Synching takes entirely too long after remote recording. I record with guests for my podcast. There’s no way it should take 30 minutes to an hour to synchronize any size video. My videos are usually an hour long, and sitting there waiting for the video to synchronize shouldn’t be more than 5 minutes max. Detail was causing my battery to overheat after 30 minutes, but I bought a fan, and haven’t had that problem since. My only issue now is the synchronizing. That is something that really need to be addressed. I gave 2 stars for ease of use. Would be 5 with better synchronization

I just started using it and trying to figure it out, so I gave it 2 stars for two reasons. One because the video additives and editing options for someone who has not agreed to a monthly subscription are lack luster and at the moment of this review offer no excitement about Detail for me to justify the monthly cost. The second reason is again I literally just started looking though trying to select options for a video. Maybe after a little time tinkering around with it I’ll be able to change my rating.

Maybe my iPhone 11 is too old? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I want to use it to do reaction videos, but no matter how much I tinker with it, the background video always gets out of sync with when I stop and start it. I need to be able to stop and start it because I’m doing reaction videos to music. I canceled my subscription and uninstalled it, but I would LOVE for Detail to work properly. Happy to change my review once it gets working.

The issue I’m running into is the Syncing. Sometimes the video I reacted to is behind or ahead and because theres not a way to split the editing track from (my reaction clip) & (the video I reacted to’s clip) any editing I do to try to sync it manually is just can’t be done. As I’ll be editing both clips together other than raising or lowering the audio’s separately.

Loving Detail so far, learning to navigate everything. Recorded a 17 minute video with 2 iPhones and had zero issues. The next 2 podcasts we recorded Detail closed during the sync and those episodes are not lost.
Hoping to get this resolved, as I really like how user friendly Detail is and hoping to get this issue resolved.

Overall, Detail has the potential to be GREAT. But there’s a lot of bugs, for example, Detail freezes and closes when you try to edit certain things. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it is frustrating when it does happen. The audio and AI options could be better. Also, the video quality when recording with others on split screen gets distorted sometimes. Overall it has the potential to be great, but I wasn’t able to create a final video with the bugs etc.. but, I already paid $50 for Detail so I’m hoping that there will be improvements soon that way I don’t feel like my money is wasted.

We’re trying to record video in video (reaction) the video lags. The words doesn’t match the lip movement also video background does not blend even with a green screen. What’s the problem with that? And I’m a lifetime subscriber. How do i maximize Detail’s potential?

Annoyed that app would not let me close the “write a review” prompt. I can’t say whether it’s good or bad yet because I haven’t gotten past the request for a review . I hate to drop the rating for Detail if it turns out to be great, but I also cannot give an honest opinion on something that I haven’t even had the opportunity to try. I would be happy to write a review if the prompt came some time after I’ve had a chance to actually use Detail .

This is the easiest app for video reactions so far that I’ve ever found very helpful and easy to use!
Will recommend to friends for sure!

While recording a reaction video, could we freely move our own face? Rather than only giving us the 4 corners as preset ? I would like to freely move my face. Thank you :)

Hi this is gonna be quick. Detail is amazing, but there is one thing I would like you to add. Could you add a feature where you can zoom in on the back camera? I would like to be able to do that.

I’ve been on social media for nearly half a decade and have amassed over 300k followers and millions of views so I’ve used my fair share of video editing platforms. This one is different. And I like different! It’s super easy to use and the ability to record and edit in the same page is amazing. And it’s just getting started? Yeah…CapCut has some serious competition. Now there was one feature that I didn’t see that I hope can be added. The ability to overlay video & audio on top of one another. And maybe separate audio from video along with that. Just because I personally use that a lot in my editing. Other than that, can’t give it anything less than 5 stars!!!

From the ease it is to use and the constant tutorials the team puts up. Detail has everything in a package. And also how quickly the respond to questions and guide you through. 10. STARS

Detail is so easy to use and I just love how it gives me a lot of options, the free version has a lot of options but if you really want to have better qualities you can upgrade to a paid subscription

OK folks like my title says I'm pretty impressed with this software for Detail already and I've only used it really maybe twice and I'm really liking the combination of features that you need multiple apps to accomplish all in one place.

I'm definitely going to buy the pro version not because I need any of the features in the pro version because I want to support the continuation and improvements that are I'm sure are in the future all the planned upgrades and things like that that I've heard talked about a red talked about in the reviews.I want to see where this will go.

Hey, what’s up? I’m loving Detail . However, I’m having issues with navigating the “Microphone Settings” to capture the audio during my reaction videos. I’ve tried multiple times (while during) the recording, and I’m unable to hear myself.

Before I started actually utilizing instead of using my video editor, I was astounded at other people’s videos. After watching the “how to videos” by this app, I am slowly becoming a pro as well.
I appreciate the time and energy this app takes in explaining things. Thanks so very much.

Are use Detail to create reaction videos and honestly, it has been great Detail as a bunch of other features as well like giving you transcripts and different things of that nature to as you talk he’ll dictate so I’ve been trying out the different features and see how I like it. I use this in a couple other apps that are my videos but this one I probably won’t delete just as a such a great job is very seamless. It’s not perfect but still 5 stars

Love Detail and my videos have taken off since using. So easy to use.
