The only thing keeping Kale from being great and 5 stars is if they would be completely upfront and honest on how they payout structure works. You email them and they tell you that you get paid based on creativity and the amount of views or engagement your post gets. That’s not what people are looking for. They have to be upfront and let everyone know, for example; Okay 10,000 views = $20 or etc.. they don’t tell you any of that. Pearpop and other apps at least tell you if you reach a certain milestone of views what the payout would be, Kale does not. I have emailed support about their payout system and trying to figure out what really is the deciding factor because I have posted a few videos and one of them gets 80k views and i got $50 from it but my first video i did got 20k views and I got $250… So until they can actually be upfront and honest on how much you can actually make instead of saying “Creativity and engagement” then it’ll stay a 3 star app. Hopefully the company sees this review too and leaves a public reply so people can get an answer..

I’ve had this app for a week now and I love it! Such good brand options already. However, I’m still slightly skeptical about the company itself. I posted my first video which got 721 views and was paid around $24. I then post a video that got 15K views and was excited as they say payment is based on amount of views. However, my payment was only around $45.

As the this app team advertises, this is still a great way to make some money while supporting the brands you love. However, I think they need to be more transparent about the view/payment situation. I tried to find information on how the payment is decided, and saw nothing on their website or socials. It’s possible that it’s a pool of money and then it gets divided more with who’s posting. Whatever it is - I think this app needs to be more transparent!

Again, I’m slightly skeptical but mostly excited!

Kale has helped someone like me who never thought I could be a content creator/influencer become one so organically and effortlessly. I’m just posting about stuff that I already was trying to post about but now I’m getting rewarded to do so while also building my own platform. Such a innovative concept and I highly recommend it to all my friends, whether they want to be content creators or just like free stuff/money! Thanks this app :)

If you want to make a lot of money this ain’t it. However, I do like Kale . I get around $15 per video, I’ve found that it depends on the brand on how much you get. However, considering I already have the products I make the videos for, it’s a nice why to make some extra cash. Moreover, making the videos doesn’t take that long. It takes me 5 minutes or less to make and post the video, so $15 is a pretty nice amount.

My only concern is that they aren’t transparent on how the pay rate works. I’ve gotten 200 views and no likes with one brand and made $17 and gotten 500 views and 50+ likes and made $12 for a different brand

I was very optimistic about Kale and posted my first collab. I got 750 likes and 235 comments. When I saw I got paid only $11, I was shocked and extremely dissapointed. I had worked for 3 hours on my content, and I usually get $150 for that number of engagement. It would not let me cash my money out, so I had to post another video to even get the money.

I wish Kale was honest about the payout structure and CLEARLY spelled out the payment structure ex: 100 likes = $1. I feel as though my time has been wasted, and I would have never agreed to pay for such a lowball amount. If you are looking for extra money this could be good for you, but not for serious creators. I hope Kale will make changes based on my suggestions.

I was having fun on Kale creating content for some of my favorite brands and being able to monetize it in the process. However, this app started adding more rules as the weeks went on. Some responses I would get would not be stated in the guidelines but they would require so I would change my content to make them happy. When changing the videos, it removed the ones they dislike of course which flagged my account apparently. this app has yet to respond to me but had shut down my account. I have not deleted any videos they have paid me on but the ones they had requested I edited. I don’t find this fair or ethical.

Don’t get me wrong, the idea of it is great. It’s easy to claim challenges, submit videos and receive cash for your videos. What I hate about Kale is there’s no flat rate for the content you make and you don’t get paid until after you make the content. I’ve put in insane amount of effort and money sometimes for these videos and they pay me way less that what I deserve for the quality content I make. I’ve tried reaching out to their customer service as well too and they are not very nice and pretty much do not care.

I think the pay rate is a bit confusing and of course is different for each brand. Otherwise though, I’ve earned almost $100 just for working with 1 brand! I’ve had no problem getting my money and payout is really quick. Definitely recommend

I really love that I’m able to make a little money by reviewing products I actually buy and use. Making the videos is fun, the payouts is fast and accurate and this app has great customer service. I don’t love that challenges are often not posted for many of the products I use and I will have to spend money on trying new items or wait no one knows how long for new challenges for my products which means I’m not making money.

Kale is real! I made a great video and they sent money for connecting my social! But the rules are very simple and I guess I messed up by showing other names of drinks I used. They kicked me right out! No second chances and I couldn’t even take the post down! They won’t let me try to make a new post! I’m not happy with the way they push you out so quickly when sometimes things are a real mistake! Content creation is new for some people! Mistakes happen! They don’t give warnings or anything! So BE PERFECT LOL!

I have been on this app for the last few months. It did glitch at times and gave me issues but it was quickly fixed with updates. However, yesterday, I received a text from this app saying that my video for the challenge was not accepted. I quickly deleted the video and put up a new video. Now, this morning, I get a message saying my account is banned for deleting this app content.
It was never this app’s CONTENT because they found it ineligible! My new video for the challenge is still up! I’m still waiting for support to email me back. This whole app is run by bots.

Kale used to be great, the recent updates have made the brands hard to find and the design of Kale isn’t as good. The payouts are also WAY smaller than they used to be, I would make $10-25 for a video and now my videos are getting more views and I’ve made $2-$4. It’s insulting honestly. I got over 15k views on one and the payout was like $6? Not really worth it anymore tbh, I hope they change the payout system and I’d love to see how they decide what to pay us, it’s very hard to find any info about that.

I have been using this app for several months now and I don’t have a single complaint! I have recommended Kale to everyone I know. It literally makes no sense not to sign up. It’s so easy! this app has so many awesome brands that you can post for and I have always been paid in 24-48 hours.

Being able to get paid by using the products here is amazing ! I have fun creating the content and sharing with friends and family. You get paid easily and everything on Kale goes smoothly.

this app is definitely an answered prayer. It is a platform for content creators (no matter how many followers you have) the opportunity to make money for your content. Seriously one of the best thing I’ve become a part of. 🥹💕

I posted a original video on my TikTok and submitted for one of the challenge. Then the video had over 1800 views. Suddenly Kale sent me a message said my account has been suspended for violating this app's Community Guidelines requiring authentic, organic engagement on your posts. I will no longer be able to participate in the this app community. That is for no reason and I think Kale just blocked me because they don’t want to pay! I made free ads for the brand!!

No transparency when it comes to how much you get paid, like at least say that in the “challenge”. The whole vibe of the business model is that you should be grateful for brands paying you pennies to post about their products. If you took the time to build an audience and following, go find real brand deals, not these “challenges”. I promise you they’ll actually take you seriously and you’ll make a lot more $ doing that

I’ve been using Kale for a few weeks now. I’ve had no problems with doing the challenges from my favorite brands, HOWEVER Kale constantly glitches/blacks out and I’m back on my phone’s Home Screen. Please please PLEASE this app, fix this problem!

So far I really like Kale. I have successfully completed 3 challenges and have earned the amount stated and have withdrawn it as well. Def an app that does what it says. Putting a few extra $$ in my pocket.

I signed up with this app. I claimed a project and posted a video. When I tried to submit the project, I was required to connect Facebook and Instagram, which was the only way to submit the video. Everytime I tried to connect my accounts to this app, it connected on Facebook, but on this app, I kept getting the same response of “something went wrong, please try again later”. I’ve tried contacting this app’s support team. One person responded, provided me with another option to connect with alternate flows on the this app app. That didn’t work. I contacted customer support again, and I have yet to receive a response. So I posted a video and can’t submit it to this app, and no one from this app’s support staff has responded with a solution to the problem.
