The app itself is really cool, I love having the option to charge a card whenever I need to but there are few too many downsides, first the monthly fees second processing fees, third the amount of people you have to deal with.
I understand there are security issues, but through the whole proces... Show more s of setting up a merchant account I felt like they were doing me a favor by opening me an account. They even called one of my very respectful clients to confirm my identity. Then there are the fees, the rates they advertise are very unlikely to be applied to you, you are looking at high 4% or more, then there are monthly fees, then there is the time it takes to get your money in your account.
I believe this app can be setup with different merchants then the ones they use or however connected they are, do anything possible to set it up with somebody else, if you do go with them just pray something don't go wrong

I recently bought my iPhone and was anxious to get this app loaded. We are photographers and sell framed and/or matted photos at art and craft shows. Our previous credit card processing solution was using dial pay over the cell phone which was tedious and difficult at times and virtually required u... Show more se of a bluetooth earpiece because of the need to listen for prompts while trying to type in data simultaneously on the phone. Doubly difficult if there is loud live music close to our booth as was at our last show. This app is really nice in comparison! It's so easy to simply put the information in and press "Charge". I'm really liking the ease of use. And the ability to email receipts to customer and myself is also nice.

A wireless printing option would be very nice...

Overall, very happy with this app.

Being in direct sales, I am always on the go. I was with another company with a Hypercom T4100 terminal and I hated lugging that thing around from party to party. Then, one evening, my boyfriend saw the iPhone office apps commercial and said, "Babe, you should get THAT!" I immediately jumped online... Show more and did my research of ALL the credit card terminal apps that are available right now. Althought Inner Fence's app is one of the most expensive, it's worth every freakin' penny!! They had a promo running when I signed up where they sent me a $50 iTunes gift card as soon as I emailed them my app purchase receipt!! So, basically, a FREE app! Their customer service is outstanding -- ask for Brad! :-)

You simply cannot go wrong with this app! A+, Inner Fence!
