Unfortunately, this is definitely not a useful app! The only “useful” information is the time of prayer, but when it comes down to the Qibla location, absolute mediocrity and lack of creativity! I say this openly because I actually paid full price for Guidance! Sorry! The Qibla needs to inform the person if they are on the right direction, not just point at the direction! Big difference! There are apps that actually point and direct you while you move your device and then it instantly indicates that you’re facing the very direction and spot. How difficult is to do that? Huh ?

The description of Guidance says you can have custom notifications. However, it does not allow us to have our own Athan. Or at least, there should be full version of the all Athans that are available directly in Guidance . I want to stream the Athan from my phone to a speaker whenever it is time for Athan but unfortunately the Athan stops in between. Is there a way I can accomplish this? I got Guidance based on what is mentioned in the description about custom notification sound but surely it is misleading.

On the whole, I appreciate the functionality of Guidance. It gives me what I need and doesn’t clutter it up with all kinds of unnecessary other stuff.

What I’m not happy with is the compass, and the lack of any useful information on how to use or fix it.
The little arrow always points north, NOT at the Qibla, as one would both hope and expect. You can click on it, and you get a maps screen with some buttons, but none of them has any explanation about how they work, nor corrects the underlying problem.

There is no documentation available (presumably because the developer feels Guidance “just works”). The “app support“ link in Guidance Store just goes to a splash page for Guidance . And the developer does not respond to the one communication channel he provides.

So no luck. If you aren’t paying attention or are someplace unfamiliar, and you trust that little arrow to point you in the right direction, you’ll do your prayers facing north instead of the direction of prayer.

Great, customizable, easy to understand (not so many hidden features)

Apple Watch complication showed countdown to wrong prayer. 0315, it should have been counting down to Fajr but it was counting to Asr at 1515 and saying it was 2hr 45 min away. Perhaps this is an easy fix?

Jazakallah khayr to the creators, may Allah protect them and us from what has been happening with other apps.

App says it is pulling prayer times from Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), for example. However, the times/angles are different than what is reported on Google sourcing ISNA. For example, today this app reports fajr at 5:29 AM (source: ISNA), however ISNA reports it as 5:28 AM. I had to manually fix this…but can you please fix it so that the times correlate automatically and correctly? Jazaakum Allahu Khairan!

Guidance is great. I’m pretty choosy about the apps I download, and I have no regrets downloading this app.

My only qualm is with the Watch app. It looks great, but, critically, it won’t show me prayer times for my location. Instead, it shows prayer times for Mecca. Can this be fixed? The Watch app/complication are fairly useless otherwise.

One of the best apps, used to be my favourite on iOS and MAC for a long time. Well designed has the needed features without overloading Guidance with tons of unnecessary ones and of course the best interface. The new update ruined the widget look be killing the options to select how to appears and by new ugly design. This is by far a 5 stars app please fix it. Thanks for the great work

Guidance is amazing, however, it world be great if prayer timing adjustments are synchronized throughout all ios devices through an email account. It becomes tiresome to adjust three, sometimes four devices individually.
Also the new widget could be more improved. Check out Athkar's widget for some ideas... But the new app design itself is very nice, simple and clean, yet without compromises.

Myron my perspective l, the best app in its category. Would be great if they can implant live notification for when the next prayer is getting close. I noticed also that the calculation method does not change to North America when set to automatic when I go there (I tried it in Chicago, Seattle and Washington).

Guidance is wonderful and very satisfying to use (and I’ve tried many). Unfortunately, since the last iOS update (18), I can no longer see the prayer time on my watch face unless I click on the two lines - - that appear instead. It used to show when the next prayer time was without having to click on anything but I’m not sure what happened. Can you please fix this 🥲

I love how when using an apple watch, it gives a notification about the prayer time and allowing you to play the adhan on the phone rather than playing it by default. Clean UI and haven’t had any bugs so far. Def worth the small price

Hey guys! Firstly, this is still my favorite app without a doubt. However, lately after my last update my alerts seem to not work any longer. Some do, some don’t. I’ve tried all the basic troubleshooting options. Switching notifications on then off deleting Guidance then downloading again. Restarting my phone but still nothing. Prior to the last app update it worked 100% perfectly.

Would appreciate some assistance in this regard.

Also, lastly, I love that the team has added the full Athaan option, but any chance it could play a little slower? And not that fast?

Outstanding app with very clean and distraction-free UI. Love the widget design as well - thank you for updating so fast. I would pay monthly for such a carefully maintained app like this.

One wish - can a longer term calendar of Salah times be exposed to the user? Sometimes I need to plan in advance and being able to check when Mughrib will be in a week - or month - would be hugely helpful.

Alhamdulillah for the new design, updated widget and iPhone X(S) compatibility.

But please bring back the old notification sound. That sound was special and reminded me of Salah. The system notification being used now is very generic and doesn’t feel right.

This is the best salaah app available and most accurate thanks to the moonlighting calculation method. Also have used the masjid finder so many times and invaluable in unfamiliar places. Was disappointed when it was removed and very glad it was brought back with the latest update. JazakAllah.

I use this almost 100% on my Apple Watch. This has been the most useful thing to keep me on top of prayer times. It’s so easy to check the watch and see on my watch face when the next prayer time is.

I've been using Guidance since my first iPhone in 2008. They keep improving it. It syncs with my Apple Watch, and a quick tap turns the sound off if I need to. Always accurate, with excellent GPS function so I can find the qibla easily. A low price for improving your deen, and done so well mashallah.

Guidance is great for anyone who wants a simple effective and user friendly way to remember salah. The best part is that one can mute Athan for salahs as needed. Also can choose full Athan, just Takbeer, or a beep as the alert. The Qibla is always accurate.
I really like it. Definitely recommend.

Nice UI yet simple and very easy to use. The new updated widget is also great as is having the next day’s prayer time available. The only thing it needs is better and louder alert tones.

The new widgets do not show prayer times in 24 hour format.

Masha Allah Jazakalah to those who put their effort to give the best accurate Prayer Alert. And it's worth every penny we paid for. But, but it needs an update according to my iPhone 7 plus. It tells me the maker of Guidance didn't update so it might slow your phone. So we would appreciate if the brother who made this fine app can do an update. May Allah open all the doors to Janatul Firdowsa
