Awesome game, with suggestions

This game is great if you like architecture and just building things. An early warning- you must pay in Skyscraper4D with actual real life money if you want to have curved façades, more than 4 of each floor plan item on the same floor, and a building above 70 stories, (50 stories is you don’t know the hack). You also need to pay if you want more than 1 balcony per floor. Some suggestions are that maybe if you could add a feature that lets you paste images onto the plot, then you could trace the image with the tools to copy certain floor plans easier?? Also, maybe if we could have the option to create slanted walls and exteriors, and some new assets like ceiling fans, chandeliers, billboards, carpets( to fill empty spaces), bunk beds, and maybe make it so that you can have 2 roof items and amenities per floor without paying? I know this is a lot to ask, but this is still a great game. Thanks

Really great construction game

This is a really good app for designing buildings and skyscrapers, but a couple things could make this a lot better. First I wish that you design the exterior of the towers like adding diagonal beams or design the windows the other thing to this is that I wish you could add steep roofs to the tower. Second thing is it would be nice to have bigger land to big the towers, like a whole block is what I mean. I was trying to purchase multiple lots in the same block and combine them into one big block but I guess you can only build on one lot at a time. Lastly I would like it if this could have days and night on it because when you go into Skyscraper4D it’s the same sky every time you go into Skyscraper4D . Overall it would be better if it was a lot realistic in life. For the second part there has to be a limit to how high you build a skyscraper. I mean you probably can’t build one higher than 3000 feet or 300 floors because of the weight of the building one building I built was in the shape of the letter H and it’s now 2,000 feet but really I designed it to be 20,000 feet or 2,000 floors but I guess that’s not possible on Skyscraper4D. Great app for skyscrapers.

Great Game and Thanks for the Update

Thanks for coming back and updating the game I hope for more and new different updates in the future, Some things I think maybe you should add into the game, overall the game is great but maybe a different terrain should be added like mountains sides and different shaped land instead of it being square and maybe a population added where you can add how many people to live in each building, Cars and people - make the city more lively, Add weapons like bombs where you can control the size of the power force and explosion, Weather and Time, add weather so we can control if we want to have storms or blizzards, hurricanes etc. Festival Structures add options so we can build Festival stages with cool unique lighting moving head lights, fog machine, fireworks and more, Fires - I think there should be natural disasters like big fires raging in the city so you can command a force and put out the fire, Parks - I think we should build our own parks and have different and unique plants.
Well that’s all the ideas I had for the game and I hope you will add it in the future if you can, thanks for taking your time to read this.
Sincerely,
The Reviewer

Move it to a pc/Mac based platform

I’m not that creative first off, so trying to get a handle of things and make pretty cool architectural designs will tough but a great challenge with this. I think the game interface is really well done. Graphics are a plus and the tutorial is really simple and helpful. This is my personal preferences but I feel navigation on a mouse or trackpad would be a lot easier if not only having this on Skyscraper4D Store, but valve’s steam as well I think maybe like $1-$5 range price tag would be beneficial as well. It is endless possibilities and I think Skyscraper4D definitely has more potential than show. Maybe adding more Cosmetics in future updates is something the devs have in mind like bathroom, bedroom, or living room appliances as well. These games always interested me and it’s definitely in my top along with sim city build it and city skylines. But my main takeaway is may be pushing it toward a pc and/or Mac base market as well. That’s my opinion. I don’t really know too much on what the devs want out of this or where they’re going with Skyscraper4D, or even the market for such a game on a computer based platform and the coding take to reprogram the mechanics as well. But overall still a great game

If you like structural architecture and big cities, I think this is for you

This is a pretty darn good app. Maybe a little too easy when you get the hang of it. It is a little rigid, you have to learn what the game will and will not allow, and it’s time consuming for sure. But that’s part of the fun. I do wish there was a roofing section, because if I try to build anything that isn’t a skyscraper it looks a bit ridiculous. The floor plan customization helps, I suppose, but I think it’s too micro of a scale for such a macro game. I don’t know why I’m going to put a refrigerator in a building that looks nothing like a house. The doors are unable to match the construction materials appearance anyway. I also think there should be cars moving through the city, maybe some on streets where there is a high enough annual return, and it could scale when that amount gets higher. It just feels a little bit empty at this stage. That being said I’m giving it five stars because it is a really great idea with several great architectural elements to it. If you are into a grand scheme sort of building game, consider buying this. Good work

Overall... but a few warnings!

