ZipRealty - Homes for Sale Reviews

ZipRealty is one of the best, if not the best app out there for looking for homes. It remembers your recently viewed homes for your price range in a certain area you searched for, and brings you back to that same location when you click on your saved search section which is a plus if you want to recheck your previously liked homes.

And it’s interface is very easy to use and scroll through. Everything is clean and bug less. Which is why I give it 5 stars! 👌🏻

I’ve been using it for more than a year. Solid app! Finally found a place I want and connected with a rep thru ZipRealty .

I love browsing homes and have really enjoyed the time I’ve spent using ZipRealty. However now you have to zoom to get homes to load, and when it does load, it loads slowly. This past weekend I went to an open house (that I found through ZipRealty) now today I don’t see the listing as well as some other homes that I saw listed on ZipRealty last night. It could be ZipRealty is struggling with the recent iOS so hopefully the next this app update will resolve these annoying quirks.

I downloaded ZipRealty back in the day, and I loved it. I saved several homes. Then I got a new phone and had to redownload it. I tried signing in with the same info, but I couldn't get in. It recognized my email, so I had to change my password. Once I finally changed it I was able to sign it, but it is much more impersonal that it was before. So I tried updating my info in my account, and it wouldn't accept it. So I tried to continue as "user". But it's not even allowing me to save homes. I hope this is just a temporary bug, as I'd like to keep using ZipRealty . But if this keeps up, I'll have no choice but not to.

It would have been nice for you to include a disclaimer that your app does not include data for all parts of the United States. I downloaded ZipRealty only to find out that my area is “not serviced” and for me to try searching in another area (which does me no good since I know where I want to live). Will you kindly list all zip codes you do not service to save others the time and hassle of downloading your app and creating an account only to find out they aren’t allowed to use your app?

Can not expand photos on iPhone X which is really frustrating. After downloading ZipRealty , if I click a link to a listing from my email, it takes me to the link in my browser and not ZipRealty . When I click the link, “open in app,” it says it cannot open in app because the address is invalid. What’s the point of downloading ZipRealty if nothing works?? Please fix these issues so I can continue using this app!

This is a hard site to define specific areas to search, for example a certain neighborhood. Also, hard to delete old saved searches, they just keep accumulating for your account. Hard to reset search parameters without setting up a new search, that then can’t be deleted. Not sure how to turn off email notices. Just plain clunky and feels very old and non-user friendly.

ZipRealty is okay to use for looking but has too many bugs and shuts off without warning. Lost searches and no way to delete multiple saved homes at a time. Could you some more work and updates

I found my current house on ZipRealty. My realtor was amazed how I was finding homes before her. I was a huge advocate for this app. Now ZipRealty has a lot of issues. You have to continue to zoom in and out for houses to show up. Not all houses for sale show up. Houses that have sold still show up. I wouldn’t recommend. Redfin or Zillow much better.

I love how easy it is to filter what I’m looking for. I even have school ratings on the map to ensure that I’m focused on neighborhoods near great schools.

So user friendly, organized, and accurate info

When you search on the map, homes vanish. If you zoom in they appear. Its rather frustrating and you can’t get the draw tool to work correctly. Once you get it calibrated just right, it glitches and resets. Good luck saving your search

I put in the search for Bay Area under $700k and it crashed... I felt like it was telling me something or laughing at me in a way..

I loved ZipRealty my iPad but on my iPhone, it stinks. I could barley read where to put my name and password the letters were so light. In ZipRealty , I could barely read the info on the properties as the letters were dark grey on light grey back ground. I’m deleting it.

Love this site just needs more interior pics of property

When I first downloaded it, it was easy to use, I was able to look around, now most of the time ZipRealty doesn’t work 7 out of ten times it doesn’t show anything. Frankly I’m getting frustrated with ZipRealty .

Used to work good,I don’t know what happened now it does nothing but aggravate you. It tells you that it’s not a service area when you were there like yesterday. I’m about ready to delete it

Lately ZipRealty is not working the same, you get the same listing show up 3 times. When you search in a certain area you get a message “sorry we don’t currently service this area”

Used to love ZipRealty. Now it seems to limit listings that appear and the price history is missing. Have delete and moved to Redfin.

ZipRealty keeps asking for feedback so here it is.
Cludgy interface.
Database doesn’t class house by type. You want a ranch? Hopefully it’s in the raw txt.
Feature buttons on map view take up so much you are always clicking them while trying to scroll.
Thus app will eat your leftovers whil you aren’t looking.
ZipRealty has poor personal hygiene.
Until you rate ZipRealty, it will keep asking you to do so every five minutes.
