I am most pleased to post a review for the CLZ Book App. I truly love CLZBooks. I searched for a cataloguing library app for years to catalog my book library. For years, I kept a paper copy of my books, but found this to be ineffective due to the fact that my collection over the past twenty-five years had grown by the thousands. But luckily, I kept searching and found the CLZ Book App. A couple of years ago, I read all of the reviews and convinced myself to purchase CLZBooks . Over the past couple of years, I have spent so much money on apps that promise, but do not deliver. But after purchasing CLZBooks, I can honestly say that my faith was restored. This is the BEST app for developing and maintaining

a library. It’s easy to input the information about books and the developers are constantly making changes to make this the best book cataloguing app ever. In the couple of years that I have used CLZBooks, I have found the developers are very responsive and responded quickly whenever I had an issue. If you are looking for an app to develop your library, the CLZ Book App is the answer. I highly recommend CLZBooks and give it a 5. If I could, I would give it a 5+++++.

I have been using CLZ Books for over 5 years. I have over 1000 books in my collection from children’s fiction, adult fiction, and nonfiction. It was so easy to add my books into the database. I can categorize them how I want so they are easy to find. Plus there is a search button for quick finds. It is so nice to have my entire book collection at the tip of my fingers when I am out shopping. Before using, I can’t tell you how many time I purchased multiple copies of the same book because I couldn’t remember if I already owned it. The support is phenomenal! They responded quickly and even on weekends.

I have had CLZBooks for years. (I should mention that I have their movie and music apps too.) I find them to be simple to use if you want to stay simple but still have the ability to make it as detailed as you could need. I found CLZBooks to be particularly helpful because I stored my books/media (it does audio books too) in two locations. This helped me to track exactly where they were and/or if I had loaned them out to any of my friends/family. Also, by having my data synced on my home PC as well as the phone, I knew it was always up to date. When I’m out scrounging through garage sales, I can always check my phone to know if I’ve got the book I’m looking at and whether it’s a paperback or hardcover version. I highly recommend CLZBooks.

CLZ Books is working so well for us. We have used it to catalog over 3,000 books in our church library. It has taken us a couple of months but we have been able to entirely eliminate our physical card catalog. We can post a link on our Facebook page so that people can see what books are available in the library. They can search and sort but they can’t change any of the data. We still use, and probably always will, the physical envelope and cards in the books. People can sign the book out using the card and we check the book out in CLZBooks so that we can keep track of what books are borrowed.

The ability to search and sort books is the feature we like most. You can sort based on any category.

The cost of using CLZBooks and the online website is minimal. I can’t imagine ever needing any other app to organize our extensive library.

There are continual app updates. They are always working to make it better. New features are added all the time. You will not be disappointed with CLZBooks or the online database.

Customer service is excellent. They usually respond to any issue or question within one day.

I’ve been using Collectorz Book Collector for many years now, first on the Windows platform and then iOS as soon as CLZBooks was available. It’s very easy to add and edit on either platform (but using CLZBooks to scan barcodes is the easiest IMHO) and even easier to sync between them. CLZBooks has kept me from buying tons of duplicate books for my daughter (since I don’t read hers it’s difficult to remember all the ones she has). Technical support is also top notch. Over the years I’ve only had to contact them a handful of times but every time they’ve responded within 24 hours and had a solution for my problem, if not immediately, within a reasonable timeframe. I highly recommend this product for any book lover/collector.

I have two real passions in life.
Gardening and billiards.
That being said I have a really huge collection of gardening books with almost every book on Clematis in the world and the same can be said with my Japanese Maples books. Tropical books are really exciting to read to find new plants to accent the yard. I had so many books it was hard to remember them all much less know where to go to find what I was looking for.
CLZBooks and windows program are first rate easy to use and work so easily I am amazed. I also have 2000 movies and over 2500 music cds. So I got their apps for those also and they are life savers. Get them all you can’t go wrong.
Much better than all the others that I have tried.

I’ve been using the CLZ Apps for several years. I started out with the Music Collection but soon after, I got the Books app and the Movies app.

I have over 500 books in my collection and most of them added easily with the Author’s name or title. I read almost exclusively nowadays from Kindle, but I added paperback books easily with the scan function.

