This one doesn’t show LA county calls. I live in Whittier and get nothing. On PulsePoint Whittier got 17 calls and LAIT911 only showed 1 within an hour. Save your money. This is the first time I ever reviewed an app. It’s that bad.

LAIT911 saved my life. I got an alert that someone was shot down the street from me. I went to lock my door, and not even a minute later, there was a guy trying to get into my house. He had a gun.

Great app! Makes me feel safe anywhere in Los Angeles

LAIT911 has been almost perfect for my street journalism. I use it every night that I’m out capturing different types of scenes across Los Angeles. It’s fast and very accurate which allows me to sometimes be the first on scene! Definitely recommend.

this app provides a great service for first responders, media, community members, and members of government who wish to remain informed without listening to a radio scanner all day or waiting to see reports in the media. This can give you a vital heads-up if you live near a large scale incident or wildfire that may threaten your home or business. As a first responder, I can say that LAIT911 and service work as well (if not better) than “professional” public safety apps.

My roommates and I live on a busy street near a fire station and are always curious to know what’s happening when fire trucks, ambulances, helicopters, and cops are rushing quickly by. LAIT911 helps us figure it out in a moments notice. Really nice getting urgent news notifications, too! I've been notified of major incidents such as a destructive landslide near my house during a storm, a full house fire (which I read the next day was a celebrities house in Beverly Hills 😳), and an explosion in mid city. Every major incident notification from LAIT911 has been top news story in the city next day. I highly recommend to anyone interested in being aware, especially if you live in a big city. Definitely providing peace of mind in this house!

Terrific app and so necessary with the threat of Global Warming looming. What I really love is that it encompasses all manner of local emergencies that could effect where we live.

LAIT911 has great potential. It has filtering by area and time. Recorded radio calls. Live updates. I also use Citizen, but that app doesn’t have as much calls as LAIT911 has. Definitely worth a look. 😎👍

Been using for about two weeks, love the fact I can get notifications for around home and where I am currently; the fact that I can remain so informed with such little effort on my part is a huge value.

Great app that keeps you updated on a real time basis about fire, rescue and police activity in the Las Angeles area. Includes maps, alerts, responding units, and radio traffic. Great way to know what areas to avoid or warned if a wildfire is in your area.

Great app to see what calls are going on in the areas you want to monitor for safety. I have been pleased with LAIT911 so far. Using it to gather intel. The map feature is useful to see incidents in proximity of a location. You should check it out.

Grew up in LA and worked with the LAFD and the LA Coroner back in the 80’s. LAIT911 is very useful for emergencies for locals and for me it keeps me closer to my home which I now live on the East Cost. Well done devs.
