have dates on them that are years old. It’s a shame, because Kappboom, in my opinion has the best iMessage sticker library available. It also seems impossible to reach the developer, to let them know of the issue.

this is the only wallpaper app that has a search function i have ever seen. it also has very few ads, and the wallpapers are stunning. hands down the best wallpaper app. and the fact that it has disney wallpapers makes me want to give it 100/5 stars, tysm for this amazing app!!! edit: only problem is that ads are too easy to click! it keeps bringing me to safari. oh, and some wallpapers are cut off, like they were once a desktop wallpaper or something but then they were poorly cropped so that you can only see part of the picture. but still the best wallpaper app

2nd edit: duuuuuuude if u rotate ur phone to the side the wallpaper becomes a desktop wallpaper, this is the coolest wallpaper app ever 😝

This is the best wallpaper app, but I hate how when you open it, it forces you to go to the ones with inspirational quotes, opens one up automatically, and reads it out loud. Then you have to back out of all that to actually go to the category you wanted to look at. It’s so annoying. What are the odds that this random wallpaper they force you to go to is one you’ll actually want to pick? It just adds unnecessary steps before you can start using Kappboom . If they’d do away with that, I’d give it 5 stars.

I’ve had Kappboom since before high school in either 7th or 8th grade and it’s been a great app to have. I use the collage editor a ton because of events I host or memes with friends haha, and the photo editor is really nice and intuitive! Also I’m a free user, never paid for anything in Kappboom and you can get a lot of use out of it. Definitely recommend.

One of the first apps I downloaded and paid for years ago. Now there is a pay wall because they were not making money. They claimed they were losing "millions". Well, that was this app's choice to continue year after year and lose millions, whoever did you even continue? Is that something we knew about when we bought Kappboom ? So now you come in, steal what we bought because there was ONLY ONE CHOICE at the time and give us a sob story. You're retroactively blaming us for a choice we weren't even given. We should be grandfathered in pure and simple. 10 bucks a month? That's an overreach.

This is a very cool you can look at live wallpapers! And when I looked people make or say it is live wallpaper but when I go in it Kappboom lies but I found Kappboom and it is amazing it even has real life wallpaper it is very nice I would very very recommend Kappboom to everyone this is amazing they did this very good one thing I would like to see in Kappboom is sans wallpaper this is awesome please get it Kappboom is amazing!!!

I have found so many different wallpapers and have had Kappboom for less then a day. The inspirational quotes are nice to. I recommend Kappboom to anyone even if your not looking for a new background you could just use it for the quotes. But the background s that they have a amazing I have already changed mine like 500 times. Amazing app

I really like this app, all of the other wallpapers apps I’ve used makes me watch an ad or even 2 to get the wallpaper and this app didn’t make me watch an add for every wallpaper. However, after an update there was the “diamond subscription” and special wallpapers that requires you to either watch an ad or pay for a no ad subscription. There were also live wallpapers that “only worked” for 6s and later phones, I have an iPhone SE which, in fact, came out after the 6, 6s, 6s+, etc. but it didn’t work, I used a friends iphone 7s+ and the live wallpapers still didn’t work. I deleted this app for a while and then decided to get it. The live wallpapers were not coming up so now I use it often for both my phone and iPad. Thank you this app :)
