The advertisements for HealthMate are a lie, there’s no option to scan your wrist to check blood pressure or blood sugar, in fact there’s not even anything about blood sugar listed on there which was the main reason I downloaded it to begin with. It wants you to check your own blood pressure and just enter it in HealthMate to keep track of. Completely pointless app.

The ad for this is completely misleading. The only thing that can be measured by your phone is the pulse rate, which other apps like Welltory or Heart Analyzer to better. HealthMate just allows you to enter your blood pressure and stats, which Apple’s native Health app does better.

Saw it in an advert and it looked interesting. However I didn’t realize it was subscription based for even basic functionality. While that may be partly on me, it was not obvious from HealthMate store listening before installing.

HealthMate wants you to sign up with a 3 day free trial first just to only find out that it doesn’t take your blood pressure or oxygen level and there’s no option to hold the phone over your wrist, like they advertised. You have to put your finger on the camera to take your Heart Rate (pulse). That app is already free on iPhones. They should be sued for false advertisement or banned from the Apple App Store. Anyway, can’t stand click bait. Go to your iPhone “subscriptions” in your settings, sign in to that and cancel HealthMate ASAP, if you expected what they advertised because this is false. Don’t forget or you WILL be charged on the 4th day!

The advertisement for HealthMate suggests it does many things but in fact it only takes your pulse and it is very inaccurate. Avoid since it may increase your stress level based on false data. Even if this was free I would avoid it!!

HealthMate is a scam. The video promoting it shows it being held over a persons wrist taking BP, HR, and O2 levels. As soon as you download the free app it makes you pay and then it gives you the disclaimer that it DOES NOT take BP or O2. It only does HR like every other free app. Misleading to consumers and they know it. Completely ripping people off with lies and deception.

The ad for HealthMate shows your phone measuring your blood pressure, pulse ox, and body temperature in addition to your pulse rate. HealthMate will _only_ check your pulse; it provides a place for you to enter your BP, body temp, and pulse ox —but you have to measure all three of those via sone other means; HealthMate will _not_ measure them. You could get the same results for free with a notebook and pencil.

It cannot be used unless you agree to pay $3.99/month after a very short free trial. You cannot skip this step. If you want the free version you will need to change it in Settings. If you are someone who is not tech savvy this could be a problem.

I’m tired of people trying to sell me crap I didn’t download when I downloaded for the free version. If I had the money I would have went straight to the actual full subscription version. You could’ve at least waited until I had tried out the product before you started pushing the pro version on me from the very beginning. It is starting to get a little irritating that is the first place companies go. It is like they could care less about my health and are more concerned with my wallet.

Questions don’t add up with the answers. If I say I’m always overwhelmed and always feeling like I’m not good enough etc… it gives a low score and says I’m not stressed which I KNOW isn’t true. I just want to see where I score but it’s not adding up. If I retake it and say I’m NOT overwhelmed and NOT feeling like I’m not good enough it says I’m stressed!! Make it make sense!!

I joined this to verify the difference in my blood pressure cuff and your app. They ran pretty close. Since I had free 7 day trial and my numbers pretty much matched theirs, I canceled on the 3rd day. Now I’m getting billed for the whole 7 days. If I was going to use HealthMate down the road or suggest it to my friends,,,,, I wouldn’t.

Today I canceled this subscription that I’ve truly been tricked with a short 3-day Trial. On subscribing expecting the measurements other heart rate in the ‘Pro’ version nothing happened new expect with a new reading of heart rate some calculation seem to be done using static data in the measures HealthMate took from first reading in the trial period. Once the additional measures would not update I expect they would unlock with the Pro version. NaDa! Nothing different, HealthMate reports that I have the Pro version. I’ve submitted feedback and done reviews. No a peep. HealthMate shows the last update 7 months ago. The developer has taken us for a ride with an incomplete and deceptive APP missing content.
Today, I submitted a request for refund to Apple. I do not have $39 to give away.

There is an app that confuses yo be related. The icons are from the same source with the second I speak of appearing over exposed. same trial period, same Pro subscription price, no Pro features work after subscribing. There's no Pro version listed in HealthMate Store.
I am seeking a refund on it too.
Please be careful, read many reviews and don't get bamboozled.

Looks to be a really good app to use to take care of your health and track your health really look forward to tracking and managing my health better!!!

Easy to use and navigate very accurate with lots of features

I’m in love so far my lil sister has diabetes so HealthMate helps alot at first when I got HealthMate I thought it was gonnna be useless but now I think HealthMate is very useful

I just downloaded HealthMate and have only just begun using it. So far I’m really enjoying what I’m seeing and learning about heart health as well as other things health related.

So far it is a great. I like it because it’s very to take my blood pressure and my heart. As I am a diabetic with high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and I don’t have to take no pokey machine with me and I can check all this on the go!!!! And that makes me happy

I’ve had heart scares in my life and using this application can be a life saver for all ages. I advise people to use this application as a tool to monitor your health progression. This might save your life if you use it regularly.

I recently had a heart attack and need to regularly check my stats, HealthMate does that without the need to carry around monitors.

Great app! Convenient and reliable! Works well with no technical knowledge needed… just take your reading and see what you can do to get the results you want! Excellent! Wish I had this years ago!

Make sure you take care of you self

it tells you how much you eat and and bad stuff you eat I like it if you don’t eat good but you believe that you have a good heart try it for free

I think this is a very good concept. I feel simple things like this should be free to everyone however.

I love HealthMate they tell you in right time your blood and anything that has to do with your body indexes.

I've been using HealthMate for over three months. It has helped me track my pulse and I've been able to lower it significantly!

Just got this and now I wish I would have gotten it sooner.

Lots of ads to buy but gives the chance for a free unlock. Will update review if it works and will tell you how it really is. Fingers crossed it is good.

Discovered HealthMate in an ad. Tried it and loved it. It especially make it easy for people to measure their blood pressure and heart rate when traveling without having to bring a chunky blood pressure monitor.

I love the fact that I can always check and monitor myself even while on the go

Apps amazing

Now that I’m getting older I’m being more health conscience. With HealthMate I’m able to take my heart rate and blood pressure with out having to go anywhere or buy any medical machines.

This is an awesome app… much cheaper and very convient as to the more contemporary blood pressure cup that is not cool to take with you on the go it’s bulky but with HealthMate it’s always with me thank you so much

Need to check my vitals and what better way then to use the phone. Genius!
