I don’t see any option to export my data to CSV format or anything! That’s highly disappointing…

RoadTripMPGLite is not for multiple vehicles only allows records for one vehicle. Disappointed

RoadTripMPGLite is great if you have one car. But I have more than one, and it is complicated or impossible to use RoadTripMPGLite for more or different cars. I wish this would work or would be easier. I needed to download a different app.

RoadTripMPGLite is good for gas info but it needs more; I.e., expenses like tires, oil changes, new battery, repairs. Also need to be able to delete the demo vehicle and add several more cars.

Great little app. I can get rid of my stack of receipts I keep telling myself I'm going to audit some day. I like the graph feature for both price and economy. My only issue--and yes, I know it's available in the full version--is that I wish the Lite/free version could track multiple vehicles. Because that's my only need over what the Lite version offers, I won't be buying the full version with all it's various extra features I don't need.

This lite app is awesome. I read the negative reviews before downloading anyway and I realize now that those reviews came from user misunderstanding. All you have to do is read the description to know exactly what you’re getting here.

What’s great about this lite app is that if you strictly just wanted the features this version offered, then you wouldn’t even need to upgrade! Granted, the features you’d want if you’re looking at an app like this are in the paid version, but I have to say I respect the developer to create a completely functional app that a user can hold on to if it met all their needs. It’s also nice to get to test RoadTripMPGLite ’s UX and see the UI before paying for the full version; app felt and looked great, so upgraded immediately.

Anyway, if you’re looking to just track your MPG for a car, this is perfect. If you want more, get the full version - it’s worth it.

By far the best app in this catagory! I have tried several diffent apps and this one smashes them all put together. I will be upgrading to the full version as soon as it support OS 3.0. looking at the full version I was wondering if a point of interest addition could be added to the road trip section. As I understand it you can log in a specific trip but not places and expensives for food stops or sites seen. Maybe even could suggest places to stop at once route is entered. Would be a welcomed addition in my opinion. Totally happy with RoadTripMPGLite as is! Keep up the good work!

I spent 5-6 hours downloading and trying othe fuel apps, they all lacked one thing or another that I wished to see in a simple MPG/cost per gallon application. I was unwilling to spend 4-6 bucks for something so simple. I kept all my purchases between free and 3 bucks...what a waste of cash.
I decided to look at the higher dollar apps and came by this freebie, it does everything I need and want. I might even spend the bucks for the full app.

Easy to add information, easy to edit, great keyboard, really nice graphing, perfect over view information on each fill up and it loads quickly.

Good application. I use it even though it handles only one car while I have two. Only problem with it that I have found is in its cost per mile calculation. It includes the original gas filling cost even though the miles driven with it cannot be determined because it was the first gas fill. Over the long term though, the value becomes insignificant. Also, I do not like the fact that it cannot email me my data. It will only export for adding it to the full version of the software. Since this is for my personal use, I do not want to spend the money for it. For a business however, I thing it would be money well spent. If it could track miles spent for personal/deductible expenses, this would be everything that a person could need.

I love how RoadTripMPGLite works for cars, trucks, etc. But for boats, snowmobiles, etc. it needs the ability to enter BOTH hours and miles instead of having to choose and then from two report methods so you can see both how many MPG (or in the case of large powerboats GPM) and how many GPH your using. Right now it makes you choose one kind of report or the other but for many vehicles such as boats we really need to be able to see and enter both at the same time to get a true idea of our fuel usage. Right now the only way to do that is to create 2 entries for the same vehicle and setup one each way and then go all the way back to the vehicle selection screen to choose the second version and then re-enter the data again each time we fuel which is a pain, plus you can't see both overlaid at the sand time for comparison.

This would bd especially useful for boats like family ski boats where sometimes you cruise for long distances without stopping, putting on many miles quickly, yet at other times your pulling kids on tubes and spend hours in a small area making lots of stops and starts burning lots of hours yet not hardly any miles.

I’ve used RoadTripMPGLite for years and I absolutely love it!

Been using the lite version since 2017 when I bought my Mercedes. Logged every fill up, and it’s quick and easy to do. I love being able to see the history of my mileage, mpg, and even gas prices (can’t even remember paying under $3/gallon but I know I did and I know when!!). No limits on the amount of data you can enter. Perfect for one car! Am now upgrading to full version for multiple cars.

Makes keeping up with mpg and scheduled maintenance a breeze. Graphs are awesome as well.

Thanks for this great app, guys. If RoadTripMPGLite could support multiple vehicles (cars or cars & motorbike) would be more great.

Been using this for years now. Love it!

I have used Road Trip for the last seven years. Never had any issue with RoadTripMPGLite. The only problem I have is not with Road Trip. It is that my V8 Jeep Grand Cherokee is only averaging 9.9mpg with city driving.

One thing would make it better is to have the name of the gas station where you purchased gas. Program provides really quick entries! Thank you!

First: to those reviews complaining of only one vehicle — pay a few $ and upgrade to the full version. Building apps as good as this one takes a lot of time and ongoing effort. It’s great we can even get this much for free. I just have one vehicle but I expect to upgrade just to reward the developer for her/his hard work!

The care and attention in RoadTripMPGLite is explained in part by its long update history - 9 years, wow! This also suggests RoadTripMPGLite will be around for a while longer and won’t leave me stranded with data acquired over many years.

I won’t rave about the many features. Suffice to say that fuel entry was quick and intuitive, and everything I thought I might need was already there.

I was looking for a simple MPG logger... all others I found were either too fancy and was light on the MPG side, or wasn't displaying information correctly nor intuitively. This one was great! It does what it does well. I'm "upgrading" from PalmOS where I used Highway Manager for 12 years, and have been looking for something comparable, and this is exactly that.

well, being a light version it only tracks one car, but enough for me to try and commit to buy the full version. Highly recommended!