This is a great game. I’ve wanted to be an architect for a while, and this game is great for that designing fix, especially for people who can’t draw, like me!
A few warnings: If you are getting this game for the ability to make curved buildings, note: That is for PREMIUM ONLY. The game is still great without the curves and other ‘premium’ stuff. Just be aware you must pay for curves.
Most of the other premium stuff is that you must be premium to get more than one fill-in-the-blank. Hammock, balcony, floor lighting, undo button.
Overall I enjoy this game. To the producers: I have a question and two suggestions.
My question: When I go to the environmental button, and change how my city looks, it will change, but when I come back to the game later riptide is gone. How can we fix this?
My first suggestion: When you click on a building, I suggest that there should be a ‘person’ option, where you can look from a person’s perspective and toggle your way through the building. That way architects can view their work in a more realistic manner.
My second suggestion is more of a preference. I’m not asking you to make this a role play game, but it would be gratifying to see the city actually in use.
Thank you very much for making a great game.

Great Game. Could be upgraded

This is one of the best city builder games in Skyscraper4D Store. It could use some improvements:

The building texture pack is limited. It would be great to have some more green, brick and metal textures.

There is only one glass size and style. It would be great to change the glass sizes and styles. The glass is only floor to ceiling and it would be great to build some more traditional buildings with glass that was different sizes and styles

There is no roof but a flat roof which gets boring. Again for more traditional buildings it would be great to have the option to add roofs at different pitches.

The edge of the map is an ocean. It looks very fake and wrong. Maybe there could be texture options for the edge of the map such as, suburbs with highways that connect to the city, a greater urban area with low rise buildings or a map that places the map on an island or beach with a low rise area and port on the edge of the map.

It would be great to have an option of turning on and off the option of having people walk around the map and use the buildings, go through doors, up and down elevators and use the furniture.

There’s a lot to unpack here but this is a great game that has a strong foundation to build upon.

Great game but...

So this game used to not work but now it works. That’s part of the 4 stars I added. And also I like the fast forward feature that can make you earn money faster. I also like how you can just build floors with the same things on so you don’t have to build more things on the next floor. Ok so here’s the -1 Star on this 5 stars so sometimes I let go of the screen for the plain wall, but it makes it shorter that the place I stopped. But here’s an idea for an update: Add a roof feature when you can make the roof a different shape, Add windowed walls, add garage doors, and add needles for the top of the skyscraper. It’s great I’m glad it works now then before because I finally got through the tutorial without a black screen right in front of me.

Is it a good fit for ARTISTS seeking a city builder?

I will let my fellow artists know. I just found this, haven’t used it yet so I will update again soon enough, but boy am I happy to find what looks to be an ideal app to build a totally custom handmade original city for comic art resources. I hope it won’t take me too long to make a city block for art purposes, since it looks like I gotta earn in game money to build the city, but it at least looks like it may earn faster than sim city. I can’t thank you enough for providing this, I’ve been scouring Skyscraper4D market! I will recommend this to some artist friends if it does what I hope (changing my angle to view the city I’ve constructed)!

Good but...

This game is ok but there are too much of the restrictions like you can only make up to 4 of the furnishings. And also, The floor height limit does not make any sense because it is only 50 for the Intro plan. the devs must make it so that it is much more higher height limit than today. Also remove the restrictions for the furniture or just make it more reasonable for the player. The last problem is it’s too strict for the player.
Make it lighter just like I said. Also make a office chair or jus any chair so that there are more freedom for the seats on the game.
Also make a gamemode so there are a load of possibilities for the game and the player can make a for example a sandbox save or a career save. And lastly, Please add people to the game because it gets the game to life. Thanks for reading

Amazing but...

I’ve been playing this game for a while and got really into it. Its great for people who don’t know much about skyscrapers. The tutorial is very simple and easy! The music is a amazing touch and so is the detail. My one complaint is that the roads.... there empty! Like that would be amazing to add traffic! I know this game is a Skyscraper Building Simulator but if you were wanting to overlook an entire city you just finished I would want at least 2 cars on the road. But anyways this game is very addictive and also very fun! It’s a great time killer too while in this Covid-19 quarantine.

