TanZen Free - Relaxing tangram puzzles Reviews

I like the game a lot and the controls are pretty good, but I keep quitting in frustration because of how niggly it is about realizing the puzzle is solved. I get everything aligned nicely and then have to take a minute moving all of the pieces in random directions, often making the fit worse before it will consider it solved and move to the next puzzle. So close, but so annoying!

Perfect balance between relaxation and still keeping your brain busy with solving a puzzle. Love that there's no score, timer etc, exactly what you need if you want a little time to relax and sort your thoughts. Thanks to the creators of the game for a nice product :)

This game is a good game and I love it. The only thing I think is wrong with it is that the music is not that good. The music doesn’t sound relaxing at all. But the rest of the game is very good. It usually takes awhile to finish one puzzle but it is always a bunch of fun!

The game is fun and TanZenFree works well for me. I like that it tells you when you have overlapping pieces. I also like that you can shake it and start over when you're frustrated/have hit a wall. I enjoy it and my kids (7 & 9)like to play as well.

I enjoy doing these just before bedtime. TanZenFree has calming music even though you know it's going to wrap around and play it again. The puzzles are challenging enough that I get stumped once in awhile. Easy to manipulate the pieces.

I have a physical Tangram puzzle game that I’ve enjoyed for years. This digital version is terrific. It works well and is available whenever I have my tablet or phone with me. Who could ask for anything more!

I like how with this Tangram app they don’t use a grid system or anything, you just get the pieces close enough to fitting in the shape and it can recognize they’re placed/oriented correctly

Our whole family ages 10-49 can't stop working at solving these puzzles. This is a fun, addicting way to train your brain at any age.

This game would be perfect for relaxing or getting your kids to relax. I would recommend TanZenFree for everybody. Some of the puzzles are hard but some of them are easy. This is the best app ever!!!

This is probably the third time I've gone through these shapes. That should say how enjoyable I find this. The different colored shape mode is especially fun.

I really liked this game, but the first time I played it, an ad popped up and I could not get out of the ad and back to the game. I reloaded the game and was problem free for a week or so and then had the same thing happen.

Bottom line: play while you can because an ad is going to lock you out and the game will be unusable soon.

Makes classes and work go by real fast, sometimes starting after class to finish the tangrams.

I like the variety and challenge of the puzzles, and the options to customize the look of my games.

Great puzzles to focus the mind and challenge spatial skills. In free version sometimes a finished puzzle doesn’t “set” so it doesn’t show as solved.

Claims to have 54 free puzzles; actually only has 9. If you want a hint, you watch a video, only to be told that one of the pieces you placed has indeed been placed correctly (this happened twice - i.e. with two already-placed pieces - when I was trying to figure out one that had me stumped). Trying a different one and deleting this one.

Simple elegant design with easily manipulated tans. Minor problem at times with TanZenFree realizing the puzzle has been solved. Hey, It's free and enjoyable. How many puzzle apps can make this claim?

The original purpose for the creation of corn flakes & graham crackers, have been realized in this game. It is extremely effective, calming, will keep wayward hands occupied for centuries.

I'm not sure why it's supposed to be relaxing, unless you count the relaxing music and sounds. However, it's a great puzzle game. It's challenging and there's no time limit or rush to finish the puzzle.

Enjoying it enough to lose track of time. What more needs to be said?
