Honestly I think this app took advantage of my ADHD. I first tried out the Fabulous app, which was so aesthetically pleasing, it lead me to try Clarity as well. Although it’s so pretty to scroll through, it’s overwhelmingly confusing. It reels ADHD minds in by being new, cute, and full of promises, but is actually so difficult to use, so we move on and forget about it, then get a huge app charge of $40 (which is for just 3 months too) after just a 7 day trial. I SWEAR when I signed up, it had a promise that they’d allow a refund with no questions asked, to make it more ADHD friendly, which made me less worried and conscious about the trial ending. Apparently not because they immediately denied my refund request. They also make it very challenging to find where to unsubscribe (have to use the website, which works poorly, instead of the app). I can’t tell the difference between Fabulous and Clarity and they BOTH charged me $40. So I’m out $80 and feel like a fool. Real helpful for a person with the type of brain you claim to support.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Despite never activating the subscription via an email sent when I first signed up, I was still charged, and when I contacted customer support, they couldn’t locate my account (because it wasn’t activated). I had already canceled all my Apple subscriptions in Apple Subscriptions” on my phone including Fabulous, months ago when I first signed up, and my account showed that the subscription would end in November. However, the app didn’t specify a year, leading me to believe it was November 2024—when in reality, I can only assume it meant November 2025. If I had already paid and canceled, why am I still being charged monthly? This isn’t a contract requiring a full-year commitment. If the subscription is canceled, payments should stop. Customer service was unhelpful, despite the app claiming to offer refunds for users who “forget to cancel”, which is misleading for an app marketed as ADHD-friendly. In addition to all of these the app is and all of its sister apps are difficu

So I tried the fabulous app for a bit and saw that they had an adhd app too and tried it out. 100% waste of time. Essentially makes the mistake that every adhd app/planner makes and basically just says “do the thing” without any incentive or accountability. Seems more like a glorified day planner and I felt that the quotes for inspiration were a bit much. Very self-help vibe that sounds great in theory but doesn’t actually help. I was also a bit weary going into it trying out the free trial but was a little comforted by the fact that it said they will remind you when the free trial is coming to an end bc duh adhd people forget. Guess what never came? The reminder to cancel the free trial. Got billed for it and had to contact apple for a refund which is way more work than I wanted to do. The app is not user friendly either I didn’t see any place to cancel the subscription I had to go through apple for that as well. Very confusing and frustrating trying to navigate all of this.