Overall excellent

This game is amazing. I can’t seem to find much wrong with it. These are just some personal things. First off it would be an improvement to add park customization options. It’s a bit blank( I can’t think of a different word) to have a blank slate like that without the ability to edit it. It would also be nice to different material to make columns out of that are stronger or weaker than others. Cars and people would be nice to have as an option but it’s not too important. Again this is an amazing game if you’re into creating and designing things. Other than what I previously mentioned, I can not see anything wrong. Thanks for making this.

Fun!

Ok... this game is great, but this is a starting point, IMO. The obvious feedback is, much more is needed. Would love to see developers create more options of furniture and appliances, and appointments (e.g. carpets, paintings, other decorative stuff). Wall paint options would help too.

I got the platinum version, and love it, but find the game limiting in its current version. In my imagination, this game one day expands to allow the economics to work well for buildings that aren’t super tall, to allow for more city scape diversity. Also, needs non-residential building options (commercial and office buildings) to really round out its full potential.

I really like it, and hope more is added soon!

Love it!

I love Skyscraper4D ! As an architect graduate I decided not to become an architect for now but pursue other dreams. However, I will always love expressing my ideas and build or draw model ideas during my free time and I am glad we finally came far enough to have something on our phones. I wish you could do more as in shapes and unique type of structures but still very happy. I would really like to see a feature where you can look at the city or buildings as a pedestrian because the looking around for me is a bit tough.
Thanks for an amazing app guys! Keep it up, looking forward to the future.

Awesome Game

My only gripe is it’s hard to get the camera angles just right to show other people. As a builder you know what you are looking at but it gets hard when the camera angles go thru the floors and these sorts of things. PLEASE TAKE NOTES FROM HOME DESIGN 3D. They have the visit view and 2D mode and these things so you can get it just right and your the place just right while adjusting features. But all in all. I LOVE this game. If they could perfect the camera angles so it sticks to a floor when you enter the building, or you can at least toggle that setting it would be great. This not being able to showcase my building floor plans and have people walking is preventing me from purchasing. But I love the stress simulators and appliances, etc.

To many restrictions to realize potential

I played the game briefly. It was kind of fun until I realized I couldn’t undo more than like 1 or 2 times with out upgrading. Seriously?! The sad part is I have no problem upgrading to premium memberships with similar games but it was to frustrating in the trial phase to see it to fruition for me. Also the time it takes to make money with no membership is just to long. I understand gating the 8x speed behind a paid service but not being able to make money idly (even if it was at like 1/2 speed would be something) and having to wait with Skyscraper4D open was just to frustrating. Cool concept though

Great Game!

Overall, I think the game is great. It’s easy to understand, has great graphics and has a good tutorial. If there was one thing I would like to change about it is the ability to keep making money when your not playing, even if it’s a small amount compared to what you make in game. Also, if you’re about to download the game, then know that it takes a while to earn a steady flow of money. (Unless you buy the platinum pass.) I think it’s a great game for anyone who loves architecture, design, or just wants something to do.

Very irritating. Gave up.

Extremely difficult to operate on a smartphone without making lots of mistakes with the buildings. Too easy to add building parts that you didn’t intend to add, the drag navigation to view your city/buildings is very difficult to work with, the graphics are blocky and unrealistic, and it is annoying to try to get your layouts simply symmetrical without clicking in the wrong place. Good luck deleting any pieces that were added by accident in the middle of a very tall building that you have already tried to make three times, or deleting any furnishings without accidentally deleting a whole floor of your building. I have been working hard at this game for a couple of hours and I have finally given up on only my second building. Irritated and not going to recommend to my architecture degree friends.

Even better than I expected!

I just got this and I was scrolling through the reviews as I usually do. All the reviews were pretty good and the one that we’re bad had a response that seemed to show how much the developers cared and wanted to improve. This game is fun and addictive it also isn’t one of those games that cuts off all the features because you didn’t pay for a game that was supposed to be free. I really really already love Skyscraper4D and I’m excited to see what I can do in the future between any new updates and just whatever my imagination wants me to build!

Great Game

My review for this is its actually a very good game whoever created it good job. I’ve always wanted to make a huge tall building. But was wondering when building you start stacking floors for levels you have to redo the whole floor is there a way where when you start the second floor it just makes the floor empty instead of everything you have just put on the first floor ends up with second third etc. but for the most part it’s a good game. Maybe putting people down that are walking around the side walks and vehicles driving around to make it like a moving world
