Order it. Have sent several emails no response. Login doesn't work on the iPhone app only on the Internet. Customer service horrible. Don't buy online service.

March update: Just did the most recent update. It's still worthless. Used to be such a great app. No longer. I paid for my years subscription back in February and it has been unusable since.

Below is my review from years ago. Now, not so much. Since the update, RoadSnap is unusable. Support used to be very responsive. Now, no emails are getting responses. I paid my annual fee in February for NOTHING.

Used the book for a while but now have been using RoadSnap for years, first on my iPod Touch now on my iPhone. When you're pulling a large horse trailer all over half of the country and also need diesel fuel, RoadSnap is a godsend. I have no complaints and the one time I needed support, I got great help via email.

I will upgrade if the iPhone app gets fixed. No response from support. It took my money just fine from the iPhone app! But will not Signon. My Signon will work online, but it's difficult to read on my phone. I bought it for RoadSnap . Love the books, but wanted newly updated!

After putting in all my information to sign up when I click continue it says to check the captcha checkbox to confirm I am a real human. But there is no captcha checkbox. So I can't even get past the sign up screen. Guess I'm not human 😕

Road Ninja disappeared so I was looking for a replacement. I saw this and it makes you create an account right away and THEN it tells you it is a trial, with a purchase price AFTER you sign up. I don't want to have a trial subscription that runs out before my next road trip.

I’m frustrated with RoadSnap. It required me to sign up for a free 14 day trial which then automatically converts to a one year subscription. I don’t want a one year subscription and want to cancel out but haven’t been able to figure out how to cancel. I don’t see it in Apple subscriptions. This is a pain.

RoadSnap worked for the last 2 years. When they upgraded RoadSnap you can no longer log on!! I am extremely disappointed by the lack of communication from this company. I either want my money back or for someone to acknowledge my repeated attempts at communication with this company!! What happened???

I got RoadSnap because it seemed to be really usefull while traveling and because it's free. Once you downloaded RoadSnap you have to register at a website for the service and pay a fee to use it. Would rather pay for RoadSnap instead of paying for a service. Can't recomend the product with this policy.

I am in the 14 day trial. I was suppose to get a password to open RoadSnap . The password never came. I’m trying to contact and it keeps saying error. I’m trying to reset password and it’s just a blank screen. This is horrible. I’ve never been so frustrated. We are on the road now and need this info and have nothing. I’m cancelling if it will let me.

I got RoadSnap for a cross country move since it was about the same cost as the book and I wouldn't have to fuss with the book in the truck. Big mistake! RoadSnap crashes constantly and it isn't nearly as simple to understand as the books are. The layout for the entries is so cramped that you can't make a quick glance to find things. Great idea, poor execution. If this also had a map and GPS function it would almost be worth the hassle. Just get the book instead...at least it won't crash when you need it!

The book was so much easier to use because of you could quickly find the state and road your on along with your location with just a flip of a page and a quick scan.

Notes about the exits could be written on the page, and you didn't need to pay for a book each year either.

RoadSnap separately needs a gps option. Too hard to find what you need. No way to search for what you needed either.

But they sure got the subscription service down pat though.

Good product. But the book forget RoadSnap . It needs work.

We already purchased the hard copy book. It's very useful & I recommend it. However, there should be a way to use RoadSnap without paying for it again!

I recently drove across the entire USA, and tried to use The Next Exit (book and app). It was so difficult to use RoadSnap during RoadSnap (at night camping, or pulled over at a rest stop) because RoadSnap does not take advantage of Location Services to orient itself to the route you are on, the NEXT EXIT you are coming up to.

Every time you come back to RoadSnap you have to find the route you are on, the state you are in, and the exit you are near. Really, such a pain, that I gave it up each day after trying to use it for the first 100 miles.

I won’t be renewing.

All the information in RoadSnap is great. It's really helpful when driving with two people. Two things that would make it better are location services and two finger swipe to read page when driving alone. Note that almost every other app does these two things easily.

We just moved across the country in a big Uhaul and towing a car dolly. RoadSnap made our trip go so much smoother because we knew exactly where to stop next especially for gas. Google does not provide the same help that RoadSnap does!

RoadSnap is awesome and the company is up gront about the inexpensive annual fee of $15. To the ones complaining, opperating and maintaining a business costs money! If you can't afford $15 a year, than you don't make enough to afford an iphone....

I had problems from the start but an email to Meg at next exit solved my problems. RoadSnap works well and I appreciate the support.

The Next Exit is great when traveling. This version is very easy to use when you are on the road. We have used the print version for many years.
They are not liars or spammers.....the description clearly says it is for existing subscribers.

Just used this for my holiday travel...much improved from the last version, I must say! The GPS feature works really well. I love the "find me" button. Looks like the information itself has been redesigned or something because it's SO much easier to read and follow.

I think several of the ratings of RoadSnap are a bit off base. I really like RoadSnap. There is a $14 subscription fee but it is plenty useful to be worth it if you do a lot of interstate highway driving. Rather than using the GPS and searching multiple times for different types of services, you can just look at the list of upcoming highway exits and see everything available at that exit. Much faster (no waiting on search or GPS) and more useful information. The information has proven to be very accurate in my use so far. Overall, very helpful. I used to drive a truck in the summers, this would have been a godsend.
