Don't buy BlueSkiesLite worst game in the whole universe

Fun. Additive.

This is the most intriguing free game I've played! I will admit, I have not played ALL free games in BlueSkiesLite store, but of the ones I HAVE played, this one is outstanding. The graphics are great, I like the story line, and I appreciate the gradual combat. I've only played the first six levels, but I have been kept challenged and entertained. For me the latter is what counts. Someone mentioned that they feel the shadows are too heavy, and I agree they could be made lighter, but overall, this game is more fun than some paid apps I have played. Good thing my son has his own iPod Touch, otherwise he would take over mine to play this game. I am thankful that they made the lite version available. I look forward to other games from this developer!

The idea is good but some details need to be altered. These are things such as taking out the anime characters between levels and making wind actually change flight handling. Also, the calibration is very sketchy; Ive calibrated it in multiple positions and in all but one of them the copter will go in reverse at all times. Please fix this in a future update! I still gave this 4/5 stars because, relative to other free games, this is a good concept with good graphics and is executed fairly well. All in all, make some improvements but keep up the good work.

You guys have put together a wonderful app for all the testosterone prone individuals like myself. I have played this game multiple times both during company meetings and during my lunch break and I am amazed at how well written this game is. I would highly recommend to my brothers over in Canada that to get the paid version up in the top ten, have a fire sale like Pangea Software (Cro Mag, Billy Frontier, Enigmo and Bugdon 2) is currently doing and I would bet my government paycheck that you will make the top ten in under one week. Keep up the good work.

Fantasic! It has a certain classic feel to it, but still up to date. Some of the reviews claim it's confusing to fire the weapons, but I'd wager that they didn't read the directions... It's very easy, and fun! If I had a complaint, it would be that the game were too short, but as it is the free demo version, that's the point, I will be purchasing the full version.

Do yourself a favor and download it, don't take the naysayers word for it, it's free, what have you got to lose?

at first i couldn't figure out how to control the helicopter, but after 3 minutes i was breezing away and shooting targets. there's a "Metal Slug" tone to the cutscenes and characters (not the gameplay, though), which gives everything a fun, cheesy tone.

the chopter controls like one assume a chopter would, so don't expect to do fast turns. you pass by a landing pad or an enemy, you have to make a wide turn so you can aim again.

good stuff.

I disagree heartily with the negative reviews. I have not had any crashing issues, and I find all of the controls to be both intuitive and one of the best implementations yet of control. Turn the phone one direction or the other, chopper turns. Tilt forward to go forward, back to go back, and tap in the corners where you don't have to worry about obscuring the action. I hope for more titles of this caliber.

Blue Skies perfectly showcases the accelerometer on the iPhone, and how using it for the right purpose (steering a chopper) makes a game that much more fun. The controls are easy to use, the graphics are fun and reminiscent of old arcade flying games, and with levels taking a few minutes to complete it's the perfect game to pick up and play when you have a few minutes to kill.

Definitely a worthwhile application to have!

I read most of the reviews and perhaps the developer is posting ratings. Nevertheless, I downloaded it since it was free. At first it crashed, but I restarted my iPhone and played the game. I had fun with it and think after playing it for a while, I might buy the full version. Yes, it can be better, by it's off to a great start. Once you get it working, you might be surprised and like this as much as I do.

This game is really funn a little repetitive though. 3 things that could be better: 1. Be able to calibrate the sensor so that you don't have to be looking down and over the screen all the time. 2. Be ableto play your own music. 3. Mutiplayer would make this game ten times better, over wifi and with the new 3.0 peer to peer gaming

Overall it's alot of fun and worth the download.... I'm gettin the full version for sure

I dont know why this game doesn't have better ratings. Its fun, addicting, has lots of levels, and it saves your progress so you can stop and come back to it later to finish up the level you were on. the control is great! the music is awesome, you can't ask for much more from a free app! I'll definately be buying the full version!! thanks for a great app!!!

This is th most enjoyable iPhone game to date. The control setup works well. The game play is smooth and engaging but does tend to get tedious.

Enhancement Request: Add an integer (1-5) to the bomb and missile icons so that its easier to determine which power level is selected. I couldn't get any indication of what bomb/missle was stronger than any other with the current icons. I had to select then fire to figure it out.

Had no problems w/installing the game works great on my IPhone 3G. At first I hesitated about getting the game even though it's free bcuz of some of the reviews but I am glad I got it cuz it's pretty cool n I've played many really great games w/sum awsome graphics. I recommend it the only thing you need to get use to is controlling it but after a couple of tries u will not have any issues

Bought the full version. 2.0 full is up and I'm one happy camper. A 5 star a all the way. Graphics, gameplay, all way cool. As for the comment about dev reviews. I see that all the time on app store, but believe me, this game does not need it. It is one of the best games in app store. It's the first game I can honestly say I would have paid more for. The full version is amazing with arcade mode.