Recently, I have been reading newer works that unknown authors self-publish on Kindle because they are a heck of a lot cheaper than top sellers list books. If they are not in the database, they are fairly easy to add to the collection with book covers and an overview of the book. It’s a great app which I use all the time as I read a couple of books a week.

I have hundreds of books and I can’t remember what I have and where they are. CLZBooks has proved to be a perfect way to keep track. It is easy to enter each book into your database (most new books can be scanned in using your smartphone camera). You can devise a location system so you know exactly where each book is. If you loan a book out you can even log who has it. You can rate your books, log when you read it, where you purchased it and for how much, and so much more. When I am in a bookstore I can easily check if I already have a book I’m thinking of purchasing. I can’t say enough good things about how useful CLZBooks is!

I have been using the CLZ Books app on my iPhone and iPad for a few months now. I have a book collection of just over 1000 books in the system. I have found that CLZBooks has plenty of fields for lots of details about the books. While I have used it, the developer has continued to add more information / fields through updates. CLZBooks (and the web-based system behind it) allows me to keep everything current across my devices. I am very pleased with the system. I had a few questions early on as I was getting set up and the developer got back to me very quickly with the info I needed. Highly recommended!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my BookCollector program and am always recommending it! I can open CLZBooks and add a new book to my 4500+ book collection in just a few seconds! I can look up a book in my library wherever I am! I think the pricing is very reasonable for all the easy usability but also customizable functionality of the PC based program. It is probably my favorite program of all time! They are always tweaking it and they really care about the customers, but by now I think it is pretty perfect. I can add my personal notes on my books to jog my memory. I’ve been using the program for many years (since 2014?). Did I mention that I LOVE IT?!!

I wish I could give CLZBooks 10 stars! The creators are constantly improving and adding features. I’ve never had it fail or crash, and it has all the data points that a retired Librarian could hope for. The only thing I would add is an easy way to record how many times one has read a book, since I am a big re-reader. Great stuff, quality customer service. Keep up the good work!

I have used CLZBooks for several years after many other trials that did not work well and I must say I have had the best customer service any time I have a suggestion or find an issue. As a book collector I depend on it to show me my existing collection as well as any library books I may read, when I am out at the bookstore. The new ability to separate into collections is great! I have books in boxes and now I don’t have to view them when looking at my collection list. Keep up the good work!

I am amending my review to reflect the wonderful customer service I have received, as well as the functionality of CLZBooks . Of all the apps I tried to catalog my antique book collection, CLZ Books is my favorite. I like all the various data you can input, including reading date and price. My collection is from well before ISBN numbers (being published prior to 1900), so ease of manually inputting all of the data I want is important to me. I did try out scanning on one current book and it worked very well, but I haven't explored that side extensively. Edited to add, I just added a sci-fi/fantasy collection and used the ISBN scanner and was wowed by the plot summaries that came up! It's so fun!

I started using book collectorz years ago, probably 10 at least maybe more. I was using the PC desktop version until last year when my computer had a major meltdown. It took me a while but I decided to get an iPad and finally downloaded the mobile version of book collectorz. I figured I would have to redo my entire catalog all over again and I had tons of information. This was the best program I had found, hands down, and I loved updating my catalog. To my surprise, I found my catalog in CLZ. I don’t have to redo every single book, yay! At the time my library was 6771 books. It was a daunting task to think of having to redo it. I’m thrilled I don’t and only have to add the new books. I love this program. It’s got so much functionality, easy to use, and looks good while doing it! I recommend this program over anything else you could ever find.

Love CLZBooks for keeping my library of books on record and well organized. No more duplicates which can be frustrating as well as expensive. I appreciate knowing my database is available to me on my PC and cell phone via the cloud, with no worries about maximum size. I’ve had this software for years and have enjoyed watching the developers continue to expand and improve its capabilities and design for ease of use. They’re always available and very prompt with functional as well as technical issues. I look forward to the future knowing we can rely on their growth and continuance.

I purchased the CLZ Book App a few months ago. I have to say that they helped me upload my collection when I was having problems with the CSV file. Their support has been so wonderful. Just recently CLZBooks started crashing on me on my phone when I tried to edit a new entry to place it in a collection. I contacted support and they got back to me before the day was out. He asked me some questions and gave me a few things to try. Before I could even try those suggestions out, I got an email saying that they had found the bug and were submitting their solution to Apple. It was so nice to know that there was a real person on the other side of CLZBooks and not an automated message. I love CLZBooks, for it’s ease of entry and also for the support. I bought the full version and am very happy with it.

I am adding to my review just to say that I had a question about moving books from one collection to another so I emailed support. I got an answer back within 15 minutes and the directions were clear and concise. Support is amazing for CLZBooks. You can tell the owner/designer takes great pride in CLZBooks and in providing support.

I've been using CLZBooks for about 2 months, and couldn't be happier. I'm using CLZBooks in a slightly unconventional way - not for a personal book collection, but for the school's PTO book collection. The cloud feature of CLZBooks allows me to upload all our books, for parents / students to view what's available, and the flexibility of CLZBooks allowed me to customize each record to allow for people to select books they wanted.

Populating CLZBooks was very simple by scanning barcodes, and even when a barcode wasn't available, a manual entry was very easy to do. I did do some editing of records to ensure consistency across our database, but this too was very easy. I also edited a number of cover images by adding my own - again very simple a straightforward!

I highly recommend CLZBooks. Not only is it comprehensive yet simple, it comes with a first class support team. On occasions when I have had questions, I have dealt with three different support analysts, and each has been highly responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. You can't go wrong with CLZBooks!

Great product for book collector. If you got books this is the best way to record them. I use it across an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and Mac desktop. Seamless. The flexibility of the program is so great that you can record your books in a fashion that highlights what is important to you. You are not pinned down to a specific method that some geek programer in a back room who never owned a book thinks you should use to record your collections. It has flexibility.
Further and just as important or maybe more important is the customer service. I have had this product for 5-10 years and have consistently received the best customer service in the business. Every email is answered. First they understand your question and then they answer it. Other software customer service people do not understand the question, and then give you an answer from some script that the mother ship office directs them to use regardless of whether it answers the question or not. Not so here. These guys are terrific. The best in the business. Buy the product.

UPDATE: once again, Alwin and his team provide the best customer service available! I noted an issue and received an immediate (less than 2 minutes!) response. Naturally, he was right and I was wrong, oops. Keep your book collection neat and tidy everywhere you go.

CLZ Books has to be the best app available! The developers spend countless hours upgrading, improving and revising so that the end user experience is fantastic! I can think of no other app that I recommend so vigorously. Been using CLZ Books for two years now and have been pleasantly surprised. Top quality customer service. (This alone grants the developers 5 Stars) Inexpensive compared to other apps. They are continually interested in updating and improving CLZBooks for everyone. Easy to use and enter new books. There’s a space for almost everything and the final result will help you keep track of all your times. Many thanks.

I have been in the process of moving house and clearing out a family storage unit, thrilled with the books I’m finding, remembering and hoping to organize them all into a great library. I was seriously thinking of hiring a librarian to help me with all this when I found this fabulous app. I am able to seamlessly add volumes by isbn numbers and have manually added obscure volumes, photographing the covers and noting their particular histories. I have been so eager with the newly discovered app, trying to get up to speed, I quickly asked support for some features that I subsequently discovered on my own. I was pleased to get an equally quick answer to my query— how to print out my lists— and can’t wait to do more. I may still hire someone to help me but with CLZBooks I am assured that even a student will be able to do a thorough, professional organizing of my library. Bravo! Six stars!

I cannot say enough good things about CLZBooks. It is very stable and incredibly full of useful functionality. I have used this and the Movies version for about 10 years and the games app for almost 5. I am very happy. I keep all my inventory here. I love the layout especially. It has perfect screen real estate use. Not too much “white space” and not too crammed with stuff. It automatically pulls images and plot information and version information from their extensive database. It also lets you configure how you’d like to use it. And of course if you don’t want all the details, you don’t have to put them in. Use as you’d like. :). I love it. I would not change for anything. Even my insurance agent was impressed with it. He accepted this as a viable inventory system fir his purposes as well. :)

I just got CLZBooks and I love it! It was rocky setting up some of the books I have but didn’t check my email which had a welcome note with clear instructions on how to add books! I contacted customer service with some search questions and received a nice response very quickly. It’s not an automated reply! I even deleted a different book tracking app because this one is easier to use and faster! Feature I like are seeing books I own that are marked read or not read, the ease of scanning. and the folders for categorizing! Oh and the friendly customer service! Thank you!
